A secret from Terry and Katherine's past turns out to be the key to their future - and a reminder that it's never too late to forgive - and never too late to fall in love.

"Countdown to Christmas"
classic Christmas movie feature is
"Snow Bride"
on Friday, May 8th at 8pm/7c.
Storyline via Hallmark: With the promise of a promotion hanging in the balance, a tabloid reporter races to find juicy gossip about an influential political family. Her cynical opinion of them changes, however, when she inadvertently ends up spending the week leading up to Christmas with them and starts falling for one of the sons.
My Christmas Movie Pick of the Week:
I personally like all three of these movies. Fallen Angel is a heartwarming Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, with a bit of mystery. It's intriguing how the past unites three people once again at Rose Cottage.
Our Christmas Love Song has a sweet love story and beautiful music. It's pure joy to hear Alicia Witt and Brendan Hines sing together!
And, last but not least, my top pick Christmas movie airing this week is Snow Bride! It is such a delightfully fun rom-com! I just love watching Greta, the gossip tabloid journalist, who pretends to be the abandoned "Snow Bride" in the middle of a snowstorm in the woods... who just so happens to end up on the Tannenhill estate, at the cabin of Ben Tannenhill -no less. Snow Bride is an absolutely hilarious holiday story.

Blessings to You All, Net
I looove Snow Bride. One of my all-time faves.
ReplyDeleteAmanda D, Glad you love it too! I watched it again Friday night and was so into it! You'd think I was watching it for the first time! :)
DeleteI love the Christmas songs. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Ananya, Christmas is truly the best!!! :)
DeleteAll three of these movies are special. Snow Bride and Fallen Angel are special and our Christmas Love song. Showcases Alicia Witt and Brendon Hines musical talents.
ReplyDeleteHello Jersey Joe, Wonderful to hear you love these three Christmas movies too! Each week of Hallmark Christmas movies is such a treat! :)
Deletelove Snow Bride
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great? I just love when Greta and Just Ben meet for the first time in the cabin! That's the best. I always giggle when she says something about being so happy to see flannel.
DeleteLast night I watched Part 2 of The Bridge, after part 1 last week. I just love that movie so much, how meeting someone and only living somewhere for 3 months can change your entire life. love Molly and Ryan, so sweet, and Donna and Charlie, how Donna loved Charlie so much that she would go pray eventhough she lost hope in prayer after her baby died, and love how all the people came together for the Bartons and the bookstore. I was so happy they played both parts of the Bridge. will watch snow bride tonight too. Cant wait for next week HM Drama playing The Case for Christmas, and then the Santa Switch and Santa Suit.
ReplyDeleteSo good, Sabrina, to hear how much you enjoyed watching "The Bridge." I have found myself turning off news more and more and absorbing myself in the peace and tranquility of a Hallmark movie. Something about it soothes my soul. I love the happy ending at the end of The Bridge when everyone comes together. Faith Ford and Ted McGinley are both so wonderful... would love to see them in more Hallmark movies! :)
DeleteSabrina - Have you seen on "The Bridge" author Karen Kingsbury's social media websites about how the real bookstore was going under financially, and how she helped rally fans and readers to save it? Nice!
ReplyDeleteI saw that story, Amy! It's like a real life Hallmark movie come to life.
DeleteKaren Kingsbury is such a wonderful, giving, Christian woman. I follow her, too, since I interviewed her for "The Bridge." I love hearing about her family and upcoming book projects!
I have a feeling... Sabrina will love that story too! :)
DeleteNet - yes, it really is like a Hallmark movie come to life! :)
DeleteI will have to look at this. I don't think I knew there was a real bookstore. I did listen to that book a while back after I had watched the movie. the book has some little differences too, wont say, but such a wonderful story. I do like the movie A Time to Dance, need to check out that book too. I know its a tough subject in the movie, possible infidelity, a marriage on the rocks, I do love the stories that couples can overcome when life is not easy and they are not perfect, so many people just give up and I love a good story of 2 people fighting for the marriage.
DeleteTake Off to Love is definitely Hallmark movie on Hallmark Channel

there are many filmed movies out there and I wonder if Hallmark will pick some of them up. there are several summer movies, Just for the Summer, I cant think of the others right now, but this movie was filmed a while back and nobody when filming said it was for hallmark. But I do wonder with the virus now if some of these movies may become hallmark. Lifetime's movies are usually something about a stalker, or a killer roommate, so many of the movies I was looking at don't fit lifetime. but Uptv maybe.
DeleteI agree, Sabrina... I've been looking up various possibilities of films Hallmark could use this Summer and there seems to be lots of options. Based on plot synopsis, many of them sound cute and hopefully live up to Hallmark's standards.
DeleteSince Michelle Vicary (from Hallmark) said that as soon as things are back up and running the network's holiday movies are the top priority, I think you're right, they'll surely look into obtaining more of these movies for Summer or Fall.
I've just looked this up and a site called Reel Entertainment is giving Hallmark as the Channel so let's hope they're right.
ReplyDeleteApparently it was originally called Love At First Flight so maybe the title was changed as it was too similar to last year's Love Takes Flight.
Thank you for sharing this info! I am familiar with Reel One Entertainment - since they've made lots of wonderful Hallmark movies. That is encouraging news that they've listed Hallmark there.
DeleteThey changed the title from Love At First Flight to Take Off to Love
DeleteI thought a majority of Reel One Entertainment movies went to Lifetime, although Lifetime doesn't really do sweet romances throughout the year. they tend to do stuff like My Psycho stalker roommate, or Who stole my child. I do hope to see Just for Summer, it looks cute.
DeleteHello Sabrina,
DeleteYeah... Reel One Entertainment has definitely made a mix of Lifetime and Hallmark movies. A lot of Lifetime like you said.
Some of their Hallmark movies include: Merry & Bright, A Gift to Remember, Engaging Father Christmas, Magical Christmas Ornaments, A Summer to Remember, etc...
It looks like Just for Summer might be one of those lighthearted rom-com type movies! I hope we get to see it on Hallmark too! :)

Since I watched Hallmark Entertainment is fairytale movies as such as Merlin, Leprechauns. Prince Charming, Aladdin, Snow White. Snow Queen, etc
I'm hoping we see many of these movies, too, plus a few others!
DeleteLove Snow Bride also. One of my top 5 favorites from Hallmark. Also, really liked 12 Gifts Of Christmas and keep hoping for it to come out on dvd. Hoping too for Pearl in Paradise and Love in Paradise to come out on dvd also.
ReplyDeleteI keep watching out for more DVD releases, too. Maybe with various businesses shutting down over the coronavirus, this has affected the companies that manufacture DVD's. Hopefully with some businesses opening up again - we will have some new ones soon! :)
