Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has previously announced- their new Christmas movie coming during their Gold Crown Christmas event in July will be "Christmas Camp"! (See details in previous post - *here*!)
Now, it's the Hallmark Channel's turn!
EW has exclusively announced "A Merry Christmas Match," starring Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey, to premiere
UPDATE- June 18th: The Hallmark Channel has updated their Christmas in July schedule and the movie A Merry Christmas Match is NOT currently listed to air in July. Please stay tuned for further updates!
UPDATE- July 13th: It was announced during the "Christmas: A First Look Preview Special," hosted by Lacey Chabert, that A Merry Christmas Match would premiere Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 8pm/7c. on the Hallmark Channel.
Here is the storyline via EW: "The plot revolves around a woman named Corey (Newbrough) who lives in a ski village, works in her mom’s antique shop, and puts on an annual children’s Christmas pageant in honor of her late father. When a man named Ryder (Massey) visits her store, Corey wonders if she should have left town and followed her dreams of becoming a theater director."

According to the article, the “Gold Crown Christmas” campaign will run from June 28 to July 14, and Hallmark Channel’s “Keepsake Christmas” will take place from July 12 to July 27, however, I am "currently" seeing Christmas movies listed on the Hallmark Channel for July 28 too! Changes to the schedule are still possible, so we'll see!

That's right! As of now, Hallmark has announced TWO new Christmas movies in July- one for the Hallmark Channel and one for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, but you never know, they could always change schedules around and surprise us with one more! And, if they don't, that's okay too... two new Christmas movies in
DeleteJuly is a wonderful early gift, and we'll have 38 new ones to look forward to - come October, November, and December, which is right around the corner!!! :)
I can watch Hallmark movies all day and night. I can't wait for Christmas in July!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see Kyle Dean Massey in a Hallmark movie They're really upping their game with these new actors. I've loved his work in musicals for years and with Laura Osnes also doing a movie this summer my theater heart is happy.
