*A Time to Celebrate*... Plus, Hallmark Movie News!!!

April is here... With all it's beauty and promise, and April Showers, too!

And... My Birthday is this Weekend! Yay! I'm so Blessed! I already have such amazing gifts in my life -  knowing my Savior, and being showered with love by my beautiful, precious Family and Friends!

It's also such a joy to share my Birthday on Sunday, April 3rd! First, with my dear Uncle and one of my all-time favorite Actresses...

the Classic Star and Lovely Leading Lady...
Doris Day!

Actress Doris Day

You can see some Delightful "Doris Day" films throughout the month of April on TCM!

Another actress who shares my Birthday
on April 3rd, is Jennie Garth!
Jennie Garth
"Accidentally in Love"

She is probably best known for her role on Beverly Hills, 90210... but, Hallmark Movie fans will also recognize Jennie from "The Last Cowboy", "Accidentally in Love", and "A Christmas Wedding Tail".

NEW HALLMARK MOVIE NEWS...

It has been shared via social media that Jennie Garth will star in the new upcoming Hallmark TV Movie, “Karen Kingsbury's A Time to Dance”, based on Karen's novel! Also starring in the movie are Fiona Vroom (Appetite for Love), Dan Payne (All Yours), Corbin Bernsen (Love's Complicated), and Ona Grauer (Love in Paradise, Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Murder Mystery).

Another Classic Movie Star...

One more Hallmark Movie Star
with a Birthday right around the corner is...
Candace Cameron Bure!

Candace, who we all know from "Moonlight and Mistletoe", "A Christmas Detour", "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries", and More... will be celebrating her birthday on April 6th! Like many of you, I grew up watching her as D.J. Tanner on "Full House", so it's fun that our birthdays are so close!

Candace Cameron Bure - Hallmark Crown Media

In other Candace movie news... she just recently finished filming the third movie in the Aurora Mystery series... "3 Bedrooms 1 Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery"! And a fourth one "The Julius House" is in the works next! (*Thanks so much for the movie info H.R. Jafael!)

Candace Cameron Bure shared this on-set pic below via Instagram:

It's great to see the usual cast back for this new Aurora movie: "3 Bedrooms 1 Corpse", including Marilu Henner, but there's also a new face pictured here on the left! That is actor Yannick Beeson, best known from two mystery series, "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" and "Murdoch Mysteries". Interesting, huh!?!?!

And, one more exciting Candace Cameron Bure Movie Reveal... (*Special thanks to Shirley S. for finding and sharing this news!)

Finally, the first release of the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries is coming to DVD...

  2. Happy Birthday Net!!! I don't really want to correct you, but is name is Yannick Bisson. He also played a wonderful show called Sue Thomas, F.B. EYE. It came out in the early 2000's and was great family show. My entire family loves it and it is one of the only shows that we all agree on. (Meaning that we all like it and don't mind watching it over and over.)

  3. Sorry about adding the Sue comment I read the post quickly which I have a bad habit of doing sometimes and totally missed that you had Sue there. The rest of the comment is accurate though, my entire family does love the show.

  11. What a fab posting today! Happy Birthday girl, and leave it to you to also include not one, but two new tidbits of Hallmark movie information, "A Time to Dance" casting, which I'm glad to see is officially being made after all and "A Bone to Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" new to DVD. Hope this means we can expect more Hallmark Movies & Mysteries originals to come on DVD.

Thankx for all the movie info! (I'm such a broken record, but I always mean it!) Happy Birthday Net!!!

I think I'll pop in an old Doris Day movie and think of you!

  14. Happy Birthday Net! My son's birthday happens to be April 2nd, so we too have been celebrating a birthday this weekend! Also, I love Yannick Bisson as William Murdoch in the Murdoch Mysteries series; I have watched that show from the original TV movies, and have seen every episode. It's one of my favorite shows with some fascinating characters, though it does sometimes show autopsies and violence, so you might want to hold off on young kids watching it with you. William Murdoch is, I think, a very worthy role-model however, so parents will have to balance that out for themselves.

Thanks for the heads up for the Aurora Teagarden mystery DVD being out!

  17. The annoying background music really bothers me, and anyone with a hearing aid would not be able to watch, I love the movie channel, but this is so annoying, I can hardly watch it anymore!
