If you are not familiar with “Signed, Sealed, Delivered," then please let me introduce you. “Signed, Sealed, Delivered" is a Hallmark series with episodes and movies that feature four extraordinary workers from the Dead Letter Office of the U.S. Postal System who transform themselves into an elite team of lost-mail detectives!
The main cast featured (via Hallmark) is... Oliver (Eric Mabius) who still considers the stamped and mailed letter to be the gold standard of human communication. His hapless team of lost letter experts includes free-spirited Rita (Crystal Lowe) and oddly- intuitive Norman (Geoff Gustafson), who are thrown for a loop when a beautiful, no-nonsense computer techie named Shane (Kristin Booth) is mistakenly transferred to their department. This incredible team, who calls themselves the POstables, discovers lost letters and always delivers them technically late, but actually... divinely, right on time!

I know POstables (fans of “Signed, Sealed, Delivered") have been asking for a movie marathon like this for so long.
In fact, as soon as Hallmark shared this news on their web-site and TV, the news has been spreading amongst the POstables quicker than overnight shipping! With all that is going on in the world these days, I know we could use the ease and comfort of a SSD movie right now. It's a good time to "Trust the timing" on this "Devine Delivery"!

I hope you enjoy this “Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie marathon this Saturday!
Each episode or movie in the SSD series holds an element of faith. As I was thinking over the scriptures this morning, I had the feeling that The Word of God is like a letter or package we receive in the mail. The Lord is the Sender and we are the receivers... IF we open the door of our hearts and receive Him!
May you be blessed by the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie marathon this weekend.
Is there no new movie: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered" yet
ReplyDeleteThere were plans to bring a new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie to Hallmark Drama this year; however the coronavirus has delayed all of Hallmark's filming.
DeleteHopefully, once Hallmark can film again, this new SSD movie will still be in their plans.
News of a Signed, Sealed, Delivered marathon this Saturday is beyond exciting!!! We have been waiting anxiously, if not always patiently, for the filming of the next episode. It is soon approaching two years since "To the Altar"! Thank you, Net, for your very lovely descriptions of our four POstables. SSD is such a heartwarming program which will truly provide a much-needed glow of hope, faith and optimism, whether it is the audience's first viewing or the hundredth!
ReplyDeleteHello e.t.m.!
DeleteSo good to receive your comment! It's always wonderful to hear from another POstable who loves "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." This was such a delightful, unexpected treat from Hallmark. This makes me believe and feel encouraged that Hallmark still loves this series and it's faithful supporters.
This is fantastic news! We just finished binge-watching the whole series about a week ago, and I'm already hyped to watch it all over again! Honestly, one of the best series Hallmark has ever made. Thanks for the heads up on this! God bless!
ReplyDeleteHello Zach! I'm so glad you shared that! How incredible (or shall I say "sheerly awesome" as they say on SSD!) that you just finished watching the complete "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series. That must have been divine timing!
DeleteI'm right with ya... SSD is truly one of the best Hallmark series in my opinion, too, along with "When Calls the Heart" and now "When Hope Calls." I do wish we could see more elements of faith in WCTH today, like we do in "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." I love how faith is incorporated in each SSD story... it's always a wonderful element in how each letter is delivered.
Enjoy binge watching the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie marathon all over again on Saturday! All of us devoted POstables really need to come out strong in the ratings all day Saturday to show how much we love and support this show.
God bless you, too! Net
That would be awesome if the ratings can show the love for the SSD's. that may also show Hallmark that the older movies are gems and deserve to be highlighted and maybe make a little less movies. I really enjoyed the Mystery Woman marathon last weekend and the cast talking about the show. Would be awesome if they could have got some of the SSD actors to do some of that too. talk about great moments and the fun they have on filming.
Deletealso noticed HMM is playing more movies that aren't mystery series, so happy about that too. Love on the Air is laying soon, as well as Kiss on Pine Lake and Uncommon Grace. I miss when HMM played movies rather than all mystery series.
Will there be any new episodes of SSD coming in the near future? I miss them.
ReplyDeleteHello Estra!
DeleteYes! Well, hopefully. There were plans to bring a new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie to Hallmark Drama this year. Course, the coronavirus changed many plans and Hallmark had to halt their filming of all movie projects.
Hopefully, after the stay-at-home orders lift in more places, filming will be able to resume.
However, I also know that Hallmark's major focus (when filming can start up again) will be on filming their Christmas movies, so we will have to wait and see what movies are scheduled and which ones may be cancelled or delayed until next year.
Yay
ReplyDeleteLove your enthusiasm, Denise! :)
DeleteJim, I LOVE IT!!! This is such GREAT NEWS you just *Delivered*!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are thoroughly enjoying all of the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies. They are all so rich and deep in their meaning... I just fall in love with each one over and over again every time I watch them. It is truly wonderful to hear that you are now hooked, too!
When they played this marathon on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, it was a little confusing for people who had not seen "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" before, because they played them out of order. If you need to see the list of "SSD" movies or the "SSD" television series in chronological order, you can see my full list here:
https://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2015/09/chronological-order-hallmark-signed-sealed-delivered.html
Happy to have you on the POstables team! Welcome to this amazing group!
Jim... I'm so happy to hear how much my "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" chronological order page helped you watch all of the movies in order. I don't think that sounds OCD at all; I just think that sounds really smart.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, the relationships do change from one film to another, so it's best to watch them in the correct order. I could hardly believe the two-part movie was even played out of order that day.
I have Hallmark Movies Now, so I really enjoy re-watching the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" TV season on there. All I can say is... they are just as powerful, faith-filled and wonderful as the movies. If you love the movies (and I know you do!), then you will love these too!
I am new to the SSD series - just completed Heartland and Chesapeake Shores and was looking for another uplifting movie. I LOVE THEM !!! More, more, more please. The characters are believable and I also like that faith and God are intertwined in each episode ( SSD). I’m probably not the only one who noticed this but there are quite a few characters in SSD from CS. It was hard to find “Bree” one time as her hair was an auburn color instead of blond. It’s nice to see favorites in other shows across Hallmark. I hope filming is able to begin soon and until then keep up the awesome work of keeping us entertained and out spirits lifted. Blessings,
ReplyDeleteHello GrammaTink! Glad you love "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" too! I agree, wholeheartedly... "SSD" is such a wonderful, uplifting, inspirational TV and movie series!
DeleteYou are so right... it is fun to see Emilie Ullerup on SSD, she does look quite different with the auburn hair. I believe it was a wig. She also had a different part in one of the early 1 hour episodes of "SSD" where she was blonde. So maybe, that's why she wore the wig for the other role.
There was supposed to be another "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" in the works this year. Course, a lot of things changed because of the virus.
If you haven't heard the good news already, there will be a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathon on Saturday, July 25th - on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!
This is what they are airing that day:
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Season 1 Episodes air 9am-7pm
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas" - 7pm
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris with Love" - 9pm
Blessings to you! Net
I dont get that channel is there anyway you can just leave it were it was so we all can watch to new movies. I'm hoping for new ones to
ReplyDeleteLela, I think many others are hoping the same thing. They were supposed to premiere the new "J.L. Family Ranch" on Hallmark Drama, too, but the ended up premiering it on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries instead, so it's possible they may do the same thing with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Since they recently played the SSD movie marathons on HMM, then maybe that's a good sign that they might just premiere any new SSD movies there, too. I sure hope so! :)
