We've come, once again, to the end of another week with two Hallmark Christmas movies that were instant fan favorites! The first one, "A Bramble House Christmas," is well loved for it's heartwarming story of love and forgiveness, and the second movie, "A Very Merry Mix-Up," is well loved because it is filled with lots of funny, laugh out loud moments, but best of all, the warmth of family! Although these two movies are uniquely different, they have one common thread. Love!

Storyline via Hallmark: While settling his father’s estate, Finn Conrad becomes suspicious as to why the man left a nurse $50,000. His dad knew her for less than two months before he died. Just before Christmas, Finn wants what to reclaim what he considers his family’s money, going undercover to investigate the bed and breakfast the nurse has recently taken over. When Finn meets Willa, he discovers she’s not a conniving gold digger at all, but a woman in need who put the money to good use. When she discovers his true identity, will it keep Willa from ever trusting him again?

  3. These are two of my all-time favorite Hallmark Christmas movies! Unique story-lines, great acting and chemistry among the leads, and like you said, Bramble House is very touching and Mix-Up has a lot of humor. Although I have both of these on dvd, I will still be watching with everybody else since it is fun to share the experience!

  5. I love both of these movies, I just watched A Very Merry Mix Up the other day, and will gladly watch it again on Friday.

I am happy to see them play a few older movies this month, Snow Bride coming up too. I know Hallmark likes to promote their new movies, but I have noticed they have even played repeats of the Friday night movies, and with them having hundreds of movies, that disappoints me. I am pretty sure they have played A December Bride and it is being played again, and then of course Christmas at Graceland has been played before and will be again. I understand they want to play it before wedding at Graceland, but still with so many movies can we please have different movies played every Friday?

I liked Romance at Reindeer Lodge when it aired, but I deleted it to save room on my dvr, and am so glad I recorded it last Thursday, I have watched it at least 5 times since then. that movie is sooooo good. I remember that year they had many late in the hallmark Christmas season (in December) that were the best of the year like Romance at RL, Christmas Getaway, and Christmas Next Door.

  6. Love both of these movies! "Mix Up" is one of my absolute favorites! Funny that Hallmark's description of Bramble House says "...going undercover to investigate the bed and breakfast the nurse has recently taken over." Willa didn't take over the B&B; she was just a guest there when Finn went to check out her story. And even though she ended up agreeing to stay on & be an employee, that was at the very end of the movie. It wasn't her reason for being there in the first place.
