via Up TV:

Brendan King is a foster kid who grew up on the wrong side of the law, graduating from five-finger discounts and fights on the playground to membership in a multi-racial gang. We meet Brendan as he is paroled after serving three years in prison and moving in with his new foster parents, Mike and Vanessa Stubbs, who are still reeling from the death of their own son. Brendan, determined to keep things on track, starts high school where he falls for popular Natalie, the student council president with struggles of her own. All seems to be going well until the gang comes back looking for him and he is forced into a decision that could change his life once again.
