My Review of TWO Trevor Donovan Movies - and Where YOU Can Watch Both! @TrevDon #Hallmarkies SEE HERE:

Trevor Donovan as Dr. Luke Taylor - Prescription for Love

Actor Trevor Donovan, who is well known from his Hallmark movies: "USS Christmas," "Two for the Win," "Marry Me at Christmas," "Nostalgic Christmas" and more... also has two fun rom-com movies: "Prescription for Love" and "Love, Lost & Found," that are Hallmark-esque.

If you enjoyed those previous Hallmark movies with Trevor, then be sure to check out my reviews for these movies below...

Movie Review: Prescription for Love -

This movie is such a cute rom-com. If a DVD was available, I would absolutely buy it.

Trevor Donovan portrays handsome Dr. Luke Taylor, who is used to women constantly flirting with him at work. When Luke attends a local dance performance, after receiving an invite from his boss, he finds himself stuck in a rather dark elevator with a nervous caterer and a nice young woman.

The woman is easy to talk to and makes their unexpected time together fun, while the caterer is an absolute wreck thinking they are going to die. Afterwards, Luke realizes that he and the woman made a connection beyond the outward superficial; however, when they were rescued from the stuck elevator, he was distracted and never saw her face or learned her name. The woman, Claire Abbott (played by Jillian Murray), however, does catch a glimpse of Luke, before being pulled away by her friend. When Claire, a nurse, ends up seeing Dr. Luke Taylor the next day at work, on his first day, she attempts to tell him who she is, but he interrupts and shares that he’s against fraternizing at work, so she keeps their elevator experience to herself. It’s very interesting to see the two interact at the hospital- as he’s still thinking of the mystery woman in the elevator and searching for her, yet it’s obvious he’s beginning to have feelings for Claire, as well. Luke's search to find the mystery elevator woman ends up being quite amusing.

Besides the two leads, there are several other fascinating, intriguing characters: the friendly hospital janitor, the horrible, mean hospital staff, and the unique hospital patients- who I just loved, especially when they meddled into Luke and Claire‘s love life. I truly enjoyed this movie, except one minor thing- the misunderstanding at the end was rather annoying, but even with that, if you have the opportunity to stream this movie, I do recommend watching it. The ending is very sweet. "Prescription for Love" is family friendly and just the right dose of romance and comedy!

Movie Review: Love Lost & Found -

You'll find yourself laughing-out-loud with this action-adventure, romantic comedy. "Love, Lost & Found"
stars Danielle C. Ryan, as Claire, who you may recognize from a number of TV movies including: "A Christmas Wish" (AKA: "A Rootbeer Christmas") and "Christmas for Dollar."

Claire’s eccentric boyfriend, Joey, is big on social media and over-sharing every moment of his life with his followers. He’s kind of odd and silly, but if you stick with the movie after the intro, it gets much better. Joey decides he’s going to record his marriage proposal to a very busy, workaholic Claire out in the woods, far away from the rest of civilization. While there, self-absorbed Joey asks Claire to take several photos of himself for on-line.

I don’t want to give too much of the story away here, but an interesting, unexpected event occurs which leaves Claire stranded and alone in the wilderness, until she’s discovered by her ex, Colt, who is played by actor, Trevor Donovan ("USS Christmas"). In this movie, however, Trevor doesn’t have his typical clean cut Hallmark look. Instead, he looks more ruggedly handsome with a beard, like a lumberjack. An unfortunate circumstance makes Colt loose communication with Ranger Natalie, who is accompanied by Joey, in their search to find Claire. Even though Clair has been found, she's less than thrilled it was by her ex, Colt.

Overall, I thought the movie was fun and family friendly. One note of caution: Both men are shirtless for a moment while out in the woods, and both women notice briefly before looking away. There are many hilarious escapades throughout the movie, but on a deeper level - it’s a story of man vs. nature, finding oneself, and forgiveness.

I was able to watch this movie free with ads through my Roku. You may want to try to do a search for this title with your streaming device.

This is the third movie that Danielle C. Ryan and Trevor Donovan have teamed up for. The previous two films were "Love Finds You in Charm" and "Runaway Romance;" both movies have aired on UPtv, are also family friendly and they are available on DVD or streaming.

"Love Finds You in Charm" is such an interesting movie, too. It's so different to see Trevor portraying an Amish man.
