Note: This movie is actually from 2017 and has been available to watch through Hallmark's streaming service Hallmark Movies Now and other streaming sources. This is, however, the first time this movie will premiere on the Hallmark Channel.
Story-line via Hallmark: Katherine, a workaholic executive, endures the worst Valentine's Day date of her life. On her walk home, a gypsy weaves a magical spell on her and when she wakes up the next morning, she realizes it's Valentine's Day again.
Review:
"The storyline above does refer to a woman as a "gypsy;" however, in the actual movie the woman refers to herself as Katherine's fairy Godmother. I've seen bits and pieces of this movie (what I saw was family friendly) and to me it had a feel somewhat like "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" where Candace Cameron Bure's character Noelle was guided by her guardian angel Charlie to make the right decisions about her faith, career and love." ~Net
It's been awhile since I've seen the movie, so if any of you have seen "Valentine's Again," I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Please share in comments below...
More... SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2021:

With all of the Valentine's Day movies and rom-coms airing this weekend, I was thinking over past Hallmark V-Day themed movies that I love. DeleteI join Chris in wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day Net! Try not to freeze! Brutally cold in the mid west, so the WC is reporting.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to many of these. Getting my DVR set. Thanks Net!
kitkat, Thank you for the warm wishes! It's been soooo cold! We really can't be outside for very long. A winter storm is heading our way tonight with potentially over a foot of snow and high winds. We're planning to stay in and hunker down... just hoping we keep our power!
DeleteHope you had a nice Valentine's Day weekend, too!
Valentine’s Again is like Groundhog Day, Christmas Do Over, & I Do, I Do, I Do - it’s repeating over again
ReplyDeleteThat's right... "Valentine's Again" is one of those do-the-day-over-and-over-until-you-get-it-right type of movies. I don't mind those, myself, but I know not everyone enjoys that style. I guess it depends on the movie.
DeleteHappy Valentin's Net and to all who visit here.
ReplyDeleteFavorite Valentine Movies: My Secret Valentine; Murder She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery; Appetite For Love and Love, Romance & Chocolate.
Looking forward to Crossword Mysteries: Terminal Descent! Also looking forward to Martha's Vineyard Marathon, which airs Saturday. Love that series!

DeleteHope you enjoyed the new Crossword Mystery! I was watching the Hallmark Channel Sunday night, so I haven't watched it, yet. Looking forward to it!
Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteDenise, Hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day, too! Thank you!
DeleteWhat did you guys think of the Hallmark movie Playing Cupid?
ReplyDeleteI did not watch it. I have not cared for movies with that theme.
DeleteMisty
I thought that Playing Cupid was absolutely terrible. It is one of the worst Hallmark movies in 2021.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Chris, I haven't watched it, yet. Wonder what others thought of it???
DeleteNot surprised. Lately, I have not cared for Hallmark movies.
DeleteMisty
Chris, I also thought "Playing Cupid" was not good. I deleted it from my DVR. So disappointed!
Deletekitkat, I recently watched Playing Cupid. While it was family friendly, something about it didn't capture me either. To me, it felt more like I was watching a movie on the Disney Channel instead of the Hallmark Channel. It seemed rather unrealistic that this young girl would be such a great matchmaker. Also, there was very little relation to the Jane Austen Emma book, other than the name of the school being called Austen and the young girl was a matchmaker. Even though it was wholesome, it was not a keeper for me.
Delete♥️Happy Valentines Day♥️
ReplyDeleteHope you had a happy ♥️ day, too!
DeleteI was wondering if Hallmark is ever going to release on dvd the rest of the Mystery Woman Series. I have the first three and would love the other six. Also, still hoping for Love in Paradise, Return to Christmas Creek, On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, Chasing Leprechauns, Thanksgiving House, Window Wonderland, Christmas Cottage, Christmas Land, and Love Always Santa. Also, hoping that many of this years Christmas movies will come out on dvd. Especially, One Royal Holiday.
