It's official! Candace Cameron Bure, who has often been called: the Queen of Christmas movies, will be starring in "A Christmas… Present" on Great American Family this November! Candace will not only be starring in this film, but she will producing it and other holiday movies for Great American Family, as well, with Candy Rock Entertainment.
This is Great American Family's second Christmas movie season, Great American Christmas, and Candace's first movie with the network.

NEW YORK, NY – September 13, 2022 – Great American Family today announced Candace Cameron Bure is set to star in and executive produce A Christmas…Present, premiering on the network in November 2022. Conceived and developed through her Candy Rock Entertainment venture, A Christmas…Present marks Bure’s first project with Great American Media since signing with the company to develop, produce and star in movies and television across Great American Family and Great American Living. “Candy Rock Entertainment’s mission is to bring to life compelling stories that the entire family can enjoy while feeling a sense of togetherness and connection,” said Bure. “I’m so proud of the first of these projects because they are exactly that.” Bure continued. The new film will be part of Great American Christmas, the network’s holiday programming franchise which returns on October 21 with a new slate of original holiday movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday and Christmas movies all day and all night through the end of 2022.

In A Christmas…Present, Bure plays Maggie Larson, an overly scheduled real estate agent and Type-A mom who takes her family to spend Christmas with her widowed brother and his daughter. Maggie and her brother have decidedly different expectations for the holiday. Through a series of transformative events, Maggie learns to embrace the reason for the season.
Candace Cameron Bure, Jeffery Brooks, Ford Englerth and Gerald Webb are producing the project on behalf of Candy Rock Entertainment. Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarboe, Amanda Phillips, Amy Krell, Lorenzo Nardini, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, and Jimmy Townsend are executive producers. Brent Ryan Green produces. Michael Shepard and Bradley M. Goodman are supervising producers.

My *Quick* Take:
I am delighted to share this news with you all today on Candace's upcoming Christmas movie project with Great American Family! Most of all, I'm so happy this movie will have a faith element. For me, personally, I feel like the true meaning of Christmas has been missing greatly in these recent Christmas TV movies, that often focus more on the romance side of the story. I think it's beautiful that Candace's character, Maggie, will "embrace the reason for the season!"
No details were given, yet, on Candace's co-star or supporting cast. So, we will look forward to hearing more when Great American Media releases that information.
