Now Holly must spend the next few days with the man who broke her heart. With the help of Caroline (Faith Ford, Hope & Faith), her match-making mother and Mr. Kriss, the kind man who will play Santa in the town's celebration, Holly begins to fall in love with her hometown, and Mike, all over again. Christmas in Mississippi also stars Barry Bostwick (Spin City, Cougar Town) and Richard Karn (Home Improvement). Christmas in Mississippi is produced by Ken Badish and Daniel Lewis of Active Entertainment. Emily Moss Wilson serves as the director. Marcy Holland serves as the writer.

  1. What a charming movie set in a non snow setting. I visited Gulfport during a roadtrip across SE USA last year and really liked this town affected by a hurricane few years ago. The spirit of resilience and hope was very omnipresent. As always the handsome Wes Brown never fails to charm and he and Jana Kramer had such believable chemistry. For me certainly on of the best Xmas movies for 2017.

  2. LOVED this one!! Cute and sweet and heartwarming and everything a Christmas movie should be. Loved their cute banter. Wes Brown plays teasing/charming/romantic so well. :)

  3. Oh wow, I was so pleasantly surprised by this one!!! In fact it's definitely one of my favorite one of this year so far. I love how the theme is about a city that's trying to rebuild from Katrina. Storyline is pretty standard but it was so beautifully done! Cinematography was perfect and carried the tone so well. Wes Brown was amazing. Agreed with Amy, really love their cute banters and how Wes Brown portrayed Mike. One of my favorite scene would be when Mike and Holly said goodbye on the porch. Faith Ford as Mom was so perfect too. I love everything about this movie!

    1. If you have DirecTV, it looks likes you can watch "Christmas in Mississippi" online by logging in to your account there. I'm still looking to see if there might be other sources, too. Amazon has several of the new Lifetime Christmas movies to watch via streaming video, but not this one, of course!

Happy New Year, Darlene!!! Blessings!!! Net

  9. At best, I thought “Christmas in Mississippi” was ok. While this movie had a good cast and gorgeous scenery, the overall pacing was a bit slower than other Christmas movies I saw in the 2017 Christmas season. Also, I felt there were too many storylines within this film. Both Jana Kramer and Wes Brown are good actors, but their on-screen chemistry wasn’t as strong compared to other on-screen couples (example: Bethany Joy Lenz and Andrew Walker’s on-screen chemistry in “Snowed-Inn Christmas”).

    1. Andrew Walker was big eye candy in Snowed-Inn but his acting was not as good as Wes Brown in the romantic male lead. I thought the chemistry in this movie was very good. I enjoyed both though :)
