Labor Day weekend is usually considered the last hurrah of Summer and a good time for cookouts, great deals, and more... even though Summer doesn't officially end until September 21st. It's the ideal time, although the weather is still warm, to pull out jackets and sweaters - because we know chillier weather will be coming soon.

I think we've all been keeping a close eye on the weather around our country this week. My prayers go out to those recently affected by the hurricanes, strong winds, heavy rainfall and flooded waters. It is so sad to see the loss of life and all of the devastation on the news. Please be safe out there everyone, especially those who are going back into flooded homes or cleaning up after wind damage.

Please note: I have seen "High Flying Romance" and it is very sweet and family friendly. You can read my full review - here. I have not pre-screened the other new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

Take care, everyone, and I hope many of you are able to enjoy this Labor Day weekend.

Blessings! Net

    1. Happy Labor Day weekend to you, as well.

I know just what you mean - "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" is always my favorite.

  3. POstables are so very grateful for the new SSD movie coming in October (FINALLY!!!), but also, we appreciate this marathon to allow new viewers to fall in love with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered". Each story is a gem with facets of mystery, but also love and hope, brought so beautifully to the screen by our four beloved postal detectives.

  6. Net...have you ever seen a DVD for Instant Nanny? We do not get UpTv in Canada. I have been looking for it for years!

    1. I love "Instant Nanny" - it is such a cute movie, and I wish they would put it on DVD, but it hasn't happened, yet. (that I know of.) I just double-checked a few sources. I think it's because it's currently available to watch through UP's Faith and Family Streaming Service. Hopefully they will release it one day.

    2. Can't help you Amanda on the DVD, but if you just want to watch it check YouTube.

  7. I LOVED so much watching the POstables yesterday. I love those shows and how the movies take so many things from the shows like Rita's book, they mention Steve. Love the wonderful military episodes and i just think the writing for this show and movies is so good. They do deal with sensitive subjects in these movies and show, it brings tears to my eyes a lot and then such happy times with the love all 4 of them share with each other. They really are a family.

I hope us POstables can watch the movie in October and get a lot of buzz going and the ratings up so high they will have to make more movies. I have no doubt we can get this to the highest rated movie on HMM this year, and I am even including Christmas that hasn't happened yet. I dont like watching HM new live anymore, not that i count in the ratings anyway, i dont want to give them the satisfaction, but i will for this movie and create a lot of buzz and I wont be tagging any of those people from hallmark in my tweets, just the actors, anyone associated with the movie, not hallmark, the #POstables, and thats it.

I did not record Journey of my heart, it looked like the entire movie was hiking to a place and while i do love hiking and nature, it just looked so blah to me.

I am looking forward to the HMM drama movies from now til Christmas. Since HM can't do any other mystery than murder, it is nice to see a change to back when HMM made regular movies like Irresistible BB Farm, JL Family Ranch, A Time to Dance, etc.

    1. Sabrina, Like you, I always get caught up in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathons and after they air, it's hard to watch anything else because nothing else quite compares. They are all so beautiful.

I did watch "Journey of my Heart," but it was hard for me to get into it. It just wasn't for me.

      I posted a review here:

    1. Chris, Looks like there isn't a repeat showing, yet, for this, but you never know - it could pop up again on the schedule sometime. You'll have to keep a look out for it.
