YESSSS!!!!! I'm there, Net! 18 days of Hallmark Valentine movies, even if it's only one movie some days, this is AWESOME! Maybe this will fill some of the void from Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI always try to think that way, too, Lauren - about Christmas. And while it is great, of course, nothing is quite like Christmas!
Delete18 days is pretty Awesome, though! Enjoy!!! ;)
I'm a little skeptical on real couples working together. I'll be interested to see how this goes.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's an interesting situation- we know they have real life chemistry, but will that resonate on screen through this story? Time will tell!
DeleteI'd say it's pretty appropriate that Hallmark's Countdown to Valentine's day begins with the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie Love Locks, which was filmed in Paris, notoriously known as the city of Love.
ReplyDeleteIt was partially filmed in Paris -- I think the cast was there for the first week of production or so, from what I recall. The rest of the shoot took place in Montreal (which was probably posing as Paris). I wish they had been able to stay in Paris for the duration of the shoot!
DeleteYes, I love Hallmark movies! They speak to my ❤! K.M.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Hallmark bring back the daily romantic movies coming up to Valentine's day. I've been on the bandwagon to get them to bring back the week night movies Monday thru Friday, but if they repeat this method around the major Countdown holidays, then that would be somewhat of a success. Thanks for this reminder, Net. Looking forward to 18 days of Hallmark movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas in Paris expect holidays would be Christmas movie!!! I wonder if they will make a movie somehow for Hallmark Channel!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish they make some movies for countdown to St. Patrick's Day since Chasing Leprechauns (2012) was on Hallmark Channel & later, it's air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Will Valentine's Again move to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, perhaps or still Hallmark Channel since one of the movie from Hallmark Channel moved to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries?
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly a possibility! I've actually guessed that may be an option for this movie, as well.
DeleteThat would be perfect for it to go to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries because this movie certainly has been a mystery - since the day it vanished or rather (less dramatic) was removed from the Countdown to Valentine's Day lineup!!!
Anyway, we shall see! :)
What's interesting is that I guess it's too late to edit the Countdown to Valentine's Day commercial that Hallmark has been running, and so they are still showing the version with a quick shot of Nicky Whelan from "Valentine's Again" (I think someone is giving her flowers, maybe?). It zooms by so fast, though, that people could easily miss it, or not really realize which movie she is supposed to be in if they don't know that there was supposed to be a "Valentine's Again" movie in the first place.
DeleteLove Locks is a cute movie - I realize that Lindsey is actually a painter with Hugo!!! Lindsey & Jack reunited at the hotel...
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, it says on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' website that the movie "Honeymoon for One" is now a Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation. If I remember correctly, that movie was not originally a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting! I just went to the Hallmark web-site to see it. I think that must be a simple mistake, since "Honeymoon for One" was not, as you said originally a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. It's surely just an error.
DeleteI thought that Love Locks was a good movie - thoroughly enjoyed all 3 love stories!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this movie, Net! Loved the music, scenery and art themed scenario. Made me want to jump on a plane and fly to Paris!! LOL!!