ReplyDeleteGreat DVD wish list! You'd think they would release the entire Mystery Woman in a DVD collection. I, too, have that 3 movie collection. Maybe one day they'll release them all... I sure hope so.
DeleteWould love to see many of the other movies you mentioned on DVD, too. I'll be keeping a look out for them!
I love that movie: Sincerely Yours, Truly
ReplyDelete2 Hallmark Stars: Marshall Williams & Natalie Halls
UPTV has Hallmark movies
I asked Hallmark to pick Sincerely,Yours, Truly Up last year of 2,years ago
I hope that movie will go to HMM in the future
I’m keeping this movie in my DVR
That's definitely a good idea to keep "Sincerely, Yours, Truly" on your DVR - since you loved it. You never know if it will ever be released on DVD.
DeleteThank you for sharing your love of this movie with us! ♥️
Sincerely Yours, Truly will go on Hallmark Movies Now
ReplyDeleteI hope it will go to HMM as HM in the future
Those two are Hallmark Stars - Marshall Williams & Natalie Hall
Oh, Net! Lacey and Brennan's "Terminal Descent" was so good. Loved every minute of it. Both Lacey and Brennan are much more relaxed and are now connecting emotionally. Loved it!
ReplyDeletekitkat, So happy to hear how much you enjoyed the new Crossword Mystery! I shared your review - here!
DeleteI can't wait to see it... I always love Lacey & Brennan together! :) :)
What other movies besides Crossword Mysteries that Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott played in together?
DeleteBesides Crossword Mysteries, they've been in four other movies together...
DeleteAll of My Heart
All of My Heart: Inn Love
All of My Heart: The Wedding
A Christmas Melody
Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day today, Net! We are expecting a ton of snow here in Chicagoland this evening and into tomorrow morning as well! A great night for movie watching! Be safe and keep warm!
ReplyDeleteMark 25! Hope you've been able to get shoveled out in Chicago. We use both shovel and backhoe on our farm... lots of snow to move!
DeleteI had family drive to Chicago yesterday for work and the drive usually takes around 5-6 hours round trip, but this time they left home at around 8am and got home just before 10pm! Yikes, right? The wind and blowing snow was pretty bad on the roads, plus slick in spots. Just glad they got home safe.
Take care out there & stay warm, too!
I feel so bad for your family members having to drive yesterday out here! I live in the suburbs, and we got about a foot of snow (on top of the many inches already on the ground). But the city itself, by the lake, got up to 18 inches! And yes, the heavy winds made visibility impossible at times! I'm glad your family made it home safe, and I have no doubt you were praying for their safe journey!
DeleteYou keep safe and stay warm, too! And I will definitely be watching one of your recommended "snow" movies tonight!
Thank you, Mark... it was a long trip! Of course the Windy City lived up to it's name. And yes, you know me so well, I was certainly praying all day! :)
DeleteI think up tv should somehow take over SSD and create those movies. It would fill a niche they need to me and has a huge fan following. Hallmark doesn't seem to want it any more.
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, I do wonder what is going on behind-the-scenes with SSD and Hallmark. I keep hoping we will hear something. With all of the recent SSD movie marathons I thought maybe some news would come our way.
DeleteNet or Misty, I was not able to watch when they were doing the reruns of SSD. So, I went ahead and purchased all of the available SSD dvds (I think). The last to arrive were the Collections 1 & 2 (I followed your links on the right sidebar, Net, so hopefully you get credit). I didn't pay much attention when I ordered them, but they just arrived today and they both have bright blue warning labels on the front and back saying that they have Mature themes and violence and are only for mature audiences. The other SSD dvds (from the first season and the original movie) do not have that label. What's up with that? Are they family friendly?
Delete~~Jane
Jane, I have seen EVERY "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie and I cannot imagine why they would have or need those labels on them. Each one is wonderful and inspirational. That makes zero sense to me. If they were murder mysteries that would make sense, but none of them involve murder or violence, that I can think of.
