May we all take time to cherish the greatest love of all... God's love!
God's love is always there, providing comfort and strength no matter what we're going through. God's love for you never wavers. His unwavering love encourages us to come closer, find peace in His grace, and rely on His faithfulness, especially when life gets challenging or confusing.
As children of God, we may not fully grasp the depth of His love, which led Him to pay the ultimate price, sacrificing His Son, Jesus, just to restore a relationship with us.
May your heart embrace His amazing love today, and trust that His mercy and care are endless. Know with great confidence that you are His beloved.
Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteTaking a movie break this weekend. -Maria
Wow, who knew so many old romcoms are airing this weekend. Thanks for the long list!
ReplyDeleteIm probably one of the few that hasn’t seen For Love of Chocolate, so I’ll be watching that.
My wife and I haven’t seen it either. Robert
DeleteAllie B & Robert,
DeleteI hope you both enjoyed it! :)
I’m watching When Calls the Heart Sunday night. I’m curious to see what song Elizabeth & Nathan will end up singing.
ReplyDeleteAlso Net, I really like the scripture above and the message about God’s love. It’s easy these days to feel lost in the crowd, but nice to remember how special I am to God.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and everyone here! Christie
Christie, Hope you liked the episode. I thought the song, "You Made Me Love You," was really perfect for them. Their uncertainty as they took the stage was super cute, but they nailed it perfectly!
DeleteAlso, so glad you liked the scripture. God's love for us is truly amazing! ❤️
Hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day weekend, as well!
Such a wonderful comment about God's love, Net! I was going to say something similar, but mine would not have been nearly as beautiful as yours! And let us also remember that we are called to love God and to love each other. So in that spirit, I want to wish all of you a Happy Valentine's Day and know that you are all in my heart!
ReplyDeleteMark 25, You expressed that perfectly! I really appreciate how you consistently share the love of Christ so openly and beautifully with everyone here!
DeleteBlessings to you, my friend! Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend! :)
What a wonderful verse Net!! Thank you for sharing that. I love to sing that verse in praise. Happy Valentine’s Day my friends. May your day be filled with joy and love that comes from our Father.
ReplyDeleteAbigail, Oh yes... that song ("Great is Thy Faithfulness) is so beautiful, one of my favorite hymns. Blessings & Love to you, as well, from God above!!! :)
DeleteOoh! That is a wonderful hymn too Net! But actually I was thinking of the worship song “The Steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.” I love it when my church sings it a cappella after communion or baptism.
DeleteHey everyone ππ»
ReplyDeleteLove your scripture Net! Everyday we all wake up is another blessing and another example of God’s love for us. I will be tuning in to the GAF and Hallmark movie. It’s been so hard to sit down and watch these new movies, so I have so many recorded waiting to be started. The year is just flying by, it’s almost March, craziness! Have a blessed weekend everyone!
~Paula
Paula, I know just what you mean; I'm still catching up with the new movies, little by little. I'm with you in thinking how can we be so close to March already. It is truly crazy, but we've been having dangerously cold temps again, so I'm eager for any sign of Spring! :)
DeleteHope you enjoyed your ❤️ weekend!
lots of great movies

Great American Family but it’s on Great American PureFlix
Love the Bible verse Net! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. It's our anniversary too! Not going to say how many years(It's a lot) cause I will date myself! Lol!!
ReplyDeleteFor anyone wanting to see For the Love of Chocolate and do not have GAF it's streaming on Prime too. We recently ditched DirectV because the cost keeps rising and I lost GAF. But, they are offering a great deal right now and I signed up for Pure Flix. Happy I get to still see content from GAF.
Joyce, Happy Anniversary & Valentine's Weekend!!! How Special!!! Hope you found time to look back on all your sweet memories together!
DeleteAs for DirecTV... we have had that as our cable provider for years, and we keep talking about getting rid of it because of the high price. And I would be fine with that, because we have Frndly, but then there's the news and sports stations we like on DirecTV and all, so we keep holding on to it. Have you, by chance, found less expensive alternatives for those?
I love that Pure Flix has most of the movies airing on GAF; with more and more people streaming that makes a lot of sense.
Thank you Net!!
DeleteAs for dropping DirecTV we went with Youtube TV. It has all of our local channels and several ESPN channels too. We lost GAF and UPTV but they were basically the only ones that we watch we lost. We are liking it so far!
Joyce, Thank you for the tip! I will definitely look into that. The price for DirecTV is so ridiculously high.
DeleteIn case you're interested, Frndly offers both GAF and UPtv, plus all three Hallmark channels, Lifetime (which is nice at Christmas), and PixL. I love Frndly sooo much, I don't know what I'd do without it now, especially at Christmastime! :)
I’m in the middle of WCTH right now and so far it’s great. Rosemary is so funny whenever Ava is around and she does NOT want her involved in her play. And Bill is so funny with that accent.
ReplyDeleteAlso, praying for anyone here that got hit with the flooding, ice, snow mix storms this last weekend. And for the southern states that had tornado weather.
Abigail. I hope you enjoyed the new episode! Wasn't that song fun with Elizabeth & Nathan, AKA... Diane and Danny DiMarco???
DeleteI really enjoyed Pastor Joseph singing "Every Time I Feel the Spirit," while he and Henry were working in the church. Those spiritual moments hold such deep significance. I was really hoping Henry would join in or perhaps stroll away humming the tune, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. However, seeing the sparkle in his eyes and his warm smile made me feel like the words really resonated with him... sinking into his spirit.
