Review:
π "I thought it was okay and reckon many here will like it. I can confirm though that there are no problems as regards it being family friendly." ~ Florence
π "Love in Whitbrooke - The formula of this movie is similar to the typical rom-com story we’re used to – girl has an important job in the city and possible promotion, then she returns to her hometown - where the family business is failing, of course, and needs her help. Plus, the town has an important festival coming up – that also needs her assistance. In this story, Amber (played by Brittany Bristow) enjoys the time she is spending with her family and begins to fall in love again with her small-town, painting and a handsome, jack-of-all-trades sort of guy, Jason Taylor (played by Corey Sevier), who often seems to be around. Since the leads are portrayed by two actors I already really like - Brittany Bristow and Corey Sevier, that really pulled me into this story: Brittany, with her bubbly personality and Corey, with his boy-next-door charm. I enjoyed the set-up of this story, but the ending left me wanting more. Also, at one point, a young child wandered off from his parents, but no one seemed to think it was a big deal. Overall, though - it’s a delightful, lighthearted movie – ideal for family viewing." ~Net
π "Anyone who didn't get a chance to watch Love in Whitbrooke on UPtv should. Brittany Bristow was awesome and crushed it as leading lady, beautifully done! Not to mention, the scenery in the movie was beautiful. Loved it! I'm so glad I recorded it, I will definitely be watching again." ~Rita Kaye

Trailer: (PLEASE NOTE: This video clip shows a LOT of the movie. If you don't want to see too many SPOILERS, you may want to skip it or fast forward through.)
Hope you enjoyed this movie information and trailer video above for Love in Whitbrooke. I've always enjoyed both Brittany Bristow and Corey Sevier, so I am very much looking forward to watching this. (Update: See my review above! ^) In fact, my first remembrance of Brittany was as the bubbly assistant in Love Blossoms; she's always delightful and full of energy in all of her roles. It's great to see her play the lead role again, as she did in the Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, Holiday Date.
As for Corey Sevier, I first recall him from the wonderful family drama, Little Men, based on Louisa May Alcott's classic book. Corey portrayed one of the children, Dan, who went to the private school, Plumfield, that was set in the country. He was an incredible child actor, and he's still great today. If your looking for a family-friendly series to watch, I absolutely recommend checking out Little Men. (By the way, Amazon Prime Members can currently stream it for free!)
Are you looking forward to watching Love in Whitbrooke on UPtv?

There’s a new movie called; “The Nanny Diaries”, will premiere on 7/11/2021 on UPTV at 7!ET/4 PT
ReplyDeleteStarring Alicia Keys, Scarlet Johansson, & Chris Evans
That's right, “The Nanny Diaries” is premiering for the first time on UPtv; however, it's not a new movie. The movie first aired in theaters in 2007, so it has been around for some time. I personally have never viewed it, so I can't give you an opinion on it.
DeleteI remember seeing this movie in the movie theater. It was a while ago, though. It was cute based on the popular book. I would imagine they might have to cut a few parts for it to air on UPtv. Obviously came out right before two of the leads went on to become Avengers.
DeleteI don't know what happened with Love In Whitbrooke - it originated with Reel One Entertainment but they are not showing it as having been taken up by UPtv.
ReplyDeleteSomeone somehow got a copy of it and posted it on You Tube over a month ago.
Not knowing it was coming to TV I watched it but doing so on a laptop was pretty offputting.
I don't really want to say much about it until it has aired.
I thought it was okay and reckon many here will like it.
I can confirm though that there are no problems as regards it being family friendly. - Florence
Florence, I also noticed that there is no mention on Reel One regarding UPtv obtaining "Love In Whitbrooke," yet.
DeleteI was informed about the movie premiering on July 18th from my friend at UPtv.
I believe some of these movies from Reel One Entertainment have already aired on TV in Canada, so that's why they sometimes pop up on YouTube.
Thank you! - Thank you! - for sharing it is family friendly; it's always really nice to know that before recording or viewing.
Blessings on your day! Net
Hello Net and Florence and friends,
DeleteIndeed, Love Stories in Sunflower Valley and Love in Whitbrooke premiered exclusively in Canada as part of the Spring Fling line-up.
Happy 4th of July!
What Channel airs Spring Fling in Canada?
DeleteIt couldn't surely be Hallmark? - Florence
Hi!
DeleteActually, the W Network in Canada is carrying Hallmark content for a few years now. They also use the seasonal themes for their Hallmark content. I ended finding out about this because the name of Love Stories in Sunflower Valley came across my path on the interwebs :), much like your experience. Then wondering when it would be broadcast, I found out about the premieres being in Canada first... -EB
EB, Thank you for sharing this info with us! I'm so glad Canadian viewers are able to see these movies now, as well. I know it used to be hard for them to see these movies - they used to have to wait forever, and now they ironically see some of them first. :)
DeleteAnonymous, I appreciate you sharing with us those details on the seasonal movies. Since "Love Stories in Sunflower Valley" aired during the Spring Fling lineup, I wonder when & where it will end up here. Since sunflowers bloom throughout the summer and early fall - it still could air on UPtv or Hallmark, I hope!
DeleteLove Corey and Brittany, so looking forward to this.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good one. I enjoy Brittany Bristow's movies.

With regard to Corey Sevier I cam across this new movie starring himself and Brooke Nevin called It Takes A Christmas Village:
ReplyDeleteWhen construction on Main Street threatens to put the town's shops out of business, mayor Alex Foster decides to throw a Christmas market to boost sales. To do it though, she'll have to convince the reclusive Darcy Hawkins to host it at his family's old mill, bringing up old family feuds and sparking romance in the process.
Like the sound of this - probably not a Hallmark movie but it could end up on Lifetime this Christmas - Florence
The movie called; The Christmas Market
DeleteStarring Brooke Nevin & Corey Sevier
He directed it
His Wife is a writer
This is certainly for Hallmark