DeleteI just went back and looked through each movie to see if I could think of anything and the only thing close I can see is when a soldier is lost in a war zone. Nothing graphic is shown there - so I don't think that is it. And as far as relationships go, all we may see is a simple kiss or a chaste, consoling embrace, nothing more.
If you are seeing these movie titles (below)... then it should all be good!
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" DVD Collection #1:
* Signed Sealed Delivered: For Christmas
* Signed Sealed Delivered: From Paris With Love
* Signed Sealed Delivered: Truth Be Told
* Signed Sealed Delivered: The Impossible Dream
* Signed Sealed Delivered: From The Heart
* Signed Sealed Delivered: One in a Million
and
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" DVD Collection #2:
* Signed Sealed Delivered: Lost Without You
* Signed Sealed Delivered: Higher Ground
* Signed Sealed Delivered: Home Again
* Signed Sealed Delivered: The Road Less Travelled
* Signed Sealed Delivered: To The Altar
These are all wonderful movies and I sure hope you enjoy each one - Please keep us posted! (pun intended!)
Blessings! Net
Thanks, Net. If you follow your two links to Amazon, you can see the big blue warning labels on those two collections. I just went to the amazon reviews and typed in "mature" and several reviews reiterate what you've said and specifically state that there is no reason for these mature labels. It's bizarre why they would sell them with those labels. Oh, well.
Delete~~Jane
Jane, I see that label on there. That is so odd. I bet there are actual rated R movies on Amazon's web-site that should have that label and don't.
DeletePlus, most individual "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies on DVD have the Dove Approval label in the bottom corner.
So glad other reviewers confirmed this. It's sad to think this label may keep some people from ever seeing this wonderful series.
Hope you enjoy them all!
I absolutely enjoyed Playing Cupid. Very cute premise and leads were incredible together. It was very family friendly!Their were so many cute moments and it was funny!
ReplyDeleteSarah, Thank you for sharing a review of "Playing Cupid." I posted it *here*. Glad to hear you liked it! :)
DeleteI thought Sincerely, Yours Truly was cute. It was a little confusing at the beginning, but got better as the movie went along. Family-friendly and a nice change of pace from the so-so Hallmark movies lately. Natalie Hall is becoming a must-watch for me when she's in a movie.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this delightful review! I just wanted to let you know I posted it here. So glad to hear you liked it.
DeleteTerminal Descent was another excellent instalment in the Ctossword Mystreies series, perhaps even the best to date.
ReplyDeleteLacey and Brennan suit each other well and as usual there are numerous touches of humour.
The mystery was intriguing and at long last there seemed to be some progress in their personal relationship as they learned more of each others' pasts.
However it does seem that it's obligatory for the hero in all the current mystery series now to have had a previous unhappy marriage - why?
*SPOILER*
Just to throw a spanner in the works - it was really great to see Matthew Dowden and I was thinking how he would make a great match for Tess - of course that can't happen.
I'd love to see Matthew get a Hallmark leading role.
Sincerely, Yours Truly.
ReplyDeleteWell now here's a bit of a surprise - Natalie Hall can be hit and miss with me and to be honest in the couple of movies I have seen him in Marshall Williams has been a bit insipid but both stepped up to the mark here particularly Mr Williams.
He was still the boy your mother would like to see you bring home! but his character also had a slightly harder edge to it.
There was a slightly slow start to the movie but once it got going it was delightful and the plot was just that little bit out of the ordinary.
There was a really great feeling of connection between the leads and plenty of humour.
Reallky nice ending too.
It's always good when a movie you aren't expecting too much from really hits the mark.
I really enjoyed this - it was refreshing and heart-warming and definitely family friendly!
Thank you, Anonymous, for sharing these 2 wonderful reviews above! Glad to hear you enjoyed both of these movies.
ReplyDeleteI posted Crossword Mysteries: Terminal Descent - here and Sincerely, Yours, Truly - here.
Again, thank you so much for commenting and sharing with us!
