So far, there are no DVD covers shown with these titles shown above, which are currently listed at CBD. I featured the previously released posters - as a reminder of what each movie was about. Typically, they do use the same posters, so I wouldn't be surprised if they all ended up looking as pictured above or very similar.
Do you like the poster images above? Is there anything you would change about any of them, if you could? Personally, I think it would be nice to see Rupert Penry Jones with Danica McKellar on the cover of 'Crown for Christmas', and the sweet little girl, too!
(Thank you to the Anonymous commenter & Shirley S. - who shared this new DVD news!)
At this time, the Aurora movie: 'Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery' and the three original releases of 'A Christmas Detour', 'Crown For Christmas', and 'Ice Sculpture Christmas' are the only movies available through Amazon. I do expect they will all end up there eventually! Until then, please help us keep a look out for them!!!
This is good news -- though I certainly hope they're not done with the DVD releases for the year, as there are certainly a few more from 2015 and prior that I'd like to see on DVD!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shirley, Anonymous and Net for the info.
I might be overlooking something, but are there links to the pages where "Surprised by Love," "The Bridge," "Angel of Christmas" and "The Christmas Secret" can be pre-ordered? Those are the one that can be found on Christianbook.com, correct (not on Amazon)?
I found them after clicking around a few times and going to a couple of different pages with pre-orders and new releases.
Yes! It really is good news! I agree with you, Sherry... I sure hope they release more come Christmas, but it is awesome to see these!
DeleteI didn't do direct links to the DVDs above - so sorry. The ones mentioned below are the ones, only available through CBD, so far. If you put one of the titles in the search bar at CBD and click on it, then the others should pop up beneath that as suggestions.
Like your suggestion of using Rupert on the cover for Crown for Christmas. That is so surprising they wouldn't think to include him initially being that he brings in his own period drama fan base.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? Quite Surprising! Thanks for agreeing! Maybe, if they haven't finalized the new DVD release cover, they can add him in this time!!!
DeleteAgree with you, Net. What a terrible oversight for them to not include Rupert Penry Jones on the cover with Danica McKellar. What were they thinking?
ReplyDeleteHope this means we can expect even more Hallmark Christmas movies will be released from previous holiday seasons.
Thanks for this update, Lauren
Agree, Lauren! I know that there are so many of us longing to have more Christmas movies released from previous years! Hope they are listening!
DeleteMore Hallmark movies on DVD, please!!!!
So happy to see The Christmas Secret! Please let us know as soon as Amazon gets it!
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to see 'The Christmas Secret', too! I will do my best to let you know as soon as I know when Amazon gets it!!!
DeleteNice to see the next Aurora movie come out. Any news, yet on the other Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies? Those who don't have the other Hallmark channel rely on these DVD releases.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is great to see more and more HMM mystery movies be released on DVD!!! As for Signed, Sealed, Delivered... The Paris movie is the only upcoming one I know about... being released in July!
DeleteClick Here to see 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris with Love' at Amazon!
Beyond that, I haven't heard news, yet, on the last 3 SSD movies... 'Truth be Told', 'The Impossible Dream', or 'From the Heart', yet!
I do wonder if they might combine 'Truth' and 'Dream' in one DVD, since it was a part 1 and part 2 story, like 'The Bridge'.
Guess we shall see! Thank you for comment!
Girl, you are the best, and what a great group of people who come in here to share news. Do let us know when Amazon gets all these in so we can order direct from you! Happy to see so many Christmas releases so early!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!! I'm so happy to share this DVD news! Thank you Joyce N.... your sweet compliment means so much! I will be sure to let you know as soon as I see them at Amazon! :)
DeleteYay for "The Christmas Secret." That's one of my most favorite Christmas flicks (with Hallmark). Cannot wait to see what other Christmas movies arrive on DVD this year. :)
ReplyDeleteI second your Yay! I know just what you mean... 'The Christmas Secret' is one of those delightfully sweet treasures with a great cast and story, that leaves that wonderful warm fuzzy feeling!!! It's a new favorite of mine, too! That list just keeps on growing!!!
DeleteThank you for sharing, Rissi! :)
I can't wait to see what comes next, too!!!
Hooray for more Hallmark DVD releases!
ReplyDeleteYes! It's great news! Hooray!!!!! :)
DeleteI'm with you, Rissi!! I loved the "Christmas Secret" and It sure looked like the "Christmas Note" was filmed in the same town setting; loved both!! Can't wait to pre-order!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I am so glad to know 'The Christmas Secret' captured your heart, too, Linda! I think we all must be kindred spirits, as we seem drawn to many of the same movies over the years!
Delete"The Christmas Secret" certainly is something special, with that warm homey feeling! I'm so glad those who don't have HMM will finally be able to see it! Definitely one that is perfect for every family Christmas DVD collection!
And, yes, as you mentioned, I love that it is the same town in 'The Christmas Note', with Betty from Betty's bakery in it, too!
Thank you for your sweet comment, Linda! I can't wait to pre-order, too! :)
So glad to see the Christmas Angel coming out on DVD too. Love this movie...has a little mystery to the story.
