Excited about this one! I've been hoping for another Fiona Gublemann movie ever since Tulips in Spring. She was so good in that and has this fantastic smile! The fact that Jesse Metcalfe is it too just ads sugar to the pot! Lol!

I have to say I have been some what disapponited in some of the new movies this year. My favorites so far are:
    Bramble House Christmas
    A Joyous Christmas
    Engaging Father Christmas
    Miss Christmas

Still have many more to watch! Blessings to you Net!

    1. Oh my goodness, I just adored Fiona in "Tulips in Spring," too! I'm also overjoyed to see her return and I sure hope this means we will see even more of her on Hallmark! She has infectious energy and joy in "Tulips" and judging by these promo pics for "Christmas Next Door," it looks like she carries that same enthusiasm with her in this! Jesse Metcalfe definitely adds that extra sweetness! (That is so cute, Joyce, what you said about him adding sugar to the pot! Love it!)

I've heard such great things about all the ones you mentioned, but I haven't seen all of those, yet, but they are recorded and I can't wait to see them all!

      Thanks so much for sharing!
Blessings and Merry Christmas!!! Net :)

  2. Oh, I was so happy to see Jesse Metcalf cast in a Christmas movie! Love him in Chesapeake Shores and one of my all time faves is A Country Wedding.

Joyce, I'm with you. I love Hallmark, but I do feel they are resting on their laurels somewhat. My favorites so far are:

    A Bramble House Christmas
    Coming for for Christmas Day
    Engaging Father Christmas
    The MIstletoe Inn and
    Christmas in Angel Falls

Looking forward to Christmas Encore and Maggie's Christmas Miracle.

I also think the HMM has the better stories.

    Merry Christmas!

    1. All such wonderful choices, Barbara! Isn't it fun to have so many to choose from? It's such a blessing! I can hardly pick which one to watch next off my recorder, since I keep hearing such wonderful things about so many of them!

Thank you for sharing your top favorites, so far, Barbara, for this year! Many more to go and from all the promos I've seen... they look really good!!! :)

Blessings & Merry Christmas!!! Net :)

    2. Thanks so much, Net, for this website. I check it several times a day in case I miss something! Just watched Bramble House Christmas I think for the 4th time, and same for Coming Home for Christmas Day. Love the story lines in that one. Looking forward to Brennan Elliott tonight in Christmas Encore. It's snowing now in the Boston area, so it really looks and feels like Christmas!

  3. Enjoyed this one. Does anyone know where to get the hats that she wears? Also in the scene when Jesse comes to her door she has a long cream sweater on, any ideas where that is from? The sister had a great sweater too I would love to find!

    1. Oh my goodness, she's absolutely adorable in all of her winter hats! I just love them!

As for the ivory and grey sweater, that's from the GAP, but it was sold out this morning, when I last looked. Maybe, there will be some returns after Christmas, and you can still find one! 😊

      Merry Christmas!!! Net

  4. Net, this is such a cute movie! Do you know if it’s possible to buy the decorations she had in her house? The ones that have a reindeer, snowman, Santa each in a separate globe tapping their feet to the music? It showed them in the scene where she took the kids over to get decorations for their tree. My daughter and I laugh so hard at them every time we watch the movie! Thanks! :)

  5. Hello.
Great movie. I loved the coats Brittany Bristow wore in the movie. Does anyone know where to get the black coat with the flowers and the long black and blue sweater she wore.
    Thank you.

  6. There is a great jazzy tune playing when April and the kids are making Christmas Cookies. I can't find the name of it anywhere? Any "name that tune" folks who can help me?

  7. I've been searching for the song myself! I've looked under every name I can think of...

  8. I would love to find out the name of the song she is playing in the restaurant toward the end of the movie, just before he comes in and gives her the necklace. That song is so beautiful (not the Christmas carol). I can’t read the credits because the are all squishy from the commercial playing above them.

  9. There is a scene where the sisters were walking out of the house. Fiona has on a tan sweater vest and the sister had on a long teal sweater coat. I need to find that teal sweater coat! Does anyone know where it came from?

  10. This movie was great, but couldn't there have been somebody who showed the actress how to hold a violin especially the bow? It was awful to look at! One look at YouTube would have helped!

  11. Loved the movie. Hallmark movies are the best! Does anyone know where to purchase the sweaters Brittany Bristow wore in the movie? I LOVE the black coat with the flowers and the long black and blue sweater she wore. Thank you.

    1. I also have been trying to find out the name of the song "April" starts playing in the resturant with her sister at piano. I have to say, Hallmark uses great music in there movies. And I for one have tried and tried to find the names of so many of them.

    2. How can we find the name of that song?

  15. This one is cute! My only complaint is that his house looks really ugly. Even the ice skating place doesn't look that Christmasy. But other than that I really liked it!

    1. We enjoyed the reality of not everyone is Olympic level skating but has fun anyway!
Also loved that second restaurant scene music, very rich in emotions.

  16. It's driving me crazy also. Such a beautiful piece. I have tried searching, and get nothing. This also is one of my all time favorite movies. It's to bad Hallmark doesn't have a page identifying the songs used in their movies. I haveto admitt they some great music!
