2 Must-See Movies TODAY: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” from the beginning + A Hallmark Christmas Classic! #POstables #Hallmarkies SEE HERE:

Today - you can watch "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" - starting with their very first movie! It's the initial introduction to Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman and how these four great Postal Detectives became the incredible POstables!

Plus, you'll want to revisit "The Christmas Cottage" on Friday night for a classic Hallmark holiday rom-com! (By the way, "The Christmas Cottage" stars Steve Lund, who will also star in this weekend's new movie premiere, "Baby, It's Cold Inside.")

Friday, May 7, 2021:

Storyline: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” introduces a dedicated, quartet of civil servants in the Dead Letter Office of the U.S. Postal System who transform themselves into an elite team of lost-mail detectives. Their determination to deliver the seemingly undeliverable takes them out of the post office into an unpredictable world where letters and packages from the past save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but always miraculously on time. The intrepid team is led by the charming and handsome, but idiosyncratic, Oliver (Mabius) who still considers the stamped and mailed letter to be the gold standard of human communication. His hapless team of lost letter experts, free-spirited Rita (Crystal Lowe, “Smallville”) and oddly- intuitive Norman (Geoff Gustafson, “Primeval: New World”), are thrown for a loop when a beautiful, no-nonsense technophile named Shane (Booth) is mistakenly transferred to their inner sanctum. Shane inspires the lovable crew to step up in a risky and unorthodox way, beginning with a chance to clear the name of a wrongfully accused man and reconnect him with the love of his life.

Movie Review: (This is my review of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" from 2013 - when I first watched the original SSD movie! You can cleary see how passionate I was about the first movie, before it was even a series.)

The Hallmark Channel delivers again!

Signed, Sealed, Delivered will send your Heart on a First Class Journey of Adventure!

I have seen this movie and I can guarantee this Hallmark Package will be well received by viewers! It's fabulous! I would compare it to the level of a Hallmark Hall of Fame film, due to the wonderful cast and inspirational, heartwarming feel.

The CIA has nothing on this team of “Letter” detectives!

Signed Sealed Delivered is such a clever movie… thought-provoking, soul-searching, and definitely emotionally stirring!

I loved that each character, in this story, was more than one dimensional… (read more of my review - here)

Friday, May 7, 2021:

Storyline via Hallmark: When Lacey takes a rare break from work for her friend Ava’s Christmas Eve wedding, she reconnects with her former flame, Ean. The two decorate the cottage where the newlyweds will spend their honeymoon – a cottage said to bring true love to anyone who stays there – and feel their chemistry return. Lacey, however, is dating her equally workaholic business partner, Roger, who arrives just before the wedding. With Roger in town Lacey sees the sharp contrast between Ean’s family values and Roger’s sole focus on work, and must decide if the professional goals she shares with Roger or the connection and history she shares with Ean are more important in a lasting relationship.

  1. I LOVE SSD. I am up to Home Again watching. Just when I think the movies cant get any better, they do. I think it is just such great writing, character development. The movies take place very soon after the last one ended. I always think From Paris with love is my favorite, but then Truth Be told and Impossible Dream are so close together and so good, and then From the Heart and One in a Million I love how they tell the story of Shane and Oliver's date throughout. Lost without You is just so good. I really cry like a baby at least once during these movies. All the military stories, the love these POstables share with each other, the comedy of Norman, Ramon, love Olivers relationships with his father, how cautious he is with his heart.

These movies are some of the best things Hallmark has ever done. I am always blown away at how good the writing is and how the characters evolve throughout the series. So happy Hallmark still plays and they should make many more movies.

  2. Dear Net, You were so correct with your initial review of Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Each episode of SSD is like viewing a "Hallmark Hall of Fame" special movie. If it is even possible, the caliber of heartwarming stories and the portrayal of our beloved POstables has continued to reach new heights of excellence over the years. We're so very grateful to Hallmark deciding to "Open the DLO"!
