  3. They both did great Christmas Movies last year and I'm really curious to see how this pairing will go. The first time I remember seeing Marc was in "First Daughter", ADORABLE, and I loved, loved Autumn in "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade". Can't wait to see this one!!

    1. That's exactly where I remember seeing both Marc and Autumn for the first time, Linda! I was instantly taken by them in those roles. Hope we love this one just as much!

    1. Oh, you have me curious now, LB... I'll definitely have to go and watch that!

I'm also quite interested in this, myself, because the creators of "Season for Love" also wrote "A Joyous Christmas," which I thought was fantastic!

      Thanks for the tip! :)

    2. Ooops...made a mistake in my earlier comment. It should be hallmarkchannel.com

Net, definitely check it out! :) I've heard great things about "A Joyous Christmas" but have yet to see it. Usually if I like the something by a set of writers/creators I like their other works too. So hopefully this will hold true and fans will be happy!

      Thanks,
      LB

Bring it!! Great comments! So agree with CH Mom & Anonymous! I think we need a mystery series with a male lead....I nominate Marc Blucas!!

    1. That's a great idea, Joyce! I remember some were hoping he might be in Alison Sweeney's new upcoming mystery movie, since they had such great chemistry together in "The Irresistible Blueberry Farm". (Her opposite is Benjamin Ayres.)

Now that Gourmet Detective seems to be over, you're right, most of the mysteries feature the women as the lead. Thankfully, Brennan Elliott will be starring alongside Lacey Chabert in theirs and Carlos will be with Alexa PenaVega in their mystery too!

  10. Hello. This movie was so incredibly cozy, I liked the movie and the story. The music was so beautiful that I wanted to hear more of it, but I have not figure out who's singing, it does not look like I'm able to find the soundtrack for the movie. Do you know how to figure out who is singing? Especially that song at the end was so beautiful.

    1. Oh yes, Silje, there were lots of fun country songs in "Season for Love." I do know the first song played in the opening scene was Dibs by Kelsea Ballerini.

I went back and listened to the song at the end - when they are in the kitchen cooking together, but I'm sorry, I don't recognize it.

It would be fun if they did soundtracks... I loved the country Texas feel of this movie! :)

  11. Great movie. Does anyone I know the list of songs used in this movie? There's a clip of a song with the words "right here, right here"... but I can't seem to find the name of group that sings it.

  12. Not having any luck finding that song either. Shazam didn’t know it. I wonder if it’s hust a short filler sound for this movie. I love it!! Would love to know who does it and hear the whole song if there’s more.

    1. I searched google with the lines; Come on take my hand;
      Let go of the day
Not any time to watch the children play..
Any chance Autumn Reeser wrote/recorded it?

    2. The song with the lyric "Let go of the day" is recorded by a group called If & When on their album Last Chance Motel.

  14. I was just listening to the song on iTunes after I read your post. I went to read the lyrics to read along with the song and the lyrics didn’t match the woman singing. Very strange.

    1. Yes, those lyrics are definitely wrong, but it’s easy enough to here what the singer is saying.

  16. Hello, can someone please tell me the name of the country song when the girls main character is dancing in the kitchen with her mom. The song goes something like this. Give me a kiss through the hot summer heat? Not sure. Also talks about walking through the grass on bare feet.
    Thank you
