ReplyDeleteAbout the changes to the schedule.... Sigh. That's basically what I have to say. Sigh... (with an eye roll thrown in).
ReplyDeleteWe literally got the full schedule 3 days ago, AND last week, and now, already, 4 significant changes have been made. What on earth will we be dealing with in Oct-Nov-early Dec?
Yeah, I know just how you feel. Just when you sort of get used to it one way, they change it up. I do my best to look out for changes, but you never know when to expect them. I'm sure I'll be updating the Christmas Movie Schedule numerous times, once again, throughout the Christmas season!
DeleteHallmark Drama Launches on Comcast's Xfinity X1
ReplyDeleteCrown Media outlet launched in 2017, adds biggest cable provider
Crown Media Family Networks said Hallmark Drama, the company’s third linear cable network, launched today (Sept. 10) on Comcast's Xfinity X1 platform. Customers who have the Digital Preferred package can say “Hallmark Drama” into the Xfinity Voice Remote to live tune to the network or tune to channel 1460. Crown launched the network in 2017, with the first breakthrough coming on launch on Dish Network. Other distributors of note include DirecTV, Cox Communications and NCTC affiliates, along with virtual pay-TV providers including Fubo, Philo and Sony PlayStation Vue. Charter Communications also includes Hallmark Drama in its TV Essentials offering for broadband-only customers, according to Crown distribution executive Erin McIlvain. She said the Xfinity launch brings the channel up above the 25-million subscriber mark.
Hallmark Drama is soon to launch its first proprietary original shows, including holiday specials Christmas Cookie Matchup (pictured above) and Project Christmas Joy plus new installments in the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” movie franchise and the sequel to the 2016 original movie JL Family Ranch starring Jon Voight, Teri Polo, James Caan, Bo Derek and Dylan Walsh. Hallmark Drama also features series and movies from Crown Media’s library. Crown's other two linear channels are Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
That's right! I saw an article on this bit of news early yesterday and shared it on Twitter with the POstables. I hope this means lots of Comcast subscribers will be able to see the Christmas movies on Hallmark Drama + the SSD movie next year and More!!! :)
DeleteBut I need Hallmark Drama for U-Verse
DeleteThat Channel we didn’t have on U-Verse
I hope they’ll launch on U-Verse
I keep hoping everyone will be able to get Hallmark Drama... Soon!
DeleteGreat news about Comcast getting Hallmark Drama, but I would have to upgrade/add the channel. I won't be doing that :( I sent off a note to them about hopefully in the future, adding Hallmark Drama to the already existing package that has the other two channels.
DeleteI agree Jim, no one is going to want that for Outfit for Christmas! Screams more Halloween, not Christmas! Not sure why they keep doing these Christmas preview specials...they all are same clips and schedule until the next week they change it, which I'm sure makes it hard for you Net!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Net for keeping us up to date. I have to say, I have LOVED all this years Christmas previews. I am really looking forward to these too.
ReplyDeleteI would like them to rename Nostalgic Christmas, that is hard to say for me. I really liked the title This time of year, too bad they didn't keep it. Its getting so close, almost here yay!!!!!!
Awwwwe, I appreciate that sweet comment, Sabrina. It is always fun to share news with all my Hallmark movie followers here and YOU! You are such a great friend, and I appreciate all the movie news you share with me. We're all here to help out one another navigate through another Christmas season - and changing movie titles, too!!! Christmas is right around the corner!!! :)

DeleteGotta have a little mistletoe
Mix it with a little jingle bells
Need to have a bit of winter snow
Yeah-eh
Come on over, celebrate with me
Hang us up on a Christmas tree
Tie it all up with a perfect bow
You and I
Will be dreaming tonight
But if I
Can't wait 'cause it's my
Favorite time of year
Yeah, it's almost here
Can you see it now?
It's comin' and comin' and comin' around
My favorite time of year
Feel it in the air?
Can you feel it now?
