πŸŽ‰ HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019! πŸŽ‰ (and if YOU are still Searching for CHRISTMAS - You've come to the Right Place!)

I pray you all have a Blessed, Healthy, and Happy New Year! 2019 is full of infinite possibilities!

As for New Years Eve... I'll be ringing in the New Year with my family. We always have a simple party at home, play games, watch Hallmark Christmas movies throughout the day... and then, at midnight... we watch the ball drop in New York on TV, and we all shout "Happy New Year!" Then, it's hugs & kisses all around, and we pray for the new year ahead together.

Do you celebrate, too, and watch any of the New Years celebrations?

Also, if you are still loving the Christmas movies on TV... then be sure to get your fill from the Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries soon! Christmas movies will last on the Hallmark Channel until early January 2nd and on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries until early January 7th! See my Christmas TV Schedule for all the Christmas movies still airing, plus the annual Rose Parade on News Years Day!

If you were able to watch lots of the NEW Christmas movies during the holiday season, that's wonderful! However, I know due to the high volume of new arrivals, many of us were not able to catch as many as we like. So, if that's you, too, then I know we will be enjoying even more Christmas movies - as we begin 2019!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year... may be soon coming to an end, but we can feel in our hearts the true JOY of Christmas, the Love of Jesus, every day of the New Year!

Joyous Blessings to You All!

Happy New Year
to all of my
*It's a Wonderful Movie*
friends and family!

  3. What's the odd? ET said Hallmark Channel airs Christmas movies on January 5, 2019 before Winterfest movies but January 2, 2019!!!

HMM is still airing Christmas movies until January 7, 2019πŸ™‚

    1. I've checked the schedule numerous times on the Hallmark Channel web-site. Unfortunately, there are no more Christmas movies listed after January 2nd, even not on January 5th, and I was hoping they might reappear on the weekend, but it doesn't look like that is happening. I wish it was.

  4. Our New Year's is very similar to yours, Net...we get a Honeybaked Ham for New Year's Eve and I make chili on New Year's Day...lots of movies (including Hallmark!) and possibly a little football if USC or University of Oregon have a bowl game!

I'll be watching Hallmark Christmas movies through Epiphany and probably to Candlemas -- indeed, realistically all year long, just to try to catch up! LOL. The good feelings the movies provide are welcome year 'round.

Thank you so much for all you do keeping us informed of Hallmark news, your site is an amazing resource and I appreciate it very much.

    Best wishes,
    Laura

We sound much the same in our long list of Christmas movies still to watch! The joy it brings throughout the year is a true gift - through any season!

I'm so glad you enjoy your visits here! Thank you for your kind words!

    2. I just checked my DVR. I have 51 Christmas movies still to watch. I should be good until Christmas in July rolls around...haha. Happy New Year everyone!!

    3. Oh my goodness, Jim... 51! That is incredible! You almost have enough for every week of the year! I haven't counted my own personal still-to-watch-list, but I'm sure it's pretty high! I'm taking them little bit by little bit, enjoying this down time after Christmas. Plus, I don't care if the world turns off their lights, I'm keeping my tree up longer and simply loving this special relaxing time.

Enjoy each movie! I know you'll enjoy watching all throughout the year. Happy New Year to You, too!!!

  7. I did find myself having trouble keeping up with all the new movies, but I did notice Hallmark focused on a lot of movies just from the last few years. I was hoping they would show some of their older Christmas movies as well, because many of them are phenomenal. But, thank goodness for DVR! That helped so much. Cheers to all of you!

    1. I know just what you mean, Brent! I felt like I was on a fast car ride or roller coaster and after every twist and turn, instead of braking, we only got faster! I feel like I'm just starting now to catch my breath!

As for the DVR, I'm with you completely, it is so nice to have so many recorded now - to sit back, relax, and enjoy! I, too, would be totally lost without my recorder!

  8. Happiest New Year to you Net! I'm loving this sparkly festive backdrop on your website! You've been such a wonderful companion to this Christmas movies-watching journey. I still need to watch some of the new movies I haven't gotten to and can't believe it is now January already!

    1. I know just what you mean, CH! The Christmas season may start earlier than ever, but it still flies by so quickly. It is hard to believe Winterfest starts this weekend. I'm still absorbing as many Christmas movies, as possible, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries before they end. I'm glad at least one of the Hallmark stations extended them, but I do feel for the Christmas movie watchers who don't have HMM.

Hope you enjoy the start to Winterfest!
