Just wanted to share another quick reminder...

Episode 1 - A New Beginning - 6pm/5c :
A lawyer arrives in a small town and uncovers family ties while a new Mountie helps the community. Meanwhile, a gold prospector reconnects with loved ones during a family visit.
Episode 2 - So Long, Not Goodbye - 7pm/6c :
Nora and Charlotte search for a lost foal, while Maggie considers her feelings for Sam with a special birthday surprise from her parents.
Episode 3 - Finding Our Way - 8pm/7c :
A Mountie assists in bringing a new girl to the orphanage. A woman arrives in town to sell her uncle's ranch while another explores life as a rancher.
Episode 4 - The Truth Shall Set You Free - 9pm/8c :
A new orphan arrives and needs help fitting in. Baking creates challenges for one character while an auction takes place. A visitor from the past surprises another.
Episode 5 - Bringing to Light - 10pm/9c :
Nora and Mountie Fletcher track down a dubious claim. Hannah and Wyatt have a tough decision to make. Maggie tends to the orphans. Trouble brews for the ranchers.
Episode 6 - Season of Change - 11pm/10c :
The town celebrates. Love blooms. The Mounties and ranchers team up to protect the ranchers' livelihood.
Programming Note: The episodes will all repeat all over again in order from 12am/11c to 6am/5c.

ReplyDeleteWHC gives me S1 vibes of WCTH when I see the posters and previews. Did you see that connection when you watched it?
ReplyDeleteAbigail, Yes! I do get some familiar feels from WCTH every so often when I'm watching, mostly due to the era and the Mounties.
DeleteHowever, When Hope Calls has a distinct feel to it, as well. The setting and time period somehow seem truer to the time period. There's still no telephone in Brookfield, no running water, electricity, etc... In one scene, Sam starts to take Maggie's hand, but quickly backs off and apologizes for being too forward. That scene always touches me. What a contrast to today with the way people act with physical contact. There's such a deeper respect from men towards woman in that time period.
Knowing how much you've enjoyed WCTH lately, Abigail, I feel fairly certain that you would enjoy this show, as well.
I will watching and dvring too. Hoping for a season 3 announcement. Now this could be for anything but Trevor Donovan tweeted Monday that there is some exciting news coming possibly this week, So maybe When Hope Calls season 3 announcement with him in a recurring or series role. We will have to wait and see.

I love the series. Its high quality entertainment which is hard to find in today's broadcasting So heart warming and inspiring. I hope it continues with season 3. Watching the marathon and truly enjoying it.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That Season 2 finale was not what I was expecting! Both my husband and I screamed "No" at the TV when it ended! Not cool! Like you said in another post "We have to have a Season 3 with a cliffhanger like that!".
"When Hope Calls" is such a sweet, endearing and wholesome show and we want to experience more. Seriously, Season 2 was way too short and if this amazing show returns for another season, I pray we get at least 10 episodes. My husband told me yesterday that he is already more invested in "WHC" than he is in "WCTH" even with the quality of Season 12 that just ended on Hallmark. We both really enjoyed this past season of "WCTH" but honestly I have to agree with him.
Anyway, I wanted to close out my post by asking for prayers from our lovely community here. We are looking at some severe weather in KY Friday afternoon into Friday evening. It could be really bad from what forecasters are saying. :-( Apparently those folks who don't normally get concerned are really concerned this time.

DeleteMy hope is the entire cast will return if we have a season 3 of WHC. This series is the best of them all. These actors are perfectly matched. Plus, the story line flows like it should. I love WHC!