It's comin' and comin' and comin' around
(Comin' and comin' and comin' around)
Going out to see the city lights
Walking with you on a Saturday night
We'll be singing everywhere we go!
(Where we go!) Yeah-eh!
We'll be busy making memories
All the way up until New Year's Eve
We'll be dressing up in red and gold
You and I
(You and…
What a fun song! Thanks for sharing those Christmas lyrics - so perfect for this time of year!!! I remember Debby Ryan from her Disney shows.
Delete"dressing up in red and gold" sounds perfect!
My Favorite Time of Year by The Florin Street Band
DeleteLanterns lighting up the town, Peace on earth is all around, Everything is calm on Christmas Eve. There's goodwill in the air tonight, Angels sing by candle light, Their voices carried on the wind. When carol singers gather round,
When I hear that festive sound,
I wanna join with them and sing! They sing a merry song and we all sing along, A festive melody that tells us Christmas time is here. See the stars tonight; they're shining bright, 'Cause it's Christmas time and it's my favorite time of year
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Give me mistletoe; it's the season to be jolly, Wrapping presents, writing cards, helping decorate the tree, But there's one thing that makes it all for me. When carol singers gather round, Angel voices fill the town, It's like the world is joining in (Noel, Noel, Noel) Chours They sing a merry song and we all sing along, A festive melody that tells us Christmas time is here. See the stars tonight; they're shining bright, 'Cause it's Christmas time and it's my favourite time of year. Christmas Eve, Still believe, So excited, Can't sleep, When the morning comes, Church bells ring, And he's been Chours They sing a merry song and we all sing along, A festive melody that tells us Christmas time is here. See the stars tonight; they're shining bright, 'Cause it's Christmas time and it's my favourite time of year. And it's my favorite time of year (Noel, Noel)
I'm excited, too, Jim & Anon, for all the Christmas movie news I can take in,... but as for Candace's outfit here - it's definitely not one I'll be copying this Christmas, either. I don't know... call me traditional, but I prefer red and green, winter white, or even silver and gold! But not black for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine how spectacular a snow white ball gown would've looked on Candace in that room. I mean, Candace typically always looks great, but I'm with you all, I'm just not feelin' this style for this occasion.
And Anon... That's true, the changing Christmas movie dates/titles certainly makes it challenging.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, many people probably printed out the original version, and while most of it is right, these last minute changes may lead someone to miss something they really wanted to see.
I'm doing my best to keep everything updated here along the way... Thank you for your comment & support!
Christmas Is My Favorite Time of the Year
ReplyDeleteChristmas has always been and will always be my favorite time of the year. For me, Christmas is a season that brings so much love, laughter, happiness, and Jesus Christ into our lives.
On Christmas eve we would all go to mass at night and then at 11:59 p.m., the whole church would start counting down and once it was 12 midnight, everyone would shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, followed by a series of hugs, kisses, handshakes, and smiles.
On Christmas day we would just spend the entire day together eating, dancing, talking, and having a wonderful time.

Thank you for sharing your precious memories and favorite moments of Christmas. I'm so glad it is such a special, meaningful time of year for you! As a Christian, I, too, am grateful that our Savior Jesus Christ was born into this world - so we could be saved from our sins. That is the best gift and celebration of Christmas!
DeleteGod's Blessings to You! Net
Net, will the Christmas shows start Oct. 19 or just the previews for the shows? Who better to host it than Candace Cameron Bure? I just love to watch her in all the Christmas specials. She looks great! Thanks Net, for the heads up! I look forward to seeing all the Hallmark Christmas movies. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Hello Sheri! So far, it's just the preview special on October 19th. But you never know with Hallmark, it's always possible they could change the schedule around and start Christmas sooner!
DeleteI'm constantly keeping the Christmas Schedule updated - so you'll definitely want to check there for any changes!
Glad you enjoy the Christmas movies, too! :)
Blessings! Net
Why Candace Cameron Bure wore black clothes during Countdown to Christmas movie preview program - isn’t she supposedly to wear red or green ones?
