  1. While this movie is family-friendly without anything objectionable, it wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t care of the main actor, though he was nice enough. Laura Bundy was really good. But their chemistry was just okay and their romance average. I did, however, love the Christmas Calendar and how it brought the town together! And it was fun how everyone guessed who the secret admirer was (I guessed correct, just sayin’!). And I loved the magic at the end (I won’t spoil it by saying what the magic is), that was a good twist! And the secondary romances were super fun too! I was happy that more than one person found love. (Side note, James says the most adorable thing at the end…SPOILER…. Livy says to him, “it wasn’t you?” James responds, as he touches tenderly touches check, “If I was interested in her I’d buy pastries, not plants.” It melted my heart with the tenderness!)
