“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

❤❤❤❤❤
With regard to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries I'm glad to be proved wrong that there would be no more Ruby Herring Mysteries with Prediction Murder scheduled.
ReplyDeleteI really love the chemistry between Taylor Cole and Stephen Huszar.
Yeah, it's great to see another "Ruby Herring Mysteries" is on the way in April! It's hard to believe this is only movie #3. I think every mystery wheel that has ended, made at least that many. So... we'll see where they go from here.
DeleteLove the first picture of this blog entry. That picture reminds me of when I was a kid and we would play "TV Tag" or "Freeze Tag" in the front yard. Oh and also "Simon Says" with all the neighborhood children. And don't forget "kick ball" in the street. We had so much fun just jumping and leaping and running around the yard and street.
ReplyDeleteWho needed fancy tech games like they have today? Not us. All we had was our imaginations and it was delightful. I almost never see kids playing outside any more. I know there are multiple reasons for that but it's such a shame. Neighborhoods were like family back then. People barely talk today where I live in the neighborhoods. The kids are inside looking at their phones and video games all day.
Oh, how wonderful was the sweetness and innocence and simplicity and purity of those many days gone by where we thought everyone would live happily ever after.
Jim, I grew up playing a lot of outdoor games, too! We had Nintendo, but we were never consumed with it like people seem to be with video games today. Plus, my siblings and I played together, which was always fun.
DeleteI remember many summers riding my bike or playing baseball in our yard with my siblings and the neighbor children. At recess at school we would always play tag (I remember freeze tag, too!), red rover, or steal the bacon. I loved all of those.
It is sad to see the way things change. I don't think we ever thought about not being safe, as long as we stayed in our yard and didn't cross the road.
Anyway, in the spirit of tag - - YOU'RE IT!!! :)
Jim, I meant to ask... what's "TV Tag"?
Delete"TV Tag" is just a variation of "Freeze Tag". Here is a description..."TV Tag - In this version, to unfreeze a player you must tag them and shout the name of a TV show. If you accidentally name a show that has already been called, you are now frozen next to that player. This game can be played with other categories such as books, animal names or breakfast cereals."
DeleteYou must be younger than I am. I was into my 20's before Nintendo came out. Atari came out when I was around my teen ages. A game called PONG (An electronic table tennis)...haha...we thought that game was the greatest. Today the kids would laugh at it. I don't believe I ever owned an Atari though. My friend had one. Never forget playing it for the first time. Give me "Freeze Tag" though...lol. All the fresh summer warm breeze in the air. How great it was.
We were basically safe anywhere in my neighborhood (A block or two away).
"Steal the bacon" is the only game I don't recognize.
Since you are my friend and Tag Team teammate I Unfreeze you so we can frolic and delight in the day, all day long, until the sun sets.
Okay... I think I've heard of a variation of that game of tag. I think we played something similar.
DeleteSteal the bacon was one we played often at recess or P.E...
I found rules for the game here:
https://icebreakerideas.com/steal-the-bacon/ I have always been a fast runner- so I loved this game!
Thanks for the unfreeze - have a great weekend! :)
Net... this is the cutest post. I love your take on leap day and pics! Who doesn’t love an extra day! I will be enjoying all these wonderful shows this weekend. Of course you always keep me up to date!
ReplyDeleteAwe, I'm so glad you enjoyed this post, NK! I hope you enjoy all the movies & shows this weekend, too! You're comment is so sweet!
DeleteHappy Leap Day Weekend to You! :)
Blessings, Net

Right... there are no new movies for the next couple weeks on March 7 and 14th; however, on March 21st, Hallmark will be airing another PixL movie - "Adventures in Love & Babysitting." If you don't count that, I understand, since it's not technically new. Plus, if you have the PixL channel, then you've probably seen it.
DeleteThe last Saturday in March, the 28th, is the premiere date for the first Hallmark Channel Spring Fever movie, "Just My Type."
My family loves Sunday nights with WCTH and WHC. I just wish it didn’t have to end at 10. That’s too late for young kids.
ReplyDeleteAnna, I'm so glad you and your family enjoy watching each Sunday! My family loves it too! Hopefully you can record to watch later for your little ones.
DeleteI discovered on Hallmark's site, they are playing Christmas movies all day (starting 2 pm) on Fri April 10th, and a 3 of the movies they are playing they have already played on Christmas Fridays. Really, Hallmark has hundreds of Christmas movies and there are already repeats? I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteSabrina, I, too, am so thrilled they are once again giving us a day of Christmas movies in April!!! YAY!!! It's so nice when they do this to coincide with the end of the Merry Madness bracket challenge, which I've tried and I must say, it's definitely challenging. I know it was probably a waste of time because my bracket usually gets busted early on, but I just had to try for fun.
DeleteI think the Christmas movies they chose to air on April 10th, like "Christmas Town" and "Christmas Under the Stars," are ones they consider to be the most popular. I wonder how they'll do ultimately in the bracket.
I think it's especially nice this years day of Christmas movies ended up on the Good Friday before Easter! We can celebrate the birth and resurrection of Jesus!
I updated the full list of April Christmas movies in the schedule for ALL three Hallmark networks. Looks like some good ones are playing overall.
Thank you, Sabrina, for sharing the excitement! You're the best! :)
All years long - Christmas movies on Hallmark
DeleteGood news about having more Christmas movies to see this April, but I don't see Double Holiday listed. That was one of my favorites this year...and it hasn't played since the end of December. It premiered late in the season(I believe December)and was only aired a few times. I'm puzzled why Hallmark hasn't shown it again. Amy thoughts Net?
ReplyDeleteThere’s spark fly in between Chuck & Grace on When Hope Calls
ReplyDeleteThere’s no 2nd Easter movies
ReplyDeleteEaster Scavenger Hunt
Easter cookies & pastries
Easter Candies
