Hope you all enjoy this last weekend of Summer - as Fall begins next Wednesday! I'm planning to be outdoors and soak up some sunshine - before the weather turns too chilly. I've noticed our leaves are gradually turning, but we haven't had too many fall from the trees, just yet! How about you? Is Fall creeping into your landscape, yet, outside your window?
As for the new stuff on TV this weekend: I am especially looking forward to seeing the wedding on "Chesapeake Shores;" I love the way the family is always there for one another, lifting each other up and supporting each other - in good times and bad. It should be extra special to see them all enthusiastically celebrating Jess' big day - with tears and laughter!
As for the new movies: I love both actresses, Laura Osnes and Danielle C. Ryan, in previous films... so we'll see how these two new movies go!

Do you know anywhere I can find 'Hearts on Fire' in Canada? We don't have access to it on Amazon Prime. I can't find a DVD anywhere!

DeleteYou might want to check if someone has every uploaded it to youtube. Sometimes I've found random full shows on there, like a bunch of Signed Sealed Delivered movies that people have recorded and uploaded. Maybe it would be on there?
Delete"Hearts on Fire" (or "Second Chances") is often thought of as a Hallmark movie, but it is originally a PixL movie and those are typically difficult to find. It may be on UP's streaming service, which may be why you can't find it on Amazon.

Yay! Finally a real wedding for one of the O'Brien kids. Great picture, by the way, of the O'Brien family. Jess and David are cute together; can't wait to see them manage the B&B as a married couple.
ReplyDeleteWent outside to water my window boxes yesterday, and the front porch was covered in leaves! In the south, this is early. We have been wet this summer so it isn't a lack of rain. Fall must be here!
ReplyDeleteWatched Raise A Glass To Love and loved it! I fell in love with Laura's co-star. I love kids but it was nice to see a couple, never married, who had never met, develop a relationship. Her parents are regular Hallmark stars. Family friendly!
kitkat! Oh my goodness! Fall in the South already??? So it ain't so! We are supposed to have nighttime temps drop into the 40's this week here in the Midwest. I'm sooo not ready for that. Gotta grab some extra blankies!

Ya’ll I was so excited I was able to have an early screening and review this movie that releases on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel tomorrow!!! This movie is inspired by the book Finding Love in Bridal Veil, Oregon by @miralee_ferrell_author which I can’t wait to read sometime soon!
I really enjoyed the movie. It had all the elements you typically see in a Hallmark movie: romance, a bit of suspense and a lesson to be learned. This one on the important thing in life. It was wholesome and I didn’t have any worries watching with little ears or eyes near me.
So if you aren’t watching football tomorrow night then go ahead and give it a watch at 9/8c in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel

Ryan, as she performs an excellent and believable job of assuming her new-found role as a mother figure. Moms will identify with Margaret’s self-doubt but overriding desire to do the best for two sweet orphans. The children, played by Skyler Elyse Philpot and Luke Loveless, are excellent little actors and will steal your heart.
Margaret is an architect who has worked hard to establish her successful business and is loyal and caring towards her clients. She is shocked to receive a phone call from a lawyer saying he is handling the estate of her cousin Susan and husband who were killed in a car accident. Her mind immediately flashes back to the time she and Susan were best of friends and with whom she grew up. But they haven’t spoken in years and she has no idea why she is mentioned in the will…
When Margaret finds out that Susan has willed custody of the children, Joel and Sammie, to her, she is thrown into a turmoil and is forced into considering whether she can, or wants to, refocus her life, which includes teaming up with Andrew, an old beau, to honor her deceased cousin’s wishes. As she discovers how special the children are, and how important Andrew is in their lives, will she find it in her heart to rekindle an old love and start a new life that could change her future forever? Or will she be convinced the children would be better cared for by their experienced grandmother and take the easy road, retreat to the city and her boyfriend Nathan, and continue to build her architectural career?
