Two for Tee

Saturday March 21 - 8/7c

Tee is a Chinese American pottery artist who meets new community center handyman Will. As she learns about her family's traditions through art, can she and Will save the center from closure?

Stars Janel Parrish and Chris McNally

Movie Reviews:

🌷 Oh, I was so very saddened to hear about the ratings for 'Two for Tee'! It was such a lovely and heartfelt film. We enjoyed the movie very much. Added bonus was there were two "WCTH" actors. The young actress, who played the daughter is the same girl who played Gwen! Oh my gosh! She made me love her even more in this little gem of a movie. She was seriously great. She is absolutely adorable and such a natural. I believe she will have a long career. Anyway, in addition to that, the film was really wonderful. All of the relationships were believable. Nice chemistry. Good story line and it had some good funny moments. Plus, it was clean. I would definitely watch it again. :-) ~Joan

🌷 Two for Tee is family friendly and quite sweet. -Maria

A Royal Setting

Saturday March 28 - 8/7c

Ruby, a world-renowned gemologist is hired by Prince Luca to restore the crown jewels and design his crown challenging tradition and complicating his relationship with his mother, the queen.

Stars Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte

Movie Reviews:

🌷 A Royal Setting – What a delight it was seeing Jen Lilley again! She is always like a breath of fresh air. The story was nice, the connection between Ruby (Jen Lilley) and Prince Luca (Dan Jeannotte) was sweet, but I especially enjoyed watching Ruby trying to connect ever so kindly with thoughtful gifts and conversation with the silent guard who stood in the room where she was working on the crown jewels. I thought this was a lovely insight into Ruby’s warm and friendly personality.

Overall, it’s a cozy, enjoyable watch, even if the royal crown isn’t all that impressive. Since the storyline follows a familiar royal romance path, with a prince falling in love with a commoner, I would have loved a little bit more excitement or added sparkle to the plot… but even still, the movie remains lighthearted, wholesome, and family-friendly. And thanks to Jen Lilley’s delightful, cheerful performance, A Royal Setting is a truly pleasant, enjoyable escape. ~Net

🌷 I did watch A Royal Setting this weekend. I am not a fan of the royal movies and only watched it for Jen Lilley. It wasn't bad, it was better than many royal movies.

I liked Jen and Dan. I liked that it started off with mom pushing her choice on her son, but then it quickly went to showing us that Jory only had eyes for Zander and vice versa. So we didn't spend the whole movie with the royal making faces and not being happy being paired with mom's choice. I liked Ruby's pretty pink dress when they went out for an event.

At first I was getting annoyed with Ruby talking to Fred, but then it was just so sweet how she just made him feel he was valued and not just the guard. It seems the movie was showing that while tradition is good, it does not always have to be so rigid and strict.

And then the crown, I mean these movies are so hard cause they have a budget and all, but still. I mean CGI that thing in cause the one they showed looked awful. Hideous. The queens tiara wasn't quite as bad, but the crown was terrible.

Other weird thing, when the countess came to tell Ruby she was done and had to leave then, Ruby put a few things in her bag like her gloves, and then rolled her suitcase right out of there. Did she have it fully packed and all every day? Did she never unpack a thing? Was she ready to leave at a moments notice?

I do wonder what happens now. I know Ruby was going to the coronation, but is she moving to whatever made up nation they were at?

Overall I liked the sweetness Jen brings and her and Dan work so well together. I liked it was still a traditional royal family story, but a little change up on the entire movie wasn't the royal having to endure that he or she will marry someone they don't love. But I wouldn't watch it again. ~Sabrina

A Season to Blossom

Saturday April 4 at 8/7c

Starring: Emily Tennant and Carlo Marks

Storyline: An aspiring writer takes over her late grandmother's bookstore and finds love.

Movie Review:

🌷 A Season to Blossom – The leads in this, Emily Tennant and Carlo Marks, are very sweet and the story is equally sweet, but it’s also a little slow, at times. Overall, I enjoyed seeing her character, Elise, return home and run the book store she’s inherited from her grandmother, but like most stories, she’s eager to sell the book store, get back to the big city and leave behind her old friend, Max, who obviously has feelings for her.

