Always good to see a new Stephen Huszar movie and this is one which hasn't been on TV (outside Canada) before.
ReplyDeleteDashing Home For Christmas was on Lifetime last Christmas and I really enjoyed it - I'll have to look it out and re-watch - Florence
Dashing Home For Christmas looks like Lifetime but it was actually on Up-TV last year.
DeleteSorry - I've got mixed up - Florence
DeleteFlorence, Oh my goodness... I do the same thing. There are so many titles that are similar. I always have to look up the Time to Come Home movies - cause I never remember which one is which, and so on!
DeleteNice to see these new dvd releases, especially non-Hallmark. This makes me wonder if the new GAC movies will be released on dvd too?
ReplyDeleteYes, Anna, that would be great! I'm already hoping too, especially after getting a little hint on what's coming to GAC!
DeleteAt first I thought Christmas in the Pines was a movie from a few years ago but then I realized I was mixing it up with The Spruces & The Pines. not a great one, by the way. Good list.
ReplyDeletegood to hear. I only saw 2 of these movies.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas in the Smokies and I really enjoyed Dashing Home for Christmas last year.
ReplyDeleteNice set of DVDs.
ReplyDelete: Jillian Murray and Dean Geyer Are real life Husband & Wife
ReplyDeleteI notice Inspiration movies - Insp Films
ReplyDeleteAren’t those Christmas movies on Inspiration Channel?
Not sure, yet, if any of these will air this year on TV, but it is possible any of them could end up on INSP, or even UPtv! We will have to wait and see.
DeleteCool! Are they available on Amazon Video?
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, It doesn't look like they are on Prime Video, yet, except Christmas in the Smokies, since it's older.
DeleteWill you buy When calls the heart Christmas movies?
ReplyDeleteChris, Probably not since those movies are already in the WCTH season set.
DeleteI don't get why I can't buy the first movie, Romance In The Wilds, but can buy the sequel!
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, Exactly! They should've sold them together in a set. That doesn't make sense at all.
DeleteMisty, I have great news! Florence brought it to my attention that UPtv is playing "Romance in the Wilds" on September 26th. Hope this means they will play the Christmas movie, too!
DeleteI posted the movie news for "Romance in the Wilds" here:
https://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2021/08/uptv-september-2021-tv-movie-premieres.html
Also, I discovered Amazon now has a DVD listing for "Romance in the Wilds" here:

I should be getting concerned - I read that just a few days ago and didn't connect the two.
DeleteMyabe UP was airing Christmas In The Wilds so decided to show the forerunner - Florence
Net! I pre-ordered Christmas In The Smokies. Had too...Jill Wagner! "Nuff said"! Lol! I have never seen this movie in it's entirety. Something was always in the way..so to speak. Now I can watch when I want too. Thanks for the list Net! You're the best!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, I know just what you mean. When Christmas movies air at the same time, year after year- it's hard sometimes to catch every one. Hope you enjoy watching! Jill's part is rather small, unfortunately, but Sarah Lancaster is also wonderful in it.
