Many of the 2021 Lifetime Christmas movies are available in large DVD collections at Walmart. While I enjoyed several of Lifetime's films from last year, I cannot recommend the entire collections. There are 4 different volumes with 12 movies in each. If you'd like to check them out, you can see them here: Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3, and Volume 4. There's also a Walmart Exclusive DVD with 50 Lifetime movies. Once again, I must say I do not endorse all of the Lifetime movies in these collections. I'm still hoping they will release some of these movies on DVD individually.
A Dicken's of a Holiday, The Christmas Promise, 'Tis the Season to be Merry, Christmas CEO, and A Christmas Together With You are all available in movie collections at Amazon. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the movies they are paired with, but if you would like to check out these DVD collections, simply click on their titles.

Definitely some goodies here! I can't believe the Lacey Chabert set goes for under $20 - that's just a little over $3 a movie! What a bargain!
ReplyDeleteMark 25, I know, right??? That is quite a great deal for 6 movies and all are fantastic, minus some of "A Christmas Melody" (need I say more?), but I still like seeing Lacey and Brennan Elliott together and the young girl is very sweet! :)

DeleteHi everyone. So I have a quick question here. I am really interested in the DVD Christmas In My Heart & My Christmas Family Tree. I live in Canada and have noticed that it is on pre-order at Target and Walmart but only in the United States. Neither store delivers to Canada, however, Amazon.com does, but unfortunately it is not available (yet anyway) on that site. I contacted Hallmark who told me that this movie is not even on their list to be out on DVD, so they can't help me. I am heartbroken at the thought of not getting those movies (especially My Christmas Family Tree), and I was wondering if anyone had any news, will Amazon be carrying it? Is there anyone there who can find out? I am sorry to be a nuisance, but it would make my day knowing that I can get one somehow. If we can't get it up here, there will be a lot of disappointed Hallmark fans:( Thanks in advance.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I could give you a guarantee that Amazon was going to have that DVD, as well. You probably know this, with how close you watch this process, but often times, Amazon will get these sort of movies that are first available at other stores after the release date.
DeleteWould ebay be an option for you? I don't see any on there, yet, but after it's released someone may list it on their site.

DeleteAs a Hallmark and Christmas frequent purchaser (over 150 DVD's) I have noticed a trend that the majority of fall/winter pre-order Walmart exclusive Hallmark Christmas DVD's are available on Amazon the first 3 months of the following year. You can verify this info by looking on this website at the previous history
Deleteof list of videos available for purchase. You will notice that about 5-8 Hallmark Christmas DVD's are available in the fall/winter before Christmas. Then, the first quarter of the next year they are available for sale on Amazon. I watch the market closely for anything available for sale and the best price. I hope this info will help you get DVD's mailed to you in Canada. Happy shopping and have a fabulous day!

My favorite Candace Cameron Bure Christmas movies are Christmas Town and Christmas Under Wraps. In order to get Christmas Under Wraps in my collection I had to buy A Christmas Detour, Christmas Under Wraps, Journey Back to Christmas and Switched for Christmas in one collection.

ReplyDeleteFYI. The last couple of listing above for the Hallmark 3-movie packages say country of origin as Australia. I sent a message to the seller and the response was yes the country of origin is listed correctly but these are NTSC/Region 0 DVD's. I ordered one DVD set of 3 to check it out. All 3 discs played on my DVD player. The picture quality is pretty good. Occasionally you might have a second or two of a darker screen but from what I saw, these movies were good. I ordered a couple of more and they all played fine. Can't wait until October 21st. I just hope the 2022 Christmas movies are good. The last few years there have been more movies that you just can't get into the movie -- way too slow moving and boring zzzzzzzzz.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention that there is no closed caption option nor selection of chapter option. The skip button on the remote conrol does allow you to skip forward to the chapter you want. You just have to press the skip button numerous times.
DeleteMy mom has been wanting Mingle All the Way for years. I see it is finally available in a 3-pack. However, my mom is hard of hearing. Is there anyway you can confirm whether the 3-pack has English subtitles and/or closed captions?
ReplyDeleteThe Hallmark 3-movie with Mingle All the Way will not be released until around 11-15-2022 so no one will know for sure about the closed caption option until then. In the past, a Hallmark Channel 3-Movie Collection usually comes with one DVD that has all three movies on that disc. In the right hand corner of the menu screen there has been an option Closed Caption ON/OFF. Just click on it to toggle option on/off. Most of the time the words are not capitalized but they are all on the screen to read.This DVD has a red border/one disc. Now there is another Hallmark Channel Original Movies with a white bordered front with a rating in the lower left hand corner and wording on right side that says DVD 3 Disc Set. These Hallmark 3 Disc sets (with the white border) only have a play option. If you want to select a chapter, then you have to press the skip button numerous times to get your desired chapter. I have yet to get closed caption to work as an option on the disc or through selecting the closed caption option on the remote control. I hope that helps you. Maybe on 11-15-2022 your question and answer will be addressed.

Is there anyway anyone can find out if Great American Family is going to be putting Angel Falls Christmas and The Great Christmas Switch on DVD. I have called them and left my number for someone to contact me about three times. I have asked the people at the front desk if they could ask so that when I called again they would have an answer but nothing!! No one has taken the time to bother responding. Not sure if it is because I am calling from Canada and therefore not important enough to respond to or what the issue is.