Film highlights…

Even though the movie has a slower pace, it was still genuine and warm and I enjoyed seeing old friends reconnect and work so well with one another – encouraging each other – and sparking creativity.

There’s also an extra adorable cat – who is such a cutie. He actually reminded me of one of our adorable kitty cats!

Overall, this movie is lighthearted, easy-going, and family-friendly. If you want to watch something that is relaxing and peaceful, this would be a good choice. ~Net

A Little Park Music

Saturday April 11 at 8/7c

Starring: Laci J. Mailey and Beau Mirchoff

Storyline: When a piano appears in the park gazebo, interfering with important work, city manager Allie joins forces with rookie cop Ryan to remove it, only to find both music and love are hard to resist.

Movie Reviews:

🌷 A Little Park Music is quite charming. -Maria

🌷 A Little Park Music was really cute! Yes it was kind of a strange storyline but Laci and Beau had a sweet chemistry together, and it was fun to see them staking out and trying to solve the mystery together. The reason behind the piano was sweet. It’s always fun for me to see familiar faces in the supporting roles, and I giggled when I saw Lilian from Aurora Teagarden. She was her usual annoyed self Lol. And I enjoyed seeing Frances Flanagan as well. ~Paula

🌷 "A Little Park Music" was also a cute movie. A little bit of mystery, a nice story line that was a bit unique, sweet romance and great cast elevated the movie in my opinion. My gosh Laci has the bluest eyes I have ever seen. She was excellent in her role. I recommend this movie for sure. -Joan

🌷 "Litt Park Music"--I may be the minority here, I thought it was fine, but not great. The story got old for me after the same scenario over and over...and if I'm really picky, I like Laci's hair better brown, ;) but it was good enough, and I always appreciate a "clean" movie! -Lizzy R.

🌷 A Little Park Music was also a bore. I couldn't even tell you much about it, and I wanted to like it cause I love the leads. ~Sabrina

🌷 A Little Park Music was a sweet little movie. Story was different as it didn't fall into the rut that Hallmark seems to do so much of, "girl returns to home town and runs into old love from 20 years ago"! That story line has really gotten old!! Chemistry between the leads was good and it's family friendly. Saw some old familiar faces too. That's always nice! ~Joyce in Carolina

🌷 I'm catching up on a few movies. Just finished a Little Park Music on Hallmark. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was warm, it was kind, it was uplifting and it was filled with how a community should be together. The leads in this were both very charming and I feel they really had a good chemistry together. I love their scenes and especially their stake out that they had. I recommend this movie highly and feel that it is one of the best movies Hallmark has had recently. –Deanna

To Philly with Love

Saturday April 18 at 8/7c

Starring Rebecca Dalton and Stephen Huszar

Storyline: A teacher and an archivist decode Revolutionary War-era love letters, taking them on a thrilling journey through Philadelphia where they uncover history—and discover a love story of their own.

Movie Reviews:

🌷 To Philly with Love was just plain boring. I had such a hard time getting thru it. I ff a lot and watched the ending. Just plain boring. ~Sabrina

🌷 To Philly with Love is family friendly , but just an ok 1 time watch for me. Scenery of Philly is lovely and the story line is definitely different. It's a little slow. I had a hard time staying engaged in the movie. ~Joyce in Carolina

🌷 To Philly With Love – I must say I wasn’t sure what to expect with this movie, but I enjoyed it. There was a bit of mystery to it, decoding old love letters from the Revolutionary War, and the chemistry between the two leads, Emma (Rebecca Dalton) and Nate (Stephen Huszar), was gentle and sweet, not rushed liked most rom-coms. I enjoyed seeing their interest in each other build gradually as they did research together and as they read through the beautiful love letters from centuries ago. That gave me a little feel of Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

I also enjoyed the close relationship with Emma and her mother as they packed away her grandmother’s treasured possessions, who passed recently. There’s one special scene that shows the mother sewing a quilt, and it touched my heart deeply because my grandmother made many beautiful quilts that looked so much like the one she was making. It was also truly heartwarming to see Emma carry on her grandmother’s love of history and interest in the Ladies of Liberty group.

