I love the Aurora Teagarden mysteries! I do miss Garage Sale Mysteries too. And I wish they would've made more of Murder, She Baked. I didn't like how they ended that series.
ReplyDeleteMoody, I agree 100%!!! I have always enjoyed the "Garage Sale Mystery" series. It was fun to look forward each August to 3 or 4 more movies in that mystery wheel. I just loved the uniqueness of the antique store and the Shannon family.
DeleteLike you, I also loved "Murder She Baked" and wanted to see more of that series. I always thought they wrapped things up a little too quickly in the very last movie, but I would still love to see more of them! It was such a great ensemble cast!
Hope you enjoy the "Aurora Teagarden" mysteries this weekend! :)
Hallmark is becoming so sneaky. Last night during the SSD movie, which they knew so many were watching, they showed the promo for Weddings Every Weekend on HMM. So thankful I had recorded so I could avoid watching. Why don't they keep their offensive things on the same channel that is showing that movie? I have avoided the Hallmark channel all week because of that promo, and I am guessing others have too. Suppose they wanted to make sure we saw it anyway. Shame on you Hallmark!
ReplyDeletekitkat, Yeah, that's the way they usually do it. Unfortunately, the commercial will still air across all of the Hallmark networks/channels. I'm so glad you recorded it so you could fast-forward. I typically record everything too. It's just much better that way.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing this.
I love the Aurora Teagarden series. I admit it took me a while to watch the last few movies, but I did and love them. I am still bummed about martin leaving, but I love Roe and the professor too.
ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY LOVE A Bone to Pick, my favorite movie. I love Jane's house that she gives to Roe, I love the porch.
We will be strong. KitKat, I recorded SSD from last night too, thank you for letting us know about the commercial.
Sabrina, Same for me! It took me a little getting used to Roe and Martin and then when I did, he left. So... then I was a little unsure about Aurora & Nick, but over time, I've really warmed up to him too. I love how he helps Aurora investigate instead of scolding her for getting involved.
DeleteThank you for standing with us, Sabrina, and for being such a great friend! :)
I’m watching Hallmark’s Flower Girl on UPTV
ReplyDeleteFlower Girl (2009)

Aurora Teagarden Mystery: Disappearing Game
ReplyDeleteWhy did you type Aurora’s Nephew Phillip Pifer but it’s her Cousin Phillip Pifer; her Mother Aida’s side is her Nephew whose has a Sister?
The disappearance of Aurora Teagarden’s (Candace Cameron Burke) Cousin Phillip (Dylan Sloane) & his roommate, following the suspicious death of the roommate's girlfriend, spur Aurora on to investigate.
You better watch Aurora Teagarden Mystery: The Disappearing Game again - Phillip comes to Lawrenceton for College year - volume up & closed caption
Phillip Pifer comes to his Cousin’s place
Aida opens the door & sees her Nephew Phillip Pifer for COLLEGE YEAR
Phillip said Hey, Aunt Aida
Phillip said to Aurora: Hey Cousin
Nephew Phillip Pifer - His Aunt Aida Teagarden
Phillip Pifer is Aurora’s Cousin
Aurora Teagarden Mystery Books
Aurora has Siblings - Phillip is Aurora’s Nephew
But, in Aurora Teagarden Mystery Movies
Aurora’s Mother; Aida Teagarden has Sister
Aurora is an only child who didn’t have siblings
Phillip comes to visit his Cousin Aurora’s place
Phillip is Aida’s Nephew
Phillip is Aurora’s Cousin
Aida is Aurora’s Mother & Phillip’s Aunt
Aurora is Aida’s Daughter & Phillip’s Cousin
AIDA’s Sister is Aurora’s Aunt & Phillip is her Son
Aida Teagarden has a Sister
It is different from the books, once again, then it is in the movies.
DeleteOf course, that's right! In the "Aurora Teagarden" films Philip is being portrayed as Aurora's cousin and Aida's nephew. It's too bad they didn't include Aurora's siblings in the movies - that could've been another fun element to the stories.
Thank you so much for your comment. I corrected it to cousin above. ^ Great catch, by the way! :)
Aurora to Aida: Your Nephew’s on his way over for Dinner
ReplyDeleteAida to Aurora: Phillip is coming?
Oh, I’ll stay
Phillip to Aida: Hey, Aunt Aida
Phillip to Aurora: Hey Cousin
Aurora to Phillip: Hey back
Aurora to Aida: How Aunt Mary doing?
Aurora & Phillip are Cousins
Aida & Mary are Sisters
Mary is Phillip Pifet’s Mother; His Aunt Aida’s Sister
Mary is Aurora’s Aunt, Aida’s Sister, & Phillip’s Mother
