Recap of Great American Family's Latest Facebook Live Event hosted by Cameron Mathison

If you haven't seen it yet or don't have a Facebook account, I wanted to share the recent Great American Family Facebook Live Event video with you all (check it out below)!

Highlights from the Event:

🎬 Cameron Mathison was the host once again, this time chatting with actress Sarah Fisher, known for her roles in Someone Like You and the upcoming second season of When Hope Calls. They shared some exciting promos for both shows, and here's a little spoiler: it seems Sarah's character might have a romantic connection with Nick Bateman in When Hope Calls!

🎬  Writer Karen Kingsbury also joined in on the conversation with Sarah Fisher for the movie Somone Like You, which is based on her book of the same title. The film will premiere this Saturday, February 22nd, on Great American Family.

🎬  County Rescue cast members Julia Reilly, Brett Varvel, Kristin Wollett, Riley Hough, and Shari Rigby were also there to discuss the new season, set to debut this Sunday, February 23rd.

🎬  Cameron brought up again towards the end that he and Candace Cameron Bure are working on a sequel to their Christmas film, Home Sweet Christmas, set to be released during the 2025 holiday season. He also mentioned that he just got the script.

🎬  As the event wrapped up, Cameron enthusiastically announced that the next GAF Facebook Live Event is set for March and will feature some of the cast from When Hope Calls! He mentioned they have something special in the works, but he couldn't share any specifics just yet. What a way to leave us in suspense, right?

Well, I hope you enjoy the video below; it's around 1 hour and 30 minutes long, but you can also fast-forward through some, if you like. Be sure to look for the fantastic promos throughout. (I included the sneak peek separately of When Hope Calls below.)

I thought this was a great way to share the upcoming programming at Great American Family. Having Cameron Mathison host once again made this feel like the good old days of Home & Family.

Would love to know your thoughts on it, too.

Blessings,
Net

  1. I love that GAF is starting to do these kind of things more often now. Hallmark is always doing these things and their fans love them.

And aw, I hope 1 day GAF is able to make a version of Home and Family! Hallmark never should've ditched that show. -Maria

  3. Thank you so much for the Facebook overview. I don’t use Facebook, so this was a treat. Maybe it will be up on YouTube - ?.

Cameron Mathison is so engaging and pleasant when he is a host or interviewer. GAF has some great talents and Cameron is at the top of the list.

Very happy to hear that Candace & Cameron will be doing another Christmas movie. They are so in tuned to one another as actors. I wish Cameron would be in CCB’s Mystery Series as the firefighter with an interest in CCB’s character. I just can’t get any connection with the actor they have playing the part now. Sorry.
    Stay warm and safe.

    1. Gabe's Mom, Nice to hear from you! I tried the first video above from a computer that I'm not logged into Facebook with, and it played perfectly. You just have to click the arrow play button. Also, you may to advance the video... because it takes a few minutes to start.

And you are so right, Cameron was a wonderful, engaging host, as always. It felt so much like Home & Family watching this! :)
