πŸŽƒ FALL HARVEST, πŸŽ₯ NEW MOVIES and an IRRESISTIBLE ENCORE - this Weekend on TV!

Are Y'all ready for Fall?

Here in the Midwest our temps have dropped down in the upper 40's - 50's at night! Brrrr! I've been grabbing for an extra blankie lately - so, ready or not, Summer is rapidly slipping away and Fall is on the way! (Are you getting chillier weather, too?) My heart certainly goes out to everyone who has been affected lately by the destructive hurricanes and storms in the South. Please be safe, everyone, and take care...

The first day of Autumn is technically next Tuesday, September 22nd, but leave it to the Hallmark Channel to jump in early with their first Fall Harvest movie premiering this weekend!

CHRISTMAS MOVIE NEWS:

In case you missed it, Lifetime released their full 2020 Christmas movie slate this week. SEE HERE.

Please know, I will NOT be promoting every Lifetime Christmas film. Unfortunately, with some exceptions, it will be difficult to know which movies are family-friendly, but I will be sharing here throughout the Christmas season if I learn of any movie of concern - and I absolutely appreciate those of you who take time to share information, too!

First off, I will NOT be promoting the Lifetime movie, "The Christmas Set Up," because the main storyline is a same sex romance. I wanted to be sure to warn you all of this right away and let you know this movie is featured in the new Lifetime Christmas movie promo. Most likely this commercial will run this Christmas season on the Lifetime network. Please beware of this if you decide to turn there.

One movie that looks good to me, so far, is a new Lifetime Military Christmas movie titled "A Welcome Home Christmas." It appears to have lots of promise. The movie stars Jana Kramer ("Christmas in Mississippi," "Love at First Bark") and Brandon Quinn ("Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses"), plus the movie co-stars Tim Reid, Charlene Tilton, and country singer, Craig Morgan. To see more on this movie and more Christmas movies coming to Lifetime this Christmas season - CLICK HERE.

I hope you all have a pleasant last weekend of Summer, and maybe, enjoy a movie or two!

I'm looking forward to the new Fall Harvest movie this weekend and both of the Christmas Sneak Peeks, plus the UPtv movie premiere!

*Please Note: I have not pre-screened these new movies, but based on the previews we've been given, thus far, I am anticipating they will be family-friendly. Let's hope so!

Have a nice weekend, everyone...

Blessings, Net

  1. Really looking forward to The Irresistable Blueberry Farm - it's one of my all-time favourite Hallmark movies.

The chemistry between Alison and Marc is amazing.

  7. In most of Hallmark's mystery series I think the leading characters definitely have been chosen well apart that is from the Chronicle Mysteries.

I don't think Benjamin Ayres matches up with Alison Sweeney at all, there's little chemistry between them - in fact I much preferred the other guy she dated although he wasn't in the last one they aired so that's probably over.

  9. Thank you, My Friend Net, for all you do. There are a few movies that look good from Lifetime Christmas, and then a few I know I will be skipping. Inn Love By Christmas is one I am looking forward too.

As for Daisy Hills, I will say I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but was this a Fall movie? all I saw it didn't seem fall at all. The trees in the shots were all green. I am still upset they took off Finding Love in Mountain View, which really looked fall in place of this. From what I was watching this movie was good, it just wasn't fall so why call it Fall Harvest when you have other fall harvest movies you could have played? Then Sunday they didn't really play anything fall on the 1st week of fall harvest. So needless to say I didn't watch much Hallmark again this weekend.

    1. Sabrina, Look careful that Follow Me to Daisy Hills is Fall Harvest Movie

Jo’s little Sister; Sofi’s Birthday Party - looks the colorful balloons are Fall Harvest theme

Jo & Sofi wore Fall Harvest Clothes

      Blake’s flannel shirts

    2. I agree this was a weak fall movie. There wasn't a pumpkin, corn stalk, fall festival or apple cider drink in sight. If I had money to bet, I'd say this was intended for spring but it got pushed to Fall.

  11. Fall Harvest is still green what’s if the trees didn’t change color at all

If the trees change colors like golden orange leaves

  12. Happy Fall Net! For the past 3 days, our weather has been picture-perfect! Cool nights and mild days. When we drop into the 50's, I am a happy lady. Really feels like fall in the south. Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. When fall arrives, Christmas isn't far away!

  13. Net, Did u see somewhat mistaken in the movie - it’s Sofi’s Univesity acceptance in Jo’s hand while she go outside by calling her little Sister’s birthday party because she didn’t put on countertop at family general store

There’s ain’t Jo’s little Sister; Sofi’s evelope disappear in thin air but it’s already on the countertop

  14. Hello All, has Sweet Autumn been pulled from the line up this year? I was really looking forward to that. Its a shame that Finding Love in Mountain View was pulled from the schedule as it seems to be set in Autumn with what looks like Thanksgiving scenes. I enjoyed Follow Me To Daisy Hills, but agree it could have definitely featured Fall more heavily. I was hoping that Hallmark would show Home For Harvest, I believe it may have aired elsewhere, but it had a really lovely Fall theme. I am looking forward to watching the rest of the Fall Harvest Movies and of course cannot wait for all of the Christmas movies.

    1. Net still has it listed as airing on 17 October and according to IMDB it is post-production so has definitely been completed.

I'm nearly scared to hope but it looks as if we are finally going to get Country At Heart.

    2. I double checked since you asked and as of right now, the Hallmark Channel web-site is still listing "Sweet Autumn" to premiere as part of Fall Harvest on October 17th.

And you're right... still no date listed for "Finding Love in Mountain View," in spite of it's appropriateness for the Fall season.

Plus, the Hallmark Movies Now (streaming service) shows "Home For Harvest" in their latest promo.

Hope you enjoy the rest of Fall Harvest & Christmas! :)
