Storyline: Our Warriors work to exonerate a mother wrongly accused of murdering another mother in the Parent School Coalition.
Movie Review:
🔎 True Justice – This one is fast-paced and lots of fun. You have to pay attention closely, because there are lots of names/suspects mentioned, so you have to stay on your game. It was cute that they called themselves the Justice Warriors. That kind of reminded me of Signed, Sealed, Delivered – and the way they call themselves The Postables. Plus, another similarity to SSD… it looks like our 4 Justice Warriors may be pairing up as couples. It was cute to see that they had interest in one another. That added some lightheartedness to the story. (Although, I must admit, sometimes it felt a little middle-school-ish the way they kept asking – do you like so&so? It was still cute and playful, but at times came across slightly immature.)
Also, I didn’t care for a line from Sarah, the dark-haired forensic specialist, who at one point, as she’s attempting a critical test, says, “pray to whoever you pray to.” Personally, that wording felt unnecessary and very distracting. I think a simple “pray this works” would have sufficed. Aside from that moment, and the murder mystery, the film remains fairly family-friendly and is probably best suited for viewers ages 12 and up.
It was great to see Nikki DeLoach and Benjamin Ayres in this again, but I was also hoping to see a bit more of them. While I understand they are not the primary focus of the mystery, their scenes added a wonderful spark, and I found myself wishing for a few more moments with them onscreen.
Near the end, the Justice Warriors also break the fourth wall and directly address the TV audience, revealing clues that lead to who-dun-it. I know some people like that and some people don’t. It was actually kinda fun, but as I mentioned before, it’s extremely fast-paced so you have to pay very close attention. ~Net

Episode 4 - Dispatch Draft:
A high-stakes emergency surfaces unresolved conflicts as the County Rescue team comes together with professional support.
Episode 5 - What We Don't Know:
As County Rescue hosts CPR training, unspoken struggles test the team, forcing Andy, James, and Brianna to choose grace over assumption.
Have a wonderful last weekend of May, everyone! I'm hoping it's not too hot for those of you in warmer climates - on the West Coast and Down South. I'm so thrilled we are finally going to be in the 80s more consistently!
Also, I wanted to note - I am aware there is a new movie on the Hallmark Channel Saturday night titled Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Key to the Castle; I am not promoting this film because it contains ghosts and paranormal activity.
Scripture tells us this: “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.” ~Deuteronomy 18:10-12
The new episodes of County Rescue include more deep emotions from the team as they continue to heal from their loss, lean on their faith, and pursue their service to others.
This month may end with a busy schedule and a full list of things to do, but we can trust in Him to carry us through all the days ahead. Even in the ordinary moments, God still fills our days with little reminders of joy and hope.
His mercies are new each day, His love never wavers, and His goodness is always enough to meet you right where you are.

Happy movie watching this weekend everyone! Or recording, in my case of some Christmas movies I want to rewatch this weekend. Amen to your scripture about witchcraft Net. I really like Tamera (and am honestly surprised she continues to make these movies) but I cannot support what the movie represents. The world will try to make us believe it is “just for fun” and lighthearted, but as followers of Christ we have to stand on God’s word and not allow these types of movies in our minds and homes.
ReplyDeleteToday is our daughter’s last day of school so our summer break starts today 😊
~Paula
Paula, Awww... Happy last day of school for your little girl! That's always the best day!
DeleteAlso, appreciate your words on the scripture. I'm rather surprised Tamera does these, too. It's really unfortunate, because I 'd love to support her otherwise. Glad to know we feel the same on this.
Enjoy your Christmas movie re-watch!
Have a wonderful weekend & keep cool!!! :)
Hi! What is Lifetime tv doing on the 30th? They have Christmas movies in their 90-minute AM slots. The one I don’t know about its content is the Thank God one as I have read where Cowboy Christmas Romance is not family-friendly. From 3:00 PM-1:00 AM, I think all movies are not family-friendly. I definitely won’t be watching the not family-friendly movies, but I do find it interesting that all movies appear to be more romcom than what Lifetime would usually have especially on a Saturday and back-to-back. I wonder if the AM movies are an indication that they are getting back into Chrietmas in July as they had on TV in July 2021. More Christmas in July (if clean) the better! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the heads-up about Christmas on Lifetime, but like you said, Cowboy Christmas Romance is not family-friendly, and, unfortunately, Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch is not family-friendly either.
DeleteI think the reason they are playing these holiday movies is that they are country-themed, and Lifetime's new premiere Saturday night is also a country-themed movie. And the one Christmas movie stars Jana Kramer, who also stars in the new premiere.
That is interesting, though, that they are playing Christmas. Would love to see Christmas in July on Lifetime, too. It's been a long time since they've done that.
So appreciate you sharing!!! :)
