It's the second full week into the new year and (is it just me?) time already seems to be flying by. I don't know about you all, but with everything currently going on in the world, I could really use a dose of Christmas cheer right now! So... I'm looking forward to both Christmas movies airing on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this week.
First up, it's "Christmas Next Door" on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, with the bubbly April (Fiona Gubelmann) and her rather Grinchy neighbor, Eric (Jesse Metcalfe). It is such a sweet, lighthearted movie, you can't help from feeling extra warm & fuzzy inside when Eric gets roped into taking care of his niece and nephew over the holidays and eventually rediscovers the Christmas spirit.
Then on Friday night, join Maddie (Jen Lilley), as she goes on a Tiger Cruise adventure with her mother (portrayed by Barbara Niven) in "USS Christmas." When Maddie meets Billy (Trevor Donovan), a naval officer on the ship, they work together to unravel the mystery behind a special love story from the past and perhaps, along the way, Maddie helps renew Billy's love of Christmas. This patriotic film instantly became one of my favorites in 2020!

Storyline via Hallmark: A confirmed bachelor’s life is turned upside down when he takes in his young niece and nephew a week before Christmas, his absolutely least favorite time of year. As he struggles to “make Christmas” for the kids, with a little help from his lovely next door neighbor, he learns some valuable lessons about the value of family, love, and the joy of Christmas, as seen through the eyes of children.

USS Christmas is better have CC on HC rather than there’s no CC during the premiere on HMM 11x
