MOVIE ALERT!
SEE BREAKING CHRISTMAS MOVIE NEWS
FROM GAC FAMILY AT THE END OF THIS POST...

Christmas in July is already showing up gradually on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and the Hallmark Channel will be celebrating a little bit of Christmas around Memorial Day weekend! I've been busy updating the Christmas Schedule with the movie dates that Hallmark has already shared; however, please know, schedules could change as we get closer to that time. So, be sure to check back for any updates!

You'll find many wonderful Christmas classics in July on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, such as: A Veteran's Christmas, A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas, A Homecoming for the Holidays, A Christmas to Remember, Christmas Under the Stars, Return to Christmas Creek, A Joyous Christmas and more!

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is actually beginning their *Christmas in July* programming in late June - leading into July, and I anticipate the Hallmark Channel will follow in mid-July. Stay tuned!

You can see the Christmas movies airing in June and July (so far!) - in the Christmas Movie Schedule!

As for now, we can enjoy the magic of Christmas this week - with these three lovely actresses, Aimee Teegarden, Cindy Busby, and Jen Lilley, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the Hallmark Channel, and GAC Family...

Thursday, May 5, 2022:

Storyline via Hallmark: After receiving a medical diagnosis before the holidays, Heather Krueger discovers she is in urgent need of a life-saving liver transplant. Facing incredible odds against finding a donor, she’s shocked when a stranger, Chris Dempsey, volunteers to donate half his liver to her. As Heather and Chris get to know one another and their families before and after the transplant, they form a deep connection and begin to wonder if the closeness they feel goes beyond the special connection between organ donor and recipient. The two must decide if Chris’s selfless act is the beginning of a beautiful, true love story.

Storyline via Hallmark: Multiple coincidences and a chance meeting bring Alice and Jack, two strangers from very different family backgrounds, together for a weekend wedding celebration. What follows is a completely unexpected Christmastime courtship filled with personal revelations, misread signals, and a very real health scare that will either destroy or strengthen the budding romance.

It's hard to pick a favorite among these three movies, since I enjoy them all and the three actresses in them, but for me, there's just something extra special about this particular Godwink movie that always touches my heart. The unconditional love Jack gives to Alice, even though he knows hard times may be ahead, is such a precious, unselfish gift. The same, however, can be said of Chris and Heather in Once Upon a Christmas Miracle. Those two beautiful real-life stories are filled with such emotion... they truly have all-the-feels!

Plus, I was truly touched by Jen Lilley's message of giving to others in Royally Wrapped for Christmas. What a better world this would be if people did more of that!

  1. "They truly have all-the-feels!", Give me the feels baby, give me the feels!!

Looks like Christmas in July starts on June 24th. Love it!

Net, the movie "A New Year's Resolution", that movie is a mystery to me. If I remember correctly that was supposed to be on during Christmas 2019 season but never showed? Has it ever been on TV since then? I see it is on their streaming movie service Hallmark Movies Now but I know I have never seen it on TV and I pretty much record ALL Christmas movies. Is May 12th the first time it will be on TV? I see they also have it playing on June 7th on the Hallmark Channel. May 12th on HMM.

    1. Jim, That's right - we did initially expect "A New Year's Resolution" to premiere during or at the end of the 2019 Christmas movie season, but it didn't end up premiering on the Hallmark Channel until January 9, 2021.

If you like, you can check out reviews from myself, kitkat, Amy G., Jane, and Anonymous commenters - here! (It's the second movie in the post!)

"A New Year's Resolution" is also available on DVD...

You may have missed the premiere since it didn't air during the Christmas season. Hopefully, you can catch one of the encore showings you mentioned.

    2. Thanks so much Net. Really looking forward to watching it. You are absolutely right on why I didn't catch it when it premiered. By the time January 9th rolls around I am in the blackhole phase of darkness and didn't realize it was Christmas themed as well as New Year's. Plus, I am avoiding anything Christmas at that time because it hurts too much.

  2. I've been buying a lot of old Hallmark Christmas movies on DVD so I can stop clogging up the DVR every year. Gonna start opening some up in July. :) -Maria

    1. Maria, Good idea! I need to do more of that. My poor DVR needs space, and I treasure many of the older movies!

  4. I am so concerned for all those in the Midwest who are going through these horrible weather events. It is round after round. I thought of you Net and all the others who live in the Midwest. As I pray on this National Day of Prayer, I will also be praying for all of you. We need God's mercy and protection more than ever. May His Peace reign in our hearts today.

  5. Thank you for your concern, kitkat, and your prayers from this Midwesterner. The severe weather fortunately missed this area - we are now just getting constant rain (some heavy, some light, but continuous for days now). Flooding could soon be a concern though...

    1. kitkat & Mark25 - We've had pretty much the same conditions... days of cloudy skies and rain - off and on. Thankfully, even though the weather forecasters initially said it could be severe, it ended up being very mild, as far as storms go.

As I've shared you all before, I am from a farm family and with all the heavy rain we've been having this Spring, it's been impossible for my family to get in the field and plant our crops. Please pray conditions will improve soon, and we will be able to do so.

Thank you so much for your care and concern, kitkat. Blessings to you and yours on this Mothers Day weekend!
