I hope you'll discover a new movie you will enjoy this March! It's nice to see Jen Lilley will be in a new rom-com, but it will be different to see her on Hallmark again. She'll be reuniting in this new royal-themed movie with Dan Jeannotte. Their first movie together was Paris, Wine & Romance in 2019.
It's also fun to see the new mysteries coming in March! I hope there will be many sleuthing opportunities throughout the year!

Looking forward to the return of Dan Jeannotte who was missing at Christmas and wondering how he and Jen Lilley will pair up, it's a long time since tghey starred together.
Will Jen's A Chrismystery ever show up on Cable but I saw a brilliant Rom.Com recently on UP Faith and Family starring Dan J and Stephanie Bennett - A Change In Heart - one of the bigger players should have picked it up Florence
Florence, Hope you'll enjoy the two new rom-coms! I agree... it will be interesting to see Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte together again. It's been 6 years since their first movie, and if you look closely in that one, Jen is expecting her older daughter, Julie!

DeleteKind of disappointing. I like Jen Lilley, but I don’t like that’s she’s back with Hallmark. It’s not like they’ve changed their stance. I prefer those who remain true to clean family entertainment like GAF offers.

ReplyDeleteJust because she has made one movie for hallmark does not mean she is back with hallmark. It means someone offered her a movie and she accepted.

ReplyDeleteThey didn't produce this movie - it's acquired from Hideaway Pictures which works mainly with the Motion Picture Corporation of America on a low budget.

This makes a lot of sense because I follow her on Instagram and I don’t think she has said anything about being back with Hallmark! She usually either shares in her stories or in a post about her movies almost immediately after they are announced and I don’t remember her posting anything so far.
DeleteMPCA used to make 80% of Hallmark's movies (Brad Krevoy). They make WCTH...they are not low budget. Hideaway is really just the production facility so David Anselmo gets producer credits also due to his deal with MPCA. MPCA made most of GAF's movies that weren't acquired until they seemingly stopped working with them outside of WHC. This movie with Jen & Dan was likely made to be acquired, though, but their stuff has typically been going to Hulu & The CW picked up a Christmas movie they made with Jen & Nick Bateman in 2024 as far as network TV goes (it went to Hulu also). Renovation Romance with Daniel L & Jessica Lowndes was also made by them & picked up by Hulu. They have focused on Netflix, Hulu, etc. more as of the last few years. Hallmark did pick up their Christmas movie with Rhiannon & Ben from WCTH, although most said it was terrible. I didn't watch that one, so I can't say. Now, MPCA makes lower budget movies since GAF has had little to give to partner with them in the past but when Hallmark gave them bigger budgets, they produced the likes of Crossword Mysteries, My Secret Valentine, Winter Love Story, I think...I mean literally over half of the content before 2020.
DeleteI’m excited for more mystery movies!! But are they playing on regular hallmark? Thinking I may need to cancel the HMM channel after no “miracles of Christmas” last year and if the new mysteries are on the regular channel!
