🎄 Great American Family Adds Even MORE Holiday Cheer with 2 New Christmas Premieres 🎄 Get The Scoop Here!

'Tis the season for gift-giving, and Great American Family is gifting us viewers this holiday season with two more Christmas movie premieres!

Let's take a closer look at these newly added Christmas stories:

A Very Curious Christmas

Previous Title: Merry Mystery Christmas

Premiere Date: Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family and GFAM+

Starring: Brittany Bristow and Olivier Renaud

Storyline: A rising star reporter must uncover the identity of a local late-night bandit who has been stealing beautiful home Christmas displays across the city.

Pencil Me In For Christmas

Previous Title: Creating Christmas

Premiere Date: Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family and GFAM+

Starring: Greer Grammer and Jason Cermak

Storyline: Harper, an aspiring illustrator, is collaborating with Caleb, a demanding book author. When he insists on her working through Christmas in a quaint town, she must use the town's holiday celebrations to break him out of his writer's block.

Review:

🎄 I streamed this movie last Christmas (I think it was on Xumo), and I found it to be sweet and lighthearted. Greer Grammer is delightful as Harper, so cheerful and full of Christmas spirit! Jason Cermak plays Caleb, who starts off as a bit of a Grinch, but it’s heartwarming to watch him slowly open his heart to the joys of the season. Overall, I recall it being a nice, family-friendly film. ~Net

  2. Adding movie is great. But where is the announcement about A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding. They announced on May 21 that it would be part of Great American Christmas 2025. Today I saw on social media that movie is premiering in movie theaters on November 29 - December 2 as Another Sweet Christmas. Are they serious? What happen to the announcement when they were telling everyone asking to stay tuned. I do not think we will even see this movie this year? Now the questions are not even being answered. I am beginning to think that this movie will not been shown.

    1. Bebe, I'm not sure what the delay is with announcing this. I've known about Another Sweet Christmas coming to theaters for awhile now, but I've been waiting to share when GAF officially announced. However, since ticket details are already appearing on several movie sites, the word is definitely out! My hope is that once the theatrical run wraps up, the film will eventually air on Great American Family. Of course, they probably can’t confirm that until the movie finishes its time in theaters, but that’s just my hopeful guess for now.

    2. They do not have to confirm. They could say stay tuned for the exciting announcement about of when it is going to air. But continually ignoring comments asking when the movie is going to air is not a good look. This is the most popular movie from last year and the one that since the announcement of it being made fans wanted to know when will it air. The previous movie list had me hopeful since two additional movies were coming since today announcement of the two additional movies I am no longer hopeful, I do not understand what the problem is about announcing when this movie will air. With this being year 5 I would have thought this announcement would have come already.

    3. In movie theaters? Doesn't it take a lot of money to do that? I guess they really liked how it came out? Strange since it's a sequel.

  3. Of course they've both been streaming for some while now bur they're both excellent movies.

A Very Curious Christmas is a different type of movie more focussed on the mystery but Brittany Bristow and Olivier (I think there's an i in it) Renaud have good chemistry and carry it although the romance element is quite restrained.

One thing quite a bit takes place at night so the background is quite dark

Pencil Me In For Christmas is a favourite of mine and almost brings tears to my as I think of the good old days of Reel One.

Greer Grammer and Jason Cermak were both new to me but they made a great couple that I was really rooating for and it's one of those old-fashioned Rom.Coms which you've seen lots of times before that leaves you with a warm satisfying feeling - the tension simmers nicely and the ending is great.

I don't recall anything unfamily friendly in either of them.

    Both worth another watch.

    Florence's rating A Very Curious Christmas 7
Pencil Me In For Christmas 8.5

    1. Florence, Thank you for sharing both of these reviews!

And, yes, you're right! That is how to spell Olivier Renaud.
      I've edited it above.

So good to hear you enjoyed both Christmas movies! :)

    2. Florence, Did you watch Jason Cermak when he was on Hallmark & GAFAM movies?

He was on Christmas at Dollywood, Fixer Upper Mysteries, Right in Front of Me, A Mrs. Christmas Miracle, etc..., on HC

He was on A Christmas Blessing & Christmas Time is Here on GAFAM

    3. I did because I saw those movies and I see he starred with Jen Lilley but I he couldn't have made an impression on me because I didn't recognise him and that's an awful lot of movies - Florence

  4. I watched Jason Cermak on Creating Christmas on streaming service. It’s family friendly

  5. I was hoping one of the movies would be Christmas Roses. Christmas Roses will be on YouTube in Nov. on SparkTV

  6. I think that Great American Family has been really dis ingenuousness positioning these some of these movies as new movies when they've been out before. They get around it my calling them a GAF "premiere" but I actually expect more from them.

  11. Eep! Lots of updates! Man, do you think they'll add anymore. That entire presentation should've been filled in with the new CCB and Mathison film. Still disappointed they put this in theaters. Seems like a cash grab to me. I'll wait till it airs on GAF. The concessions alone cost more than the movie ticket.

  12. I'm trying to be positive for GAF....But I am so tired of all of these "aquired" movies. I can't help but be disappointed. I know it takes time to grow a network, but when lets say a quarter of movies you are showing are originals and the rest are not-I can't help but be a bit disappointed. I will watch all of these ( I want to support GAF as much as possible)-but I have to say their originals are 10X Better!