Overall, I enjoyed the history, the mystery, and the gentle romance throughout the movie – from the past and present. It was wonderful to see the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross house, and other historic sites in Philadelphia. It’s a family-friendly watch that is wholesome and intriguing and the movie just might spark an interest in learning more U.S. history, especially as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday! ~Net

Saturday April 25 at 8/7c

Starring: Tyler Hynes and Stacey Farber

Storyline: When a work errand derails Amy's weekend plans with her grandma, they embark on a road trip with one sentimental detour but need the help of a charming activities director.

Movie Reviews:

🌷 Aww, I'll be Seeing You certainly lives up to it's hype! –Maria

  1. These look good! I’m looking forward to hearing more details on the last 4, especially Laci’s.

  2. One of them looks like a mystery. Hope it is!

    1. Abigail, Yeah, I'm hoping, too... especially if it's not murder related, and it's just a fun sort of rom-com sort of mystery! :)

  3. Is this a new mystery with Rebecca Dalton??? 👀🕵️

    1. Okay answering my own question Lol, it appears it is…super exciting! While I don’t really care for Stephen (I feel bad saying that, I’m sure he’s very kind in real life) but I just feel he has chemistry with anyone in his movies. When he did the mysteries with Taylor Cole and also with Stephanie Tanner (can’t remember her real name) he just fell flat for me, just wasn’t a strong male actor…. But of course I will watch as I love the mysteries, thankful Hallmark is still making them. And all of the other movies look great! Nice to see some fave faces!

    2. Paula, Awww... I love that you answered your own question! So cute!

That picture with the flashlight is totally giving me mystery vibes, too! However, the title of the movie, Liberty Bell Romance, is making me think it's a rom-com.

The Winter Escape movie Caught by Love was also a romantic-comedy with a mystery, so maybe that's just something they are doing more of???

Also, must agree... that I didn't really feel the chemistry between Stephen Huszar and Jodie Sweetin in The Jane Mysteries. (By the way, she'll always be Stephanie Tanner to me, too! You made me smile when you called her that. Love it!!!)

    3. Paula that made me LOL! I’m not a fan of Jodie Sweeten, but loved her as a kid!
I did love Stephen with Laura Osnes not sure of spelling , lol, I love the Christmas movie they did together!

    4. I am a big Tyler Hynes fan, I think more for the person he is, he’s just so sweet. I did like Roadhouse Romance but my favs are Falling For You and It’s Christmas Eve, I did love It was always you, but his recent movies have not been great, I do like the Wiseman ones though. ~Susan Ann

  4. One of these movies I feel is yet ANOTHER new mystery. The one with them holding a flashlight in the dark. Another new mystery, that I still have not watched any since what they did to Mystery 101. Maybe they should get it, no more new mysteries.

Love Laci and Beau. I have been enjoying the Feb movies so far, and liked 1 winter escape. But some of these spring movies, not sure I will watch cause 2 of them have actors or actresses I just do not care for. No matter how many times I have tried their movies, I just can't get into them. I have watched more Hallmark movies, outside of christmas, this year than I had all of last year.

I know so many love the Tyler Hynes movies, but I have to admit, and probably the only one, but after Its Christmas Eve and the bachelor bake off fall movie, I just haven't really liked his movies. I think there are some actors/actresses they try and make the comedic roles every time and I think they just try to hard. Rhiannon Fish is the same for me. They try and make her the quirky comedian and it just doesn't work. I don't want to see the actors act the same in every movie I guess, especially when they try and be funny and witty and don't come off that way but more fake. I don't know, just my opinion. But I probably will try his Spring movie cause maybe its a more serious movie.

I do love SH and RD, I just will not watch another new mystery. Sorry.

      You are not alone.