Also, I saw the flooding in Kentucky and Tennessee... the devastation and loss of life is heartbreaking. Praying with you, honey... so much bad weather everywhere.
Thank you Net, we are safe. But we are expecting more this week.
DeleteAww! Yes!!! I loved them singing their love song! They were sooo good! I wasn’t a fan of the crowd though, too much partying and drinking. But the two of them were undercover at a gangster’s house. But now we know why Elizabeth had a ring on her left finger! No that they played a married couple, maybe they’ll think about it for real now. I can’t wait for the day Allie calls Elizabeth mom.
Also the Fiona and Mae scene was so touching , almost made me cry and I laughed when Rosemary was jealous of Ava!
Abigail, So glad to know you and your family are safe from the storms. I'll be thinking of you all as more comes your way this week. As we ease closer to spring, we'll be seeing more of this. One of the downfalls of spring, I suppose... it's like the thorns with the roses.
DeleteBy the way, I really liked your recap of WCTH! So many good moments, but yeah, the drinking at the party wasn't my cup of tea, either. I loved the moment when they showed Elizabeth quickly pouring her beverage into that poor plant. The expressions on both her and Nathan's faces were priceless.
And yes, I loved the Rosemary and Ava play drama! I can't imagine what will happen next week when everyone gets sick. As Ava was acting more like Rosemary... I was thinking... isn't she supposed to be emulating Elizabeth? And then Rosemary said to Elizabeth later on, Ava's supposed to be your doppelganger not mine. I laughed out loud at that moment and thought... exactly!!! She's quite the interesting character, anyway. :)
Haha, yes! I loved Rosemary’s comment about Ava being too dramatic!! Sound like anybody we know ? I’ll be rewatching the episode today, I normally do on Wednesdays.
DeleteAnd thank you for praying, I woke up this morning to bright snow. I’m not a go out in the cold girl, but my family loves it so I’m happy for them. God kept us save during the wind storms last night. Thank you again for praying. I’m doing the same for you!
Joan, how are you doing with your winter mix? I heard you got some flooding too??
Hi Abigail,
DeleteAw! You are so sweet for thinking about me. :-) I am so glad you all were okay. I meant to mention that and forgot. Thankfully personally we were not impacted by any flooding. My son's best friend ended up with six inches in his basement. Louisville did have some flooding near the river and in some of our city parks where creeks run through. But, Louisville was lucky compared to other areas in my home state. It broke my heart seeing all of the flooding in Southern and Eastern Kentucky. I am, however, so over this winter weather. It was crazy experiencing so much heavy rain on Saturday evening and then on Sunday we had heavy snow the next morning!
Hi everyone! "Return to Office" was all kinds of cute. :-) Yes, the plotline has been done before in two of my all time favorite movies "The Shop Around the Corner" which, by the way, we watch every Christmas and "You've Got Mail". But, we really enjoyed this sweet movie. I did not like their boss but I liked everything else about it. Great Chemistry between the leads; interesting secondary characters and a relevant storyline. I also work in Corporate America and my company we are required to adhere to a hybrid schedule. We don't share desks but we all have to be in the office three days a week unless the weather is bad as it has been recently in my hometown. I am much happier working remotely. Anyway, enough about me! My husband and I will be watching WCTH tonight and the GAF movie tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteJoan, Thank you so much for sharing this delightful review for "Return to Office"!
DeleteI thought the promo sounded like "The Shop Around the Corner." Thank you for confirming this. We usually watch that Jimmy Stewart classic every Christmas, too. Have you also seen the remake version with Judy Garland and Van Johnson, 'In the Good Ole Summertime'? That one is also excellent, and I love the addition of the music in it.
Anyway, so thankful you shared this wonderful review of "Return to Office" with us. I enjoyed hearing how you can relate to the movie with your own work situation and all.
Hope you also enjoyed WCTH! :)
Hi Net,
DeleteYou are welcome. I forgot to mention how much I liked Janel's clothing. She looked amazing. Glad to hear you usually watch "The Shop Around the Corner" every Christmas. It is a delightful movie. :-) I haven't seen "In the Good Ole Summertime". I guess I need to check it out. Thanks for letting me know.
And, I did enjoy WCTH!! :-) You already posted my review. YAY!
Return To Office is getting pretty good reviews all round - Florence

Liv volunteers at Senior Center, she meets Judie is Tom’s Mother & Lori as they’re doing quilts. Judie tells Liv about her Son; Thomas. Tom is nicknamed for Thomas. Liv or Livvy is nicknamed for Olivia. Ms. Monday is more like Joe Fox & Mr. Us more like Kathleen Kelly gonna meet each other at Enclave Restaurant. Tom is Mr. Tuesday follows the arrows in notepads & waiter when he finds out Ms. Monday is Liv at Enclave Restaurant.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteAs much as we wanted to love "For the Love of Chocolate" we only watched about fifteen minutes and ended up deleting the movie. I so love Jesse and Rhiannon but not in this movie. We were bored and could not get into the movie at all. So sad!
However, on the other hand, WCTH continues to impress us this season. Like Abigail, I did not enjoy all of the partying and drinking. But, I did enjoy the scene where Elizabeth and Nathan sang. Erin has an absolutely gorgeous voice. Nathan's singing was okay but I still loved him in that scene. Oh boy Pastor Joseph has a beautiful voice and Fiona scenes were heartbreaking. She really is a good actress. Next week's episode looks great!
