Congratulations to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Truth Be Told" and "The Impossible Dream" for taking first place! (Note: These are two separate "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies with a continuing story.) The incredible expression of courageous devotion to our country and the promise of leaving no soldier behind are boldly demonstrated throughout both films. My heart is always filled with patriotic pride and my eyes are always brimming with tears of joy when these movies come to an end with a positive, heartwarming conclusion. This is a phenomenal choice for 1st place. Congrats, again, to the cast, creators, crew, etc... and ALL the POstables who voted!
All of the other patriotic movies mentioned above made the Top Ten list and like "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," they too are wonderful films that honor our country and military heroes.
Look for Hallmark's newest patriotic movie, My Grown-Up Christmas List, starring Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry, premiering this weekend on Saturday, July 9, 2022 during the Hallmark Channel's Christmas in July!
Thank you, again, for participating in this Patriotic Movie poll!

So do NOT like the Christmas Card
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? Everyone I know loves that movie.
DeleteI loved those 2 SSD movies!! -Maria
ReplyDeleteYay! Love all of SSD!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that almost all were Christmas Movies. I guess we think
ReplyDeleteOf the sacrifice more at that time of year.
I LOVE The Christmas Card and I think they missed the boat by not doing a sequel where Cody and Faith are married and pregnant or have kids and take over the mill. And I LOVE ANY (clean) movie that Marc Blucas is in. My favorite is Season For Love. I wish he would be in a Fall themed movie soon. I originally wanted him to pair with Emilie Ullerup, but I am ok with any female actress at this point. LOL
ReplyDeleteJames Caan passed away at age 82
ReplyDeleteIt is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6," read a Thursday tweet from James Caan's official Twitter.
James stars in JL Ranch & JL Ranch: The Wedding Gift as Tap Peterson on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Yes, it was very sad news to learn of James Caan's passing. I thought he was great in JL Family Ranch with Jon Voight. Although, the sequel to that movie had kinks, as far as the storyline went, I'm glad the main characters in the end achieved redemption, forgiveness, and friendship.
DeletePrayers for his family and friends.
Hallmark didn’t put James Caan’s passing 1940-2022 on both IG when he starred in JL Family Ranch & Wedding
DeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteI have never been able to make sense of why if Faith has fallen in love with Cody she immediately jumps into getting engaged to Paul when he proposes - Florence
ReplyDeleteIs the Christmas Card based on a true story?
ReplyDeleteChris, Not to my knowledge. I believe it is a fictional story.
