Wow! What a busy weekend for TV! We certainly have a lot of new and great classic content to choose from this Saturday and Sunday. At the top of my list for the classics are: the Signed, Sealed, Delivered marathon and the GAC Family movie marathon! I will do my best to catch the best of both.
As for the new...., I'm sure I won't be able to catch everything, but I'll most definitely be watching the When Calls the Heart season 9 finale! For me, personally, that is a must-see! So many potential stories have been teased; I can't wait to finally see how everything comes full circle in the finale... for Rosemary, Lee, Elizabeth, Lucas, Nathan, Faith, Bill, Joseph, Minnie, Henry and well... every one in Hope Valley! Plus, I'm wondering if we will hear news on a Season 10 or maybe, even a movie to finish it off? My heart tells me they may go for, at least, one more season, but who knows? I am eagerly longing to find out!
Be sure to share in comments below what you'll be watching this weekend - or what you are longing to see!
Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies airing this weekend. If you'd like to leave a review, please share in comments.
The premise behind One Hour Behind is clever and the movie is a real gem - Florence
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Romance to the Rescue (Hope it's family friendly), When Calls the Heart finale. A must see!! I will probably try Rip in Time. Not a big fan of time travels.
ReplyDeleteOn another subject, I wish HMM would say yay or nay on the mystery series they have left us hanging with! So discouraging! I pay extra for HMM to see mysteries and more serious movies...not rom-coms!
Ok..getting off my soapbox! Thank you Net, as always, for keeping us in the loop!!
I am looking forward to Romance to the Rescue! I hope it's family friendly.
ReplyDeleteWCTH's finale looks great! I'll be tunning into that. -Maria
ReplyDeleteRomance to the Rescue looks like a good one.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to see Rip In Time, but will wait until Monday, to watch on streaming(so I can skip commercials;)
ReplyDeleteReally excited mostly for the WCTH. Looking forward to seeing the joy on Lee’s face, the proposal scene, and will Faith find out what’s wrong with Bill? And what will happen with Henry... he sacrificed so much for the town people that he cares about. And will Mae will come back, or was she just a means for Nathan to move on??
Hoping for season 10!!!
Does that officially mean it’s cancelled
ReplyDeleteWhile watching the hallmark channel today it was advertising in the corner the “series finale” of when calls the heart does that mean it’s officially canceled? Twitter says season 9 finale??
ReplyDeletePlus now I see they are doing a prop giveaway on hallmark channel Facebook page?? That may also be a hint!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a treat to have a Signed, Sealed, Delivered marathon. Devoted #POstables and new fans certainly enjoy these heartfelt stories of hope and love amid the mystery of a lost letter being solved. But the question remains: When will Hallmark finally renew a substantial contract for future movies? SSD is the best and most unique series on Hallmark!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking forward to watching all these movies I'll definitely be watching the new movie on Up TV Sunday evening at 6:00-8:00 I may switch over to a rip in time on Hallmark movies and Mysteries but I will not be watching the finale of WCTH
ReplyDeleteRomance to the Rescue
ReplyDeleteKyra plans to enter her dog in an agility show to impress a potential love interest. The problem is, she doesn't have a dog, so she needs to find and train one quickly.
Allie is looking for a Wife for Nathan when she turns to Elizabeth at row house. If Jack Jr., will want Mountie Nathan for himself & his Mom; Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteWill Elizabeth turn Lucas down he propose down? Look like Allie’s promises Elizabeth to marry Nathan If Elizabeth is thinking just before she changes her mind for Nathan & Allie, will make Jack Jr., happy.
Looks like a family of 4 = Nathan, Elizabeth, Allie, & Jack Jr.
Romance to the Rescue in the first 10 minutes has a guy talking to the main character about the other guys he dates.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this review on Romance to the Rescue, I will be deleting this off my DVR. I really appreciate you letting us know.
DeleteI posted your review on the Romance to the Rescue page:

(sighs). When I saw the movie's description, and it's trailer, I immediately thought 'Clone of A Tail of love'. Sad to see that I was pretty much right, right down to the 'gay reveal very early in the movie' part. :( -Maria
DeleteI'm grateful at least, both of the gay scenes were in the early part of the films, before you're invested in it.
DeleteHarmony in Paradise is family friendly. (I watched an early screening) It’s a story about a writer who steps out of her comfort zone. (it kind of gave me a Love on the Slopes feel there)
ReplyDeleteAmelia Dey usually writes her travel stories at home, but this time her boss sends her to Puerto Rico to write about the release of the manatees, who were rescued after the hurricane. She not only puts her notebook down and finds adventure, but she may also discover love. The scenery, by the way, is gorgeous!
There are some cheesy moments, and I’m not sure I felt a major connection between the leads, but all the characters were mostly likable. It was nice how everyone was so kind and welcoming to Amelia. This was an okay one time watch for me.
Harmony in Paradise was very nice! -Maria
ReplyDeleteRip in Time....
ReplyDeleteI did kinda enjoy this film and it was family friendly. No same sex issues, I mean. I've always had a fancy to time-travel themed books/movies. I loved the kind gentleman he was and his acting was great.
I didn't like the kiss in the rain. Seemed too sensual. I wouldn't want my younger siblings to see that. I also did not appreciate the scene when she tells Rip she was never married before she had a baby and never intended to. I know that's the way our sinfull world is now, but it's hard to see them embrace that willingly. For these serious reasons I will not watch again.
I did however 1000% loved WCTH!! The baby telling scene was more precious than I could ever imagined. Already re-watched it twice! Hoping for a Season 10....do you know when they might make an announcement??
Abigail, Thank you for sharing this review with us. I'm disappointed to hear they added this to the story. They usually keep certain moral standards, but I wonder if they are testing that here, as well.
DeleteI appreciate your review, and I posted it to the Rip in Time page here:

Also, love your WCTH comment. Still no news about Season 10. Sure hope it's a go - in some way.
