Seeing him is inevitable as their parents run the town’s annual Christmas Market together, but when she discovers Foster is bringing home a new girlfriend, Jolie cannot bear the thought of going home alone and seeing them together. Her best friend Naomi (Danneel Ackles) suggests that Jolie bring her flaky brother, Jack (Robert Buckley), home for Christmas as he has no plans this year. Jolie, a professional web designer, is hesitant; so, Naomi, a lawyer, creates a Christmas contract to give them both something they want—a buffer for those awkward moments around Jolie’s ex and a website to help sell Jack’s upcoming novel. Unbeknownst to them, the Christmas contract proves to be so much more than what they signed up for. The Christmas Contract is produced by Active Entertainment. Ken Badish and Daniel Lewis serve as executive producers. Monika Mitchell serves as director with a script by Cassie Doyle.

And just when the Bennet ladies seem out of luck, an unexpected visitor—with a well-known sweet tooth for cookies and milk—comes to the bakery and may in fact be the key to solving everything. 2. The Hallmark Channel exceeds our expectations again. I am very happy to see this extra treat for us Christmas movie lovers. I am especially happy because the movie I had planned for tomorrow was "The Flight Before Christmas" because I really like Mayim Bialik and she is great in this movie. Now I can just wait a couple of days and not have to dig out the DVD. Great news all around. Merry June Christmas, everybody.

    1. I know... this was an unexpected SURPRISE!!! Lifetime obviously knows they are competitors with Hallmark when it comes to Christmas, so they just want to remind viewers what they have to offer by adding in this Christmas movie marathon on Hallmark's Christmas in July launch day.

When it comes to Christmas on these channels, I love them both... so... I'll be going back and forth between both stations - watching my favorites! Enjoy watching, Jim... Christmas is coming!!! :)

    2. I usually can only take Lifetime Christmas movies as their other movies can be pretty terrible, but I actually enjoyed the book to screen movies Tempting Fate and To Have and to Hold and was going to record Family Pictures when I saw the Friday Christmas movies. At first I thought I was seeing things, then the next day I checked again and it was true. But I wondered if maybe they were doing them on Fridays thru July, cause they sometimes due "themes" like killer mom Mondays (its probably not exactly that, but we record The Closer on Lifetime and see the commercials). But Net pointed out it is just a 1 day thing. I personally don't think the movies they are playing that 1 day will compete with HMM Gold Crown movies.

  5. Net, well I messed up. I misread this update. I missed the new marathon will be on Lifetime, but I still can't wait to see Mayim Bialik again. She is great in The Flight before Christmas. But then, she is good in whatever she is in.

    1. I get it, Mark... there's a lot to keep track of - and when both networks have many of the same actors & actresses, it makes it even harder!

      Btw... Cool new handle! :)