I don't get to comment as much as I'd like, but so Many that seem to be Huge Hallmark Favorites, I don't see it?
I've always seemed to go against the grain of the expert critics choices...

      I too loved:
      Falling for you( I ♥️Taylor)
      It's Christmas Eve

I have seen all Tyler's movies except this past Christmas with Erin(I didn't like their first pairing at All)
I'm sure he's a lovely guy, but like Andrew Walker, I just don't get the appeal, Sorry..

We all have favorites, it's nice we have lots of choices.

I'm very excited about Jen & Dan again,
      Paris, Wine & Romance
      Is a favorite 💕

      Delete
    2. Sabrina & Kathy, Me too! There are faves I'm typically always excited to see and others... well, not so much. I totally get it.

And then sometimes I can like two people, but I don't like them necessarily together. There's one such pairing here that I can't really imagine working well together, but we'll see.

      Delete
    3. Kathy--nice to hear your views and perspectives. I did not watch Tyler Christmas either. As I am just not a big fan of his costar. I am probably one of the only ones not a fan of hers either. I don't know. I am not saying I don't like any of her movies, as I loved many earlier and do not dislike her as Elizabeth. I think her and her hubby are so sweet I just think so many movies are overhyped the chemistry like TH and also the movie with Ryan Paevey that I did see and didn't think was anything great. I don't know.

I liked Tyler Hynes on the 2 episodes of Heartland. I am just not a fan of the brothers trilogy Christmas movies that I am sure I am supposed to like as well.

Sometimes maybe it is someone's 1st movie that I see that does it for me. Holly and Ivy was just a movie that annoys me to know end and I tried so hard to watch Sugarplummed but there was a lot of overacting and it was just bad.

I have loved Beau Mirchoff since he was in that Ride show that got cancelled. He is so good. Carlo Marks a big fave too. I do love Rebecca Dalton so I am hoping that is a rom com and not a new mystery series.

I do not really watch many royal movies anymore, but will watch Jen Lilley's. I just adore her.

      Sabrina

  5. "Interesting" pair-ups for the April movies.

Although all look to have appeared in a Hallmark movie before - they seem to be using their lesser-known stars - pairing Tyler Hynes with Stacey Faber hoping he can carry her.

Although Emily Tennant and Carlo Marks are well enough known I would regard them as B-list actors similarly Rebecca Dalton and Stephen Huszar who is in-and-out.

I thought Beau Mirchoff was great in The Finnish Line.

I wonder if they are all full Hallmark movies or have been acquired?

After what in today's climate were pleasing figures for Hallmark for the first batch of 2026 movies the figures for these new ones may very well tell a story.

The Way To You had 1.5m live viewers the 3rd highest of the year to date.

I suppose it's because they aren't airing any new movies that GAF figures have plummeted since Christmas even to well below UP. - Florence

  6. I am a fan of Tyler Hynes but not of the costar in this up coming movie. So I might not watch. Then I do not really care for the movies with Janel Parrish. So channel surfing I will go.

  7. Hi Net. The titles are A Season to Blossom (Emily Tennant,Carlo M), A Little Park Music (title has likely changed from filming)-Laci Mailey/BM, Liberty Bell Romance (title will likely be changed-pretty sure this is an acquisition from TF1/JPG)-Becky Dalton/SH, & Season to Blossom airs Easter weekend. Two for Tee airs March 21st, followed by Royal Setting with Jen/Dan the following weekend. I think Jen/Dan's was an acquisition from MPCA as they made it last summer & I don't think it was set for Hallmark at that time.

    2. A Season to Blossom, had actor Mark Humphrey as Carlo's Dad. It's good to see him since his time in WCTH as a Mysterious Preacher. The Liberty Bell Romance and A Little Park Music. It was so good to see them before my TV gave up the Ghost. Not to mention the relic of my computer quit I took it Geek Squad yesterday, and got it back this morning. Yes there is a pulse is this old thing. I am grateful for it all these years. Everyone Be happy Bless the Lord! I Love all of my Sisters and Brothers in the Lord.
