I hope you all enjoy this weekend. Palm Sunday this Sunday and Easter Sunday next weekend are certainly not going to be the same this year. There will be no Easter Church Services in person (only virtual streaming sermons), or Passion Play performances, no big Easter Egg Hunts, or Easter Bunny visits at the local mall, and no large family Easter gatherings. However, the most important thing, is that we honor in our hearts the true meaning of Easter.

My birthday (Friday, April 3rd) has also been quite different this year. Celebrating anything during this corona virus social distancing season makes any occasion out of the ordinary. Thankfully, I was able to be with some of my family (who made me the most beautiful, delicious Vanilla Bean cake!), but I sooooo missed being with the rest of my family, too, who I always share this special day with! (I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!) The best gift and greatest blessing is that we are all healthy, and I know we will be together again once this is all over. (I can't wait to HUG You All so tight!) I pray that is soon!

As a farm family in the mid-west heartland of this country, we are still able to prepare for spring planting, so I want to reassure you the supply chain is still working and running - literally from the ground up. My heart goes out to other families who are separated from their loved ones and to those who currently cannot go to their workplace. I know that is really hard right now. My prayers and thoughts are with... you are especially on my heart!

God's Blessings to You All as we go through this time together, Net

A Palm Sunday Scripture...

SHARING HIS LIGHT!

The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:

“Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
The King of Israel!”

~John 12:12-13

  1. Nathan is the best choice, even though he has been a bit more reluctant than Lucas to make his true feelings known.

“She should go with Lucas but realize that she wants Nathan!”

But what about Nathan? In a scene from the upcoming episode that appears to take place after the trip, Elizabeth passes Nathan on the street. “Welcome back,” he cooly tells her before walking on without saying another word.

Nathan (Kevin McGarry) grapples with his emotions for Elizabeth.

  9. Logan Williams, ‘The Flash’ and ‘When Calls the Heart’ Actor, Dies at 16

"I was so impressed by not only Logan's talent but his professionalism on set," writes "The Flash" star Grant Gustin

Logan Williams, a 16-year-old actor who appeared on the CW superhero series “The Flash” as a young Barry Allen, has died, according to his family.
The actor’s mother, Marlyse Williams, confirmed the news of her son’s death to the Tri-City News. No cause of death was provided, though Williams was said to have died suddenly on Thursday.

Williams appeared in eight episodes of “The Flash” during its first two seasons — including the series pilot — as a younger version of Grant Gustin’s titular DC Comics hero. His other acting credits include the Hallmark series “When Calls the Heart,” as well as guest spots on “The Whispers” and “Supernatural.”

Gustin remembered his former co-star in an Instagram post on Thursday, praising the young actor’s ability and professionalism.
“Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly,” he wrote. “This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them.”
He continued, “Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.”

  11. "I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild," Williams' mother, Marlyse told TriCity News, referring to social distancing guidelines in place due to coronavirus. "It's hard. With his talent and gorgeous looks, Logan had the potential to be a huge star."

Along with Williams and Krakow, When Calls the Heart also starred Lori Loughlin, who was written out of the series after the college admissions scandal broke, as well as Arrowstar Stephen Amell. Though the young actor had an even deeper connection to The CW's Arrowverse, having played a young Barry Allen in Arrow's sister-series, The Flash.

Grant Gustin, who stars as the adult Barry Allen/Flash, also expressed his condolences in an Instagram post on Friday.

"Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly," Gustin wrote, along with a picture of the two while filming The Flash pilot in 2014. "I was so impressed by not only Logan's talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all."

Joining Gustin in expressing his regards to Williams' family was Mark Hamill, who played the villain James Jesse/The Trickster on The CW series.

"Tragic news. So sorry to hear of this," Hamill wrote, replying to John Wesley Shipp, who played Henry Allen and Jay Garrick.

Allie told Elizabeth that her Uncle; Nathan talked a lot about her.

    Elizabeth did he say

    Allie shrugs

Nathan will talk about Elizabeth with Bill by riding their horses 🐴 when Elizabeth heard them talking about about her by schoolhouse

How could Elizabeth affect her feelings for Nathan that all she wants to be with?

  21. "When Love is not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story" in on Hallmark Drama tonight, Monday, April 6. It is the best Hallmark movie ever, in my opinion! It's a Hall of Fame-r, made back when that really meant something. This movie is about Alcoholics Anonymous and has a serious, important subject matter. (Plus Winona Ryder and beautiful clothing from the 1940's or whenever.)

  22. I'm really not sure who Elizabeth will end up with! At first I thought Nathan, but now I'm thinking maybe Lucas. He actually isn't as mysterious as everyone originally thought. And I don't think that Elizabeth will choose another mountie. In an episode from last season when Bill and Lee are babysitting Lee says, "Do you think Little Jack will grow up to be a mountie?" And Bill says, "Not if Elizabeth has anything to do with it." So I don't know! Maybe they'll bring in someone completely different altogether! They added the new pastor, so maybe they'll add another new character:)
