Christmas Comes Early bringing Hallmark Schedule Updates! ⛄ #MiraclesOfChristmas @CandaceCBure @brennan_elliott @IamLaceyChabert ❄

Christmas has, indeed, come early!

In fact, Christmas begins TODAY, Friday, October 18th, on Hallmark Drama at 7am/6c. and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 7pm/6c.!

This weekend, many Hallmark Mystery fans were looking forward to "Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver," starring Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott, however, this magic themed movie has disappeared!

The previous premiere date given for this movie has been removed from the schedule - due to Christmas movies starting early on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. So, now what? Never fear. Look for this movie to reappear in 2020!

Another change - "The Miracles of Christmas Preview Special," hosted by Candace Cameron Bure, has been moved to Monday night, October 21st at 10pm/9c. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!

See the Christmas TV Schedule for this "Preview Special" additional encore times, plus ALL the NEW Christmas Movies and lots of beloved Christmas Classics! Please know, I'll be adding more and more and updating the Christmas Schedule all throughout the Christmas movie season!

Have a Blessed Day, Everyone! Net

  1. I love the 3 Hallmark channels but this year I have been disappointed with the change to their lineups this year. I know the have the right to change and I don't assume that what you post on your blog is gospel but when Hallmark airs commercials weeks before movies are broadcast get you excited for them and then pull them it is very disappointing. Hallmark could have started the Christmas lineup early and still aired the Crossword Mystery or start the Christmas lineup the next day. I wish they would rethink their choice.

    1. I'm right there with ya, Anon55! I do my best to share everything - and this changing of schedules so randomly and suddenly by Hallmark AND Lifetime - is hard for us all to keep up with.

I saw a link to another major web-site the other day that was sharing Hallmark's schedule and I clicked on it, just to check it out, and even though it was posted recently, it was all wrong. I imagine there's going to be a lot of that this year.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've already updated and changed the Christmas Schedule here this year!

By the way, I'm really surprised, too, that they decided to pull the last "Crossword Mystery" movie. They kept saying in the promo all week that this was the last movie before Christmas - and now, poof!, it's gone. I wish they would bring it back, too, but with no time to promote it again, I'm sure we'll have to wait until next year.

    2. Hallmark and Lifetime are trying to out duel each other now with Christmas.

  2. Oh, Net, I'm so glad you keep everything up to date for those of us who are swimming in Christmas right now! I got 12 of the 25 movies I ordered already...so happy!! I'm really hoping I can get "A Shoe Addicts Christmas" since I couldn't even leave my email address to be notified when or if it would be available to buy...wonder why?

    1. Wow, Linda... it sounds like your DVD collection is amazing! I have "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" on my DVD wish list, too! I can't believe it's sold out, already! I keep checking and hoping Walmart will get more back in stock.

      By the way...
Here's a direct link to the DVD for "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" for anyone who wants to check. I noticed I had a hard time finding it through searching since it has been currently sold out. Hopefully, they will re-stock them soon! :)

  3. Hi Net it’s so weird the changes but my tv schedule still shows the crossword mystery and the miracles of Christmas as scheduled.

  4. Thank you Net, for all you do to keep us in the know! It sure does get confusing. Not here though, Net works hard to keep us updated, calm, and excited for what is coming! My grandsons said I really knew how to work that TV. I told them of my friends At it's a wonderful movie, then I just speak the title into the remote, and then we are watching! They are in awe of our technology. Haha, it's usually us being impressed with them. A fun moment for all. Thanks Net , from Becky P.

  5. I so understand why you are doing the schedule the way you are. How frustrating! I was so ready for another mystery this Sunday!

  7. I hate that they keep moving the holiday movies earlier and earlier.. This is coming from someone who LOVES them. Soon they will be year long and not as special. I was also so excited about the last Crossword movie, as we had to wait so long to get movie #2. How can they air a preview for #3 last week and then pull it? Not good, Hallmark. :(

  8. Maybe I missed it in a post but did Hallmark say why they were starting Christmas movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries early? When I turned on my TV last night and clicked over to HM&M and saw the Christmas movies starting around the clock I was surprised. Just curious :-)

  9. I wonder if they decided to start airing Christmas movies early this year because of the competition they are facing with Lifetime deciding to also air 24 hour Christmas programming. I remember years ago when Lifetime always did 24 hour Christmas programming. I thought it was a big mistake when they stopped doing that. I think they lost a lot of viewers to Hallmark when they made that decision.

  10. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Hallmark & the Christmas movies but I am so disappointed lately. I was really looking forward to the new Crosswords mystery movie. They have three different channels. All showing Christmas movies before it’s even Halloween. Why the need to start so early? Especially since most of them are repeats? Why not keep showing mysteries on the Movies & Mysteries channel & do Christmas on the others?
Between their Christmas in July & Christmas starting in October it’s starting to not feel as special or exciting.
    Very bummed!!!
