NEW YORK, NY – March 7, 2024 – Great American Family, the home of quality, original faith-affirming, and family programming, is proud to present an unforgettable day of programming honoring the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Good Friday, March 29.

“The Passion Play 2024” is a musical retelling of the dramatic last week in the life of Jesus and why the promise of the Resurrection makes the name of Jesus the most known throughout the world. “The Passion Play 2024,” with Broadway worthy performances, production values, airs on Great American Family, Friday, March 29 (3:45 p.m. ET).

Grammy® Award-winning Christian artist, Matthew West (“My Story…Your Glory,” “We Need Christmas”) narrates Museum of the Bible’s fascinating “The History of Easter,” an entertaining look at everything related to the holiday from how Easter is calendared each year to how colorful eggs and bunnies became part of a global celebration of Spring. “The History of Easter” airs on Great American Family, Friday, March 29 (5-6 p.m. ET).

Good Friday family programming follows the original specials with an encore presentation of Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Just In Time, starring Broadway’s Laura Osnes, Friday, March 29 (6-8 p.m. ET) and an encore of A Christmas…Present, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Friday, March 29 (8-10 p.m. ET).
