  5. I dunno about the rest of you, but there is definitely rumblings of change at Hallmark!

1st they cancel The Way Home, throw Ripple to Netflix, and now they announce that Lori is coming back to WCTH in Season 14?!

Are we starting to see a course correction shift here?! -Maria

  6. Speaking of music, does anyone else enjoy that interlude music that Frndly TV plays on the Holidayscapes channel as much as I do? They will play a few regular Christmas songs and then play the interlude type music. They play it quite often. I absolutely love that song. It seems to touch my soul. I have no idea what song it is if any. You can hear the sleigh bells ringing in the music.

    1. Jim, I think of you whenever I have that Holidayscapes channel playing in the background (which is often)! And, yes, I like the interlude music. I find it to be a cross between sweet, haunting, evocative, nostalgic, melancholy and wistful. So, if I'm in a sad mood, I should probably change the channel because it might make me cry. LOL!! And here's another weird thing: the music on the Accuweather channel (when they're showing just the maps and weather for the whole country without a meteorologist talking) kind of gives me a similar, oddly sentimental and misty feeling. Yes, I know I'm peculiar!! Hah! ~~Jane

    2. Oh, my Jane! I think we are soulmates lol. Those are the exact type of words I would use to describe that interlude music. Those are words that I use a LOT to describe things like this. Those combo of words are what I have tried to convey to other people in describing such things that move me like this music or other things that move my soul. Most people just don't get it or understand my craziness. You GET it! You GET me! haha. You know it when you see it or hear it or feel it. It is a mix of those great words you used to describe it perfectly. You are so right in that things that combine all those words will make me cry and I may have to turn it off when my soul is feeling very vulnerable at the time. The mix of those words can make it sooooo beautiful and moving emotionally on whatever it is whether it be music or Christmas or something else, but that same mix given the right or wrong time can destroy me. I too am very peculiar my friend.

    3. Also Jane, I too listen to Holidayscapes quite often. I turn it on a lot of the time JUST to hear that interlude music so I can drift into nostalgic melancholy land.

  7. One more thing Jane haha..."oddly sentimental and misty"...YES YES & YES!! I get that great description at times...I know it when I get it and I try to describe it in words to others but usually can't but that is close to what I try to tell them. It's something that penetrates my soul very deeply when it happens and it can bring me to my knees when my heart is weak like RIGHT after the Christmas season is over. Like if I listened to that Holidayscape interlude music on Jan. 2nd or even the Charlie Brown Christmas music I am DONE!!! The sentimental nostalgic feeling cripples me haha but at same time I LOVE that feeling in some really weird whacko way...I guess it is because my emotions are alive and screaming. So, it is a mix of hating it and loving it all at the same time. Okay, I need to stop talking.
