Christmas in July is that special time when we start getting exciting sneak peeks of the upcoming Christmas season!
Since Christmas in July began yesterday on Great American Family, the network has shown previews for several of their movies, so I wanted to share those with you - along with other behind-the-scenes videos I hope you'll enjoy!
Plus, Great American Family has revealed premiere dates for some of their most anticipated Christmas movies, including Silver Bells at Christmas, Sweet Christmas Anniversary, A Christmas Prayer II, and more!
And more great news... Great American Family is stating in their promos that we can expect 18 new Christmas movies this upcoming 2026 holiday season!

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that I had to remind it several times to get the dates. Then I said what I am doing I knew you will have it seen and post it soon. I am getting so excited about Great American a Christmas. I have 4 more titles for movies that I am seeing might be for GAF. But until I am sure I will, not say.
ReplyDeleteLooks like GAF is doing their job in trying to get some better actors in their movies. A couple of years ago some of the performances were almost painful to watch. Now, they need to work on the quality of their scripts. Much of the dialogue is wooden in their movies and they need to push away from the "formula" a bit more like HAllmark is trying to do on occasion. IMHO. Keith
ReplyDeleteThe music in that one promo video above, "Great American Christmas Premiere Dates Revealed", gives me some serious Christmas Jingle Tingles! It reminds me of the interlude music that Frndly TV played on their holiday music channel during Christmas time. Jingle Jane knows what I mean. I hope that she is okay.
ReplyDeleteI hope that GAF kicks off their new Christmas movies sometime in mid-October like they did the last two years. Last year it started on October 11th.

ReplyDeleteI promise I didn't write that comment lol, but I did see it today & love that someone from their book club (guessing) posted that. It tells me that whomever that person is enjoyed my book...at least I hope. Haha. Thank you for mentioning the interest! If they did, it would be next year, but so far they haven't reached out. I was told they were going to do a poll of the book club members at the end of the year to pick a book to adapt, but now they've switched to a CS Lewis book that isn't something they'd adapt nor holiday-- for July, so I'm not sure. :)

ReplyDeleteJonathan Stoddard is giving Christopher Russell a run for his money on who can do more Christmas movies in one year EVERY year lol. It seems like every other movie has these two actors staring as the male lead.
ReplyDeleteJim, You made me laugh out loud... that is so true! I don't think Christopher does as many as he used to, though, but yeah, Jonathan Stoddard is in a lot!!!!! He's also filmed another Royal Christmas movie this year... but I'm not sure if GAF will pick that one up.
DeleteLOL Net! I guess you can't blame him. You have to get that BAG while it lasts. The other thing that kind of freaks me out about him is when he bounces back and forth from a British English accent to an American English accent lol. This is probably my own issue, but it seems that his whole persona changes. I mean even physically. He sometimes looks totally different to me depending on the accent that he is using. I remember one time I was watching this movie that he was in and I wasn't sure if it was him. I had to actually look up the actors to see that it was him. I could tell that it was him, but he just physically looked so different. When he does the British accent, it seems like he is focusing on it so much to get it right that it changes his facial appearance. He seems so uptight like he has constipation lol. When he does his normal comfortable American type of accent, he is Fonzi cool and smoooove and it shows in his appearance. I don't know, I'm just a weirdo I guess haha. I don't mean this as a negative on him though. He does a real good job.
