💕 "Prescription for Love: A Cinderella Story is a sweet, delightful, wholesome romantic-comedy. Trevor Donovan portrays handsome Dr. Luke Taylor, who is used to women constantly flirting with him at work. When Luke attends an event and finds himself stuck in a rather dark elevator, he meets a nice woman who is easy to talk to and makes their unexpected time together actually fun. He never gets her name or truly sees her face, so he has no idea who she is. The woman, Claire Abbott (played by Jillian Murray, "Christmas in the Pines"), however, does catch a glimpse of Luke, before being pulled away by her friend.
When Claire, who is a nurse, ends up seeing Dr. Luke Taylor the next day, on his very first day at work, she attempts to tell him who she is, but he interrupts and shares that he’s against fraternizing at work, so she keeps their elevator experience to herself. It’s very interesting to see the two interact at the hospital- as he’s still thinking of the mystery woman in the elevator and searching for her, yet it’s obvious he’s beginning to have feelings for Claire, as well. Luke's search to find the mystery elevator woman ends up being quite amusing.
Besides the two leads, there are several other fascinating, intriguing characters: the friendly hospital janitor, the horribly mean hospital staff, and the unique hospital patients- who I just loved, especially when they meddled into Luke and Claire‘s love life. I truly enjoyed this movie, except one minor thing- the misunderstanding at the end was rather annoying, but even with that, I recommend watching it. The ending is very sweet. "Prescription for Love" is family friendly, just the right dose of romance and comedy!" ~Net
💕 "It's a good while since I saw Prescription For Love but from what I remember it was an okay movie for me. I recall Trevor Donovan's character being rather nasty to the heroine at times and the workplace being rather unrealistic - I wouldn't have put up withe the Head Nurse but it wasn't bad. It Will be interesting to see what others here think." - Florence
💕 "I love Prescription For Love, I've watched it at least twice on Streaming. It is family friendly and very very good. I don't think I've ever seen the other one but looks good." ~Clara
💕 "Prescription For Love... Love modern Cinderella films! I saw this on prime video last year and really enjoyed it. 100% clean and family friendly. Trevor is great in this. Love all his films." ~Abigail
💕 "Prescription for Love: A Cinderella Story is family friendly. It’s about a modern Cinderella Story. Claire is a nurse who fights for a chance at love with a charming new doctor & for a promotion to free herself from the misery her supervisor creates. Claire’s life as a nurse in a busy hospital is complicated by a supervisor who is intent on making her miserable with tedious and extra tasks. Claire’s only relief is the patients she treats, and even that is not always a picnic. On a rare night off, she attends a dance performance for her Sister & gets trapped in an elevator with a charming man. There is an instant connection between them, but as they are “rescued” from the elevator, they are pulled away from each other before they can exchange names and numbers. The next day, Claire meets the man again when he is presented as the newest doctor at the hospital. But he doesn’t recognize her in her hospital scrubs and pushes away her attempts to reconnect. Claire is convinced that he isn’t interested. But as she works with him, she can’t ignore her feelings. Meanwhile, the doctor is torn between his developing feelings for Claire and the fond memory of the woman in the elevator. Despite the efforts of some to thwart her, Claire must find the strength to stand up for herself and go after what she wants and deserves: her own chance at happiness." ~Anonymous

Movie Review:
💕 "Just Add Love (New Title: A Taste of Tuscany) - It's always difficult to review an upcoming movie as you don't want to give away anything which might spoil someone's enjoyment of it. I've been a fan of Laura Mitchell since first noticing her in Blueprint To The Heart with Dennis Andres. Glad to report it is family-friendly although there is one scene where they spend the night together in the same bedroom although it is all entirely innocent.
Basically April is a chef whose healthy style of cooking is falling out of favour and she goes to Italy to see if their famous cuisine can inspire her recipes - there she meets Rob an aspiring chef. Now the plot was quite novel and had possibilities, April and Rob, played by Brad Johnson whom I hadn't seen before, were good on screen together and it was heartwarming and gentle but the chemistry definitely needed a lot more sizzle.
Scott Christopher who played April's Uncle Derek whom she stayed with was very good - I loved the expressions he was trying to hide as he tasted her recipes!
This could have been really good with a bit more pizazz. It's the sort of movie which would be suitable for watching on a rainy afternoon. Worth one watch, if it was airing again and I was at a loose end I would have no objections to re-watching it." Florence's rating - 6.
💕 "A Taste of Tuscany was very sweet. I highly recommend, especially for foodies. ~Allie B
💕 "A Taste of Tuscany – is very family-friendly! I really enjoyed seeing April connect with her Uncle Derek in Italy and how her visit affected them both. It was especially fun to watch him try April’s healthy food options, which were often an epic fail. The romance between April and her tour guide, Robert, was also very sweet. I will look forward to a second helping of this movie on Great American Family. ~Net
💕 "A Taste of Tuscany is family friendly. April Meyers is a healthy chef for her own recipes for her cookbook. Her recipes are missing ingredients for flavors by feedback by food critics. April’s family lives in Italy 🇮🇹 expect for her Uncle Derek. April meets others for culinary tour lead by Roberto Crowley. April & Robert cooking together unless Derek tries to taste Robert & April’s dishes & it’s barely delicious. A resturant owner allows 2 new chefs; Rob Crowley & April Meyers back home in New York in her Restaurant. April & Rob cooking their food collaborator together. April takes credits of culinary from Roberto Crowley but the Restaurant owner needs 2 chefs named Rob Crowley & April Meyers when she has her own Restaurant for Grand Opeming. ~Anonymous
