Entertainment Tonight announces the Christmas casting news we've been waiting to hear...
Alison Sweeney (Chronicle Mysteries) will star alongside Lucas Bryant (Tulips in Spring) in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas Movie, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, produced by country singer, Blake Shelton.
Here is the storyline for this movie via ET and Hallmark: "In Time for You to Come Home for Christmas, recent widow Katherine (Sweeney) and her son, Will, return to her hometown to spend Christmas with family. On the train to Virginia, Katherine meets Jack (Bryant), a veteran on his own holiday journey. Katherine and Jack part ways, only to discover they had the same destination. While volunteering for the local Christmas dance, a fundraiser for military families, the two grow closer. But Katherine struggles to move on from her late husband and Jack is focused on a mysterious mission that brought him to town. As Christmas nears, the two learn of a hidden connection that may be the Christmas miracle they were looking for."
You might recall last year, Hallmark had a movie with a similar title, Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas starring Josh Henderson and Megan Park. This year's movie is a sequel to that film that was based off a Blake Shelton song and a book, Time for Me to Come Home, written by Blake's mother, Dorothy Shackleford.

DeleteThe story already sounds so heartwarming and touching; I love that Lucas will be portraying a Veteran. It will be interesting to see how their characters come together.

Yes, I absolutely agree... it is so nice to see Lucas Bryant will be starring alongside Alison Sweeney in this movie. With wonderful actors like these, this story is sure to be one to watch!

ReplyDeleteUnknown, I too would love to see Lucas Bryant in another movie; preferably on GAC because I could count on it being clean. Since Hallmark has ruined so many movies with my favorite actors, I think they might do that with Lucas Bryant too.

Lucas Bryant is by far - the best. He seems like such a compassionate person. Love all his movies. My favourite of all the Hallmark guys.
