BURBANK, CA – October 12, 2026 –– Jaeger (Parenthood, The Handmaid’s Tale, October Kiss) and Ariel Winter (Modern Family, Sofia the First) are series regulars, alongside Rachel Boston (The More the Merrier, Witches of East End, American Dreams), Julie Gonzalo (Supergirl, Dallas) and Kevin Vidal (Workin' Moms, Culprits and the Canadian Premiere cast of Come From Away).

"Great television starts with exceptional storytelling, and finding the right cast to bring those stories to the screen is just as important. We are beyond excited about the talented, seasoned actors bringing Change of Heart to life,” remarked Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming, Hallmark Media. “Sam, Ariel, Rachel, Julie and Kevin each bring something unique to these richly drawn characters, creating the foundation for a series that will immediately connect with the audience. As Hallmark+ continues to grow its slate of successful original programming, on the heels of standout series like Hope Valley: 1874 and Paris Is Always a Good Idea, Change of Heart underscores our commitment to delivering the heartfelt, premium storytelling that viewers come to Hallmark+ to discover and return to watch week after week."

“We’re excited to build on our longstanding Hallmark partnership with Change of Heart, following the success of The Way Home. We look forward to bringing audiences a fresh, character-driven series with humor, heart, and a distinct point of view,” said Hannah Pillemer, Head of Scripted, FOX Entertainment Studios. “Sam and Ariel lead a terrific ensemble in a world of unexpected connections, the kind of storytelling we champion at FOX Entertainment Studios.”

"It’s incredibly rewarding to see an original idea we’ve developed over several years coming to life with such an exceptional team,” remarked Liz Cohen, Keshet Studios' EVP of Scripted. “Sam and Ariel are perfect for Charlie and Brit, bringing warmth, humor and heart to two characters we’ve grown to love. We’re thrilled to be working with Hallmark and Fox to bring this funny, hopeful story about human connection to audiences.”

Charlie Wyatt (Jaeger) is the most unlikely of romantic heroes: a renowned divorce attorney known for winning no matter the cost. When a life-altering heart transplant cracks something wide open inside him, Charlie finds himself pulled— almost against his will—toward a more hopeful way of moving through the world. One where he's compelled to help others find their way back to each other in ways he can't explain. And alongside it all is his younger sister, Brit (Winter). An unexpected anchor, and partner-in-matchmaking that represents the emotional truth Charlie can’t out-argue: that love isn’t something you win or lose, but something you deserve and choose.

As previously announced, Change of Heart is set to premiere in 2027, exclusively on Hallmark+. Jonny Umansky is Creator and Executive Producer and Erin Gibson (The Chicken Sisters) serving as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Keshet Studios’ Liz Cohen and Keren Shahar also serve as executive producers on the series, alongside Peter Traugott and Heather Brewster. Change of Heart is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios and FOX Entertainment Global will distribute the series internationally.

******** End of Press Release ********

What do you think of the storyline for this series? I think it sounds potentially interesting. I also think it was somewhat surprising (but in a good way) to see that Sam Jaeger will be the actor starring in this series - especially since we haven't seen him on Hallmark for over ten years!!!

I will look forward to hearing more details on this series and seeing a trailer.

Happy watching!
