There's some exciting non-movie news today from actress, Danica McKellar (Wonder Years, Crown for Christmas, Winter Palace). Her all new children's book, Double Puppy Trouble, officially launches in stores today! If you are looking for a way to reach out to your little ones with some excellent math tricks and helpful advice then Danica has you covered. Her math techniques have been inspiring young children for years - with her excellent line of McKellar Math books.
I thought I would share this awesome news with all of you - who might be interested in getting this book for your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, students, etc... Over the years, Danica's books have been a great help to many children who are struggling with various math fundamentals. What a great tool to start off the upcoming new school year!
Double Puppy Trouble storyline:
"Moxie Jo always wanted MORE. But soon she'd get MORE than she bargained for!
Spunky and energetic, Moxie is just like any other girl--aside from the fact that she has to have the MOST of everything! If she doesn't have the most toys, the most A's on tests, or the most time on the swing, then she makes the MOST noise! So when Moxie finds a magic stick that can double anything, she doesn't hesitate to use it--but when the button gets stuck, she may start to realize that less really is more! Teach the power of doubling through this playful puppy romp!"
Amazon currently has Double Puppy Trouble listed as the #1 New Release in Children's Math Fiction! Congrats, Danica! I hope your book release is a huge success! Plus, how adorable is that cover and the story theme with puppies? I'm "paws"-itive it will do very well! πΎ

Thanks for sharing this! I knew she had written a book about math for teen girls, but I didn't know she had written kids' books too. As a homeschool mom, I really want to check these out!
