LET IT SNOW with Candace Cameron Bure & Jesse Hutch is COMING to DVD!!!

BREAKING CHRISTMAS MOVIE NEWS!!!

Amazon has LET IT SNOW on DVD listed now on their site for Pre-Order! The official DVD Release date is December 1st, 2015... however, Amazon has that great deal called "Pre-order Price Guarantee! Order now and if the Amazon.com price decreases between your order time and the end of the day of the release date, you'll receive the lowest price!" (I must admit I love that!)

So far (as I type this today) the official DVD cover has not been released, so it may or may not be the exact original movie poster with Candace Cameron Bure & Jesse Hutch. However, having always liked the above snowy image, I do hope they plan to use it!

*A very special thank you to Trisha for sharing this news with me via Twitter!

    1. Good advice, Linda! So smart of you to "snag" it early! It seems so many other titles (like Paper Angels) have disappeared or others (Midnight Masquerade) have sold out rather quickly!!

Let it Snow is definitely one of the Hallmark movies we want to have in our ever-growing DVD collection!!!

Okay... I almost just fell out of my chair over this news!!!! I can't believe it's coming to DVD!! This one AND "Snow Bride," which -- along with "The Christmas Ornament" and "A Very Merry Mix-Up" -- were my favorite movies of 2013, and among my all-time Hallmark favorites!!! Now all 4 of my favorites from 2013 will be available on DVD!!!!!!

    This is wonderful news!

I have Amazon gift card money saved up, so I know where a portion of it will be going. ;) Now if only "Snow Bride" would get to Amazon too...

    1. Oh my goodness, Sherry... I love it!!! I felt the very same thing! Shocked! I almost couldn't believe it!

Hope this means there might be even more movie surprises.

It's a good thing you have that gift card, too, and this is the perfect opportunity to use it!

BTW... still looking out for Snow Bride at Amazon and other additional Christmas movie titles!!!

I am a little surprised that "Let it Snow" is going to be so expensive right off the bat (compared to the usual prices of Hallmark movies on Amazon). I assume that after it is released (and sells out a few times), it will be restocked at a lower price.

When "Nine Lives of Christmas" first appeared on Amazon, after being a Walmart exclusive, it was ridiculously expensive. Then it eventually dropped to a price that was more like the usual prices (in other words, under $14). I assume that's what will happen with "Snow Bride" too -- it will start out as being exclusive to Walmart and ChristianBook (at a reasonable rate), and then it will pop up on Amazon for a crazy price. Then, a few months later it will drop down to a normal price.

In any case, I am thankful that you reported it (after the tip from Trisha). Hallmark always tells people on their Facebook pages that they will announce it or let people know when DVDs become available for certain movies -- and I don't think they ever do! Lol. "Snow Bride" and "Let it Snow" are among the most asked about, and at this rate I am not even sure if the social media people at Hallmark know that two of their most requested movies are being released to DVD. You would think they'd want to advertise it. Maybe it's better that they don't advertise, because then the movies would sell out faster! But, from a business perspective, I'm not sure why they are not advertising.

    3. When stores like Wal-Mart or Best Buy have an exclusive on a DVD release, you're always buying marked up secondary market copies, even if they're shipped by Amazon. Always buy direct. Eventually the exclusive will expire and Amazon will offer it at regular prices, but if you want it before then, you gotta buy direct, or you're just being scammed.

  5. Best news all day, Net! I'm going to go snag one up right now before they sell out like others have this year. Love what you do here every year for all of us die hard Hallmark movie fans.

It's always a good idea, as Linda advised above, to get your order in now while it is available. If we delay, then who knows?!!?!!?

  7. I'm betting they keep the original poster, since they have been doing that with other recent releases.

    1. Unless they decide to add Alan Thicke to the cover, too, I'm also guessing they'll keep the original!

  8. Still waiting for Midnight Masquerade, One Starry Christmas, what's taking so long?

    1. Midnight Masquerade was available through Walmart for a time, but it doesn't show up there now. Maybe it's in stores?

As for One Starry Christmas... I know many are asking for it - so maybe it will eventually come!

    2. I tried several weeks ago to order Midnight Masquerade and it said it was out of stock!

    3. I saw that, too! It is so odd.... since Midnight Masquerade was only offered for a such a short time.

Wonder if anyone has seen the Midnight Masquerade DVD in their local Walmart stores?

The pre-order price has already dropped (thankfully) to about half of what it was a few days ago! I'm glad for that. As much as I love "Let it Snow" and want the DVD, I was having a hard time with the idea of possibly paying $30-ish for it, when I knew that the price would probably drop sometime next year. But, fortunately, the price is now down where it should be for a Hallmark movie -- under $15! So I pre-ordered it.

While on Amazon I finally ordered "Christmas at Cartwright's" (which also appears to have dropped in price). AND I got "Fir Crazy"/"Oh, Christmas Tree," because I didn't get it last year and -- while it is not a favorite -- I do like it well enough to have the DVD.

And then I ordered "Snow Bride" on Walmart's site!

I am hoping that "All of My Heart," the Countdown to Valentine's Day movie with Lacey Chabert, comes to DVD soon.

Now if Hallmark would only release "Farewell, Mr. Kringle," "Finding Christmas," "Window Wonderland," "Angels and Ornaments," "The Christmas Shepherd" and "Matchmaker Santa" to DVD....

    1. Wow! You ordered lots of really great Christmas movies, Sherry! Hope you clicked through my site! :)

I, too, LOVE so many of the ones you mentioned... especially "All of my Heart", "Window Wonderland", & "Matchmaker Santa"!!! Whenever they are on - I have to watch!!! I would be first in line to order all of those!!!

By the way... I also thought that original price for "Let it Snow" was pretty high. Good to see it drop!

Enjoy ALL your Movies, Sherry! :)
