For those of you who have asked, I have updated the Great American Family Christmas movie checklist since the latest changes have been made to their schedule.
There are new premiere dates for the movies Christmas Under the Northern Lights, Coupled Up for Christmas, and others.
If you'd like to print an enlarged size of this newly revised checklist, click here.
I hope this helps you catch (or record) all of the Great American Family Christmas movies you'd like to see throughout the Christmas season!
What Channel of the Chrismas list on the right
ReplyDeleteChris, I'm not sure what you mean about "on the right".
DeleteThe checklist above is of the channel Great American Family.
Hope that helps. :)
Thank you for update. Off subject a little, someone in a past post mentioned Christmas music early. Just got me thinking about different tastes. Would be curious about different contributors choices. For me I like the worshipful songs like the Piano Guys version of O Come, O Come Emmanuel or Lindsey Sterlings What Child is This. Also like to pep it up some with Meinheim Steamroller or the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Best of all I like the Carols or new songs by Contemparary Christian Artists. Just a thought if you would like to share.
ReplyDeleteJoCo, I love all of the ones you mentioned, as well! Like you, I also enjoy a variety of Christmas songs from Contemparary Christian Artists!
DeleteSidewalk Prophets has two songs I especially love on their album, Merry Christmas to You! It came out in 2013, but I still have to listen to their songs EVERY year!!!
"What a Glorious Night" is fantastic with a great beat and message, and I love - love - love the end with Linus from the Peanuts telling Charlie Brown "What Christmas is all about!"
And the song, "That Spirit of Christmas," is sooo good! It's the song from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation when Clark is in the attic reminiscing about Christmas. This is such an amazing rendition.
You can see it at Amazon here:

Plus, Matthew West is fantastic! I love so many of his songs, especially "Come Home for Christmas"! (I so miss hearing it on Great American Family!)
Of course, all of the classics from Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, and Doris Day are a must, as well! And the Chipmunks...LOL!!!
I've also got my eye on Phil Wickham's new album, "Hallelujah! It's Christmas!" I've previewed some of the songs, and it sounds amazing!!!
It can be previewed on Amazon here:

I would love to know the Contemparary Christian Artists you enjoy, too, JoCo.
And if anyone else has some suggestions... please share!
Net, I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who listens to the Chipmunks! I love their two classic Christmas albums (which was put out on one cd some years ago)! Aaalviiiiin!!
DeleteChristmas Music: sounds like we enjoy a lot of the same. From a while ago, Todd Agnew did a great Christmas Album Do You See What I See, with guest artists. Lately I’ve been listening to Casting Crowns Is There Room In Your Heart, and While You Were Sleeping. I also really like there older version of I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day. There is also a live song I saw on a TV special by Branden Heath called It’s A Long Way Down about Christ coming to earth. I recorded it on DVR but can’t find it commercially
DeleteThank you for the update.

ReplyDeleteThank you, do you have a checklist for any other channels like Hallmark etc.? Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like this checklist.
DeleteNo, I didn't do ones for either Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Mystery. Both networks put one out right away on their individual sites.
