The excitement is certainly building for Hallmark's *Countdown to Christmas* event! More news is swirling around social media... Candace Cameron Bure is currently filming her new Christmas movie, along with Alison Sweeney and Brennan Elliott, who are the latest ones to reveal their pairing - before Hallmark has a chance to release details. Even Jill Wagner, who just recently gave birth to her second baby girl, Daisy, is in Canada to film a new movie!

Any day now... I know we are anticipating Hallmark to unveil most (if not all) of their official 2021 Christmas movie line-up for the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! We are all on Christmas movie watch together! Stay tuned!

If you haven't seen the newest Hallmark Christmas promo, yet, here it is...

    3. Is One Royal Holiday the Christmas Royal movie that was filmed in the New England states?

    4. Kathy, So glad to hear the movie has closed-captioning! I really like that option, too, when watching - I always catch more of the dialogue that way! :)

    5. Chris, Yes! "One Royal Holiday" was filmed in Connecticut, just like "Taking the Reins." I'm personally delighted to see more of these movies being made in the USA! :)

  2. Intrigued to find out who Candace Cameron Bure's leading man will be - most thought it was going to be Brennon Elliott.

Plus who will get to star with Lacy? - Florence

    1. Florence, Hallmark hasn't officially announced, yet, but here are the details we know, so far.

The Christmas Contest - Candace Cameron Bure and John Brotherton (he's one of Candace's "Fuller House" co-stars, plus he was Uncle David in Hallmark's "Help for the Holidays")

Christmas at Castle Hart - Lacey Chabert & Stuart Townsend (he's an Irish actor and director)

      Titles may change, though.

    1. Anonymous - Funny you should say that - Laura played Cinderella on Broadway some years ago, and in the pictures that I have seen from the show, she really looks like a Cinderella! (Of course, I may be biased, being a big fan of hers!)

  6. I loved One Royal Holiday! I finally deleted it from the dvr when I pre-ordered the dvd.
Not sure if you've already listed it somewhere, Net, but it looks like "Meet Me at Christmas" is available for pre-order at Amazon.

    1. Jane, I absolutely love "One Royal Holiday," too! Laura Osnes is precious and the lady who plays the Queen is so delightful!

I adore when Laura is trying to lift the Queen's suitcase and she asks why it is so heavy and they tease, at first, that it's the crown jewels, but then the Queen admits, with the most adorable giggle, that it's her shoes! I just love that scene... her sweet laughter always makes me laugh, too!

Thank you, also, for the DVD mention. I have "Meet Me at Christmas" listed with the 2021 Christmas DVD Releases here:

Hope we see many more soon!

      Blessings on your weekend! :)

  7. Having checked these out - John Brotherton looks interesting although I don't remember him from before.

I wonder if their plans changed? - I can't really see that this would be the actor that Candace had "always wanted to work with" but I'm probably wrong!

Stuart Townsend looks a bit of a gamble - I've double checked my maths and he appears to be coming up for 50 - bit dubious about this personally but I know some here said they'd like to see older heroes.

Just have to see how this pans out - Florence
